not really - but it will pass

    just having a crappy day....

if I wasn't on the pill I'd think it was hormonal..... as theoretically I should be ovulating today... but as I am on the pill, I am not.... that sucks...

it will pass, I'll be okay...

thanks for giving a crap, I just knew that someone in here would understand....

    Hi ladies,

Myturn, hugs hun. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you

Mrs P, congrats on being PUPO! Will be stalking you in the 2WW

Jane, GL for your FET on the 20th hun! Will be be sending you super sticky vibes

Andie, hopefully your medicated FET cycle won't be so bad this time GL sweetie!

    How is everyone else doing?

Well, I think AF is going to be here tomorrow or Thursday, so jabbing will start towards the end of the week. Feel sort of emotional about it all, my m/c was in February but it still feels like it was yesterday. Gotta get over the fear again. Have been getting lots of acupuncture and taking extra supplements, so I will be interested to know how many (if any ) eggs I will produce. My gonal-F is upped from 350 to 375, don't know what kind of difference that's gonna make. Last time on 350 puregon I got 4 measely eggs. None were great. Hoping this time with all the extra bits I've been doing, I'll get a better result.

    B xx

    Just got the news....

I have been officially 'randomised' to the Acupuncture trial... (rather than the control group) something small to smile about....

(seeing I spent most of this morning crying.... such a sad case....... don't worry, I took the day off work.... good thing, I wouldn't have coped at all!)

think I'm starting to feel better.... ....

...just keep putting one foot in front of the other... right...?

myturn - so sorry you are having a hard time. LTTTC is so tough and you are allowed to let your guard down and have those days where you fall apart. Just know we are all here whenever you need to 'chat'.

What is the acu trial? Sounds interesting! I am a huge fan of acu, not just for TTC.

myturn - now I wish you lived close so I could give you a big . I know exactly how your feeling. I was almost at the end of my rope and I can tell you once you get your BFP its totally worth all the crying, feeling like ****, feeling like a failure and being poked, prodded and on display. If its still in you at all keep trying. Only you and your DH will know if its in you to keep going. Take care, cry, eat chocolate and give your DH lots of cuddles. xxxxxxxxx

thanks girls... I always know you guys 'get it'...

i don't know the actual details - but I saw it somewhere and just signed up, they give you acupuncture during the FSH phase, and then the day before and after ET (or something like that..) they are trying to determine whether patients who use it have more live births or not..

I've never had acupuncture before (and I know it means I'll have to trapse around to more appointments... ) but I thought anything is worth a shot, and even if it doesn't help.....

    ..... I am helping humanity........

myturn, speaking from my own experience you will love the acu!! I just had a session earlier today to help post-transfer. Also have it leading up to transfer to help prepare the lining and encourage blood flow to the uterus.
Besides the physical side it also helps me de-stress, you will probably find it just makes you feel more chilled out, which can only be a positive

While doing my PhD I had weekly acu which helped me cope with the stress and not go insane!! It's also great for insomnia.

myturn - big hugs. i wish i had something comforting to say, but i think you hit the nail on the head - you just have to put one foot in front of the other. and repeat until you get there. i read about that acu trial, might look in to again myself, cant hurt right?

emma - hope your jab goes ok tonight.

    hi everyone else. xx

Acupuncture sounds interesting. Maybe in this cycle doesn't work I'll look into for the next. Anything is worth a try hey.

Sorry, just a quick one from me now, will come back and post properly and update the list after dinner, but just for a silly question.....

FET is scheduled for next Wed 20th. I have a hair appointment for the Sat 23rd. What do you girls think - do I cancel or go ahead with the cut and colour? I don't know what the rules or suggestions are on this. I cancelled my appointment last cycle and still got a BFN - just had more grey hairs to accompany my sadness. Lol.

more gentle for you Myturn. The Acu program sounds great! I'm thinking of getting it this cycle too Can only hope that you contribute a positive number to the study!

MissB yay for a new cycle hun, though I am sorry you're here again so soon. Let's hope the new dosage yields a better haul

Emma yay for jabbing and getting things moving! When is your scan to see how your follies are going?

Jane thanks for taking on the list, hope it brings you some luck very soon! One week til transfer, woohoo hope the side effects are lessening by now

    MrsP Congrats on your PUPO-ness!

AFM I have been laying low so far, the FET cycle seems so uneventful. Just tablets and pessaries and waiting for transfer, which is on Monday the 18th yay Was cruising along, just taking my 6 x progynova, 2 x prednisolone plus a megafol and vitamin D each day. Then adding 1 x oestrogen pessary into the mix each night for the last 5 nights.
From today though I'm also doing 4 x P4 pessaries and 1 x combo pessary (feels like I'm spending all day medicating myself!) and BAM!! - I feel like a mood-swinging mofo! My temper is so short I'm snapping/yelling at my DS for the randomest/smallest things Is it the progesterone do you think?

Thinking I will do acu this time too, just need to get by bum into gear and book it in!

people get preg all the time and dye their hair....

just depends on whether you will blame yourself for doing it if it's a BFN..... I'd probably try to do it BEFORE the ET as well... if you can.....

Jane I wouldn't worry too much, but would still try and re-schedule to before the FET if I could

Myturn - big hugs from me as well... I'm sorry you feel so crappy... Acupuncture is awesome! I have been going about once a week for the last year! And my first time IVF I had it as well, once weekly, then just after embryo transfer and I fell pregnant (even though the end result wasn't quite what we wanted). Today I went back there and she will help me get my cycle back on track, so curious how soon the HCG will be out of my body!

Ree-Ree - that's sound like a hell of a lot of pessaries... Is that usual for an FET I wonder? I know it's your first one, but there are other people that have had FET's?

Jane - I don't know about colouring hair, but I know in general in pregnancy it can't hurt the baby.

AFM according to the acupuncturist I'm supposed to be day 6 now (counting D&C date as day 1) - so if you wouldn't mind updating that, Jane? I called the clinic today and booked in an appointment with the FS on Monday 25/6/12. According to the nurse I'll have to wait till HCG is out of my system, then wait a cycle and then we can start whatever we want to start. It doesn't sound like we can fit anything in before our trip to Europe in September, but we'll see.

    I hope everyone is well!
