7 is a good haul emma, well done! i got 4 on my first stim, remember it's quality not quantity.. hope you're feeling ok. xx

miss b - haven't had thrush with stims, but heard it can happen. used to get it when I was younger though, it sucks.

mrs p - don't worry, i have a lot of 'me time' already! goodluck with your 4th poas & BT.

Emma, seven's not bad at all I got three on my first stim (only one available for transfer). It's not about quantity, it's about quality.

    Hopefully, one is the winner!

I had 7 my first time too
they ALL fertilized and 3 created 'good' embryos. 1 implanted - but nothing was left to freeze. Obviously it was a BFN. But.... It might have worked! They were all doing what they were supposed to!

FX it's all good for you!
Chin up - its all overwhelming the first time because you don't know what to expect. xxx

    Thanks guys!

I suppose I was just shocked that they couldn't take what was on my right side!
The FS never explained that as a possible outcome....

Feeling a little sore and sorry for myself now, and a bit like an idiot- I burst out crying when they said 7, only from the left side

Emma - 7 is a good number hun and don't feel bad about crying they get it all the time.

When they cancelled my first transfer whilst i was lying on the bed in theatre, legs up and ready to go, I was an absolute mess, made a huge scene. But everyone was lovely.

When I came back for my FET a few months later all the lovely nurses and scientists and doctors said that they remembered me from last time and felt so sorry for me on that day and that they really hope that this would be "the one". Was really sweet.

    Thanks girls!

Jane- that is sad, but I'm glad everyone was lovely to you

AFM- is it normal to constantly feel like you have a full bladder?
Like I'm busting to pee, but when I do, only a little bit comes out?

Emma - Its totally normal. I felt like I couldnt sit down for ages. My second stim I ended up with a urinary tract infection. Antibiotics cleared it up. I felt like I needed to pee, but nothing would come out. Great news on 7. My first stim I had 5, my second I had 8 and my 3d 17 eggs. Out of 17 only 2 were viable. So better to have less, but better quality. Good luck for fert rates x

    Hi ladies,

The scan went well today. I have approx. 6 to 8 good follies, with EPU on Wednesday. So hoping for a few more between now and then. I am happy that both ovaries have responded to the drugs. On the down side, if all goes well and they get some nice embies, it looks like transfer will be on Saturday again (day 3) as they don't do transfers on Sundays which would be day 4. I really hope at least one makes it to day 5 which would be the following Monday. Time will tell I guess, first thing first, and that is to get some nice eggies to start off with

    b xx

Thanks Jane I am starting to feel a bit bloated now and definitely the ovary pain is there. Quite a tender belly, hopefully that's a good sign! x

Great news on the U/S miss B!

Does anyone know if crinone (sp) has to be used at the same time every night?
How far up do I stick it?
