Jane it's funny you mention it -as you know I had my transfer yesterday and I am getting my hair done Friday night! I hadn't even considered it being an issue to be honest. At this early stage there's no placenta so no chance of any 'chemicals' that I may/may not absorb getting to the embie (that's just my non-professional view!).
But what it comes down to is whether you would blame a BFN on having gotten your hair done in the TWW. Myself, I'm still having my appt, but you have to be happy with your own decision

    Hi lovely ladies

Ree- u/sound is booked in for Friday- cant wait to see how we're doing!

I was going to try ACU, but I just never made any appointments!
Am I too late? When is optimal to have it done?

I coloured my hair throughout my pregnancy with DD- the only thing I wouldn't do- was put bleach straight on my head (without foils)
I'm off to the hairdressers tomorrow too!!!

Not to be a sook or anything- but did anyone find that they experienced the most uncomfortable-ness on one side?
I naturally O on my left side, and last night my left side was far more bloated than my right?!?

Thanks for the hair advice. Might call my hairdresser tomorrow and see if I can't get in early if not I think I will just go ahead with it. So much of life gets put on hold during this LTTC. All because of the "what if". What i I'm pregnant. It does your head in sometime.

Hi Emma - I found I got quite sore and heavy and lying on one side hurt once I'd been stimming for a while. At your US you should get an idea of how many follies you have on each side and what size they are.

ReeRee – I can’t believe how many pessaries you have to do. I start on Sat with 2 a day. I wont complain about that anymore. I would reckon all those hormones would definitely be messing with your mood. Hope DH is kind and understanding to you. Sometimes we just need some extra TLC.

Me4ever – Glad you got an answer re where you are up to cycle wise. Will update you on the list. Wow a trip to Europe in the coming months – how awesome!!!

Miss B – sorry it looks AF is on her way, but it great you have a plan ready to go for your next cycle.

Andie – Been quietly stalking you. Sorry babe. Hugs. Know we are all here for you.

    Hi to everyone else.

    Hi ladies,

Well I am confused......I had spotting yesterday and today later in the day I had fresh blood, but it's still not 'full on' flow, do I count that as day 1??

Jane, I coloured my hair as per normal when I was pg with Cam.....I was told it was OK..

Emma, I was bloated all over in my stim cycles. And then in my last cycle, all my pain was on my left side, and when I had a u/s they said all the mature eggs were on the right, the ones on the left were too small and they didn't get any from that side. Weird!

myturn, big hugs sweetie . I think you'll like the acupuncture and it has been proven to be extremely beneficial for IVF patients. I so hope it's beneficial for me and my 'older' eggs...

ReeRee, thanks hunni I will have everything crossed for your FET hun

    Hello to everyone else!

MissB - Just call the clinic and let them know, if you're doing some sort of treatment this month??. I was spotting for 4 days before my IVF cycle and called the clinic on the fifth day and had a blood test done. Then they told me I was already day 2 of that month's cycle... and was to start meds the next day...

    Have a good day everyone!!

At the beginning of cycle two here - my levels were only 2 last time, need to be >15

got royally mucked around at the gyno clinic, which is nothing unusual

The plan now is (after seeing the better OBGYN finally):

    CD 4-8 (inclusive) Clomid

DTD from day 8 onwards, at a minimum of every 48 hrs

    CD 21 bloods (03/07)

technically from 1st-10th of the month I should be taking my Provera..... but have been told to hold off until I get the results from the test... then told to wait and see if AF arrives naturally (which never happens to me).. If AF hasnt arrived by the end of July I am to do a HPT and if negative, start Provera in August..

I seriously think that this plan is queer... like instead of me having a 28-30 day cycle like I had been happening since my m/c = using the provera - having to wait around and hope that things work is turning things into a 60 day cycle......

    Is this normal?????

Thanks me4ever, I rang my nurse and she said to count today as day 1, as I got the red flow (very light tho) around 5 pm yesterday and they say that if it's after 6 pm to count the next day as day 1. So CD1 for me today Jabbing tomorrow, from Monday jabbing twice a day and u/s on Thursday.

Welcome super_lost_mumma_of_1 ( is slmo1 for short ok?) and good luck with your cycle hun. I'm sorry but I can't help you with Provera or clomid but I hope someone in here can

So, CD1 for me, things are finally happening and I can't help but feel excited, nervous, scared!! and relieved the cycle is finally here - all at once!

    I've met my match!

    Orgalutran!
Ouch, it hurts and it's itchy!
The nurse did today's dose- how will I do it myself

Scan today- 15 follies- small size.
    Another scan on Monday.
But the FS decreased my dose of puregon..... Confused.

Throw a freaking parade ladies, AF finally arrived, officially CD1 today. Woohoo. Now if only I could get the clinic to answer the phone so I can get this baby making body underway.

Emma, you poor thing hun, I remember the orgalutran hurting as well and drove me crazy with itching for about half an hour after the jab. Good news is that after about the 3rd or 4th jab the side effects stopped (or I got used to them) so I hope it's the same for you.

Sending lots of XOXO to you all.

Woo-hoo Emma on 15 follies, that is awesome as Miss B said, esp at this early stage.

Mrs Mac - finally the witch arrives! I'll bet you've been sick of checking every time you went to the loo ha ha!

Miss B - yay for Day 1 (now 2) for you too.

Ree Ree - are you all set for transfer? Someone has to come join me in the TWW

    Hi everyone else!

AFM - 3dpt and not much going on today. No cramps to speak of since the ones I had yesterday. Had swimming lessons with DD this morning. I tried to take it easy but it is hard with a little one. How I am supposed to avoid picking her up all the time?? Hoping that doing things like that wouldn't actually make a difference but who knows.

Emma, sorry the orgalutran is hurting. You'll get used to it

Re: the reduction in puregon dosage, it sounds as though your FS wants you to coast for a few days to give your follies a chance to grow without one or two dominant follies overtaking the others. Did they give you the sizes? Usually you won't trigger until 20mm or more.

I had an interesting FS appointment on Wednesday. Still processing it all so will post about it when I have. Having a hysteroscopy and biopsy though, testing for nk cells (even though my FS doesn't believe in them!).
