Thank you all for your best wishes. DH and I are still in shock, going for my second blood today to make sure it's rising quick enough. Just on edge a little now hoping it all goes right.

K78- Try not to lose hope. My HPT didn't show a BFP until the day before my scheduled BT. And that was using crystal clear. There is still hope! Also- I'm sure I read on this forum about a girl who did a HPT the morning of her BT and it was a BFP but when she got her bloods back it was positive with good numbers!! I know it's hard, probably the longest two weeks of my life! Hang in there!

KitKat72- Yeah, this was our first cycle. My fingers are crossed already for the 13th!!! It sounds like you have a couple of strong embies there! I hope they're sticky as well!!!!

Leabie- Fingers crossed for Wednesday as well!!! And hoping the OHSS stays well away!!

Sorry for only a couple of personals, I am praying for everyone on this forum that they have great results!

    xx

Just a quick update from me. I went for my suppression check this morning and was surprised to be told to start the FSH straight away. The new FS has switched me to gonal-f, which I'd never used before, so I actually did my first injection right there in the office before I'd even had my blood taken. FX the b/w is okay... If all is good I continue jabbing and sniffing and go for my first monitoring on Friday.

K78, hold in there hun, there is still a chance X Take a few deep breaths, you are almost at the end X I understand how excruciating this TWW is, and I know I will be going just as crazy, but I know of so many girls that didn't get a pos HPT until day of, or after their BT.

Jiniper well done! Bloods will be fine I know it, so happy jabbing, I will join you tomorrow X

Leabie, Oh hun I hope you are feeling ok now, fingers crossed for Wednesday XX

GlennyC well done, congratulations!! Hope you have a healthy pregnancy X

Chekigal, I had 5000iu Pregnyl in March and was still in my system 9 days later, I tested on day 10 it was out of my system. Trust me, don't go the POAS!!!! Every time I have been on pregnyl, I get all excited over my fake BFP's, plays with the mind to much!X Hang in there X

Trueblue HappyBirthday to you and DH for the weekend XX Enjoy the new bed!

Wishingbaby congrats on a great number X Hope you are resting up now, and drinking plenty of water XX Take care XX

KitKat, I pray that you have a quick and relaxing TWW. And a successfull one ! X

Loops honey, hope you are doing ok XX You have been through a lot XX

Mum2be, best wishes for your upcomming FET

Sorry to miss anyone, will catch up to you all soon enough.
I am day 1 cycle today, so start jabbing 225iu puregon tomorrow night.
Last time I was on 150iu, so I am praying I don't get OHSS.
So another journey begins! Excited and so nervouse.

Take care all, have a great weekend.

Goodluck to all girls testing soon XXXXX!!!!!

Juniper - I'm sure bloods will be fine

    Leabie FX for Wednesday

GlennyC - hope all is still going well

    Trueblue -

Wishingbaby - congrats on a great number!

KitKat - Welcome to the TWW - hope you are going well.

Loops - hope you are doing ok hon - big hugs!

Mum2be - all the best for your upcomming FET

Murraycod - back on it - FX and GL - hope OHSS stays away

K78 - I understand exactly what you are going through. There is still hope though hon. I think that you are like me in that it will be easier to deal with a BFN if we start letting go of the hope now.... sending you big hugs. I know how hard this journey is .... the questions and hopes, the torment and pain and I just wish I could find the magic solution... it feels we go through so much and put ALL of ourselves into this journey - so for it to fail - it doesn't seem fair!

AFM - I am letting go of this dream - even though the final result isn't here - and trying to gain back control of my life again....everything seems to go on hold during IVF including my biggest passion - scuba diving - which will be the first thing I get back into should this not turn out as hoped.

If I get a BFP I think I will keel over - I feel that my chances are so very slim.

The fact that AF has not arrived feels like nothing more than torment at the moment...

    *sighs*

Chekigal- thanks, all is well. My numbers have doubled from Thursday so I'm just trying to relax until the ultrasound in two weeks time.

I will stop updating on here now as I don't want to be insensitive. I will still be reading though and praying that all of you get a BFP soon.

Thank you all so much for your support through my time here. You are wonderful people and it is so great to be able to talk to people who "get it".

Glenny C - after your post I read a little bit more about HPT and have enabled myself to hope just a little bit more that I have tested too early.

I completely stuffed up my timing and thought I was much further along than I am

What I don't get is that I am on 1500iu of pregnyl every three days after et and yet the HPT are giving a negative - anyone able to shed any light on this? I have had three lots since ET!!

All the research says to wait about 10 days after pregnyl shot for it to be cleared from your system and not give a false positive.... but I am getting negatives - even on the day of a pregnyl shot???!!!!

murraycod, FX you've got the right dose this time. My dose has been increased to 450iu for this cycle (plus the change from puregon to gonal-f). My old FS wasn't willing to go above 325iu...

chekigal, I've read that the hcg shots can take 24 hrs to reach the urine. But that would only explain getting a BFN for the first one. I'm not sure what else to suggest? Unless you're testing with a hpt that isn't very sensitive or you got a faulty batch?

Trueblue, happy birthday for tomorrow (or was yours Monday?). It's a great time of year for a birthday (mine is next Saturday).

Afm, I never heard from the clinic, so I guess all is fine. So the week ahead will be all sniff jab sniff, sniff jab sniff, sniff jab sniff,...

Chekigal - No idea, other thought is that it is too high a level to be recorded as the tests only display HCG between a range (so if too high won't display a positive result) - just a thought?
Juniper - sounds like everything is fine which is great news!
Murraycod - I have FX that this is your cycle Goodluck with all the jabbing, I am sure you will be fine and look forward to seeing how your cycle progresses.
    Trueblue - Happy Birthday!
Wishingbaby - Hope those embies are doing what they are supposed to do! Hope you are doing well too and aren't too stressed.
mum-2-be - Hope you enjoyed your month off - I know I certainly did. Hope your AF arrives soon so you can start your FET!
K78 - Thinking of you - I know, as many of us do, how awful it is to go through the ups and downs. I stopped using HPT's for the same reason as it was too stressful to keep seeing BFN’s before my BT - but please remember that until you have your BT, you REALLY don't know.
glenny_c – Goodbye for now but hopefully will see you in the pregnancy after LTTC forums soon!
Leabie – Hope you are doing OK now – BT not to far away now!
KitKat72 – Your BT is a long time after your 3 day transfer, mine is normally 2 weeks after ovulation, but yours is two weeks after transfer?
Terry – Hope your follies are growing and you aren’t getting too stressed out.

Mildez, kimbe, kitty_kat_48, babytruj, maggie , danyelle and melissal – Hi and hope you are having a nice weekend and not having to think too much about this awful LTTC caper we are all going through!

HI to anyone I have missed – there are a few of us in here at the moment - but glad to see we have cleared out a few into the pregnancy forums (in the nicest possible way, I want us all to move in there!)

AFM – Have another BT tomorrow morning to see if Femara has helped me to ovulate as I normally use Clomid but this month am trying a new drug. Wasn’t responding very well as of Thursday so hope to see I am doing something or will have to cancel the cycle

hi guys, thought i'd put up a quick note to you all.
soory i have been so slack in getting on BB

i have been reading some of the threads, congrats to those BFP's

i'll try to get on here and do some personals, been so busy with work and still getting this new home loan thing done too, is a bit stressfull.

we have delayed next IVF/ ICSI full stim cycle til next month now as i am just too stressed to do it ATM.
i want to give these embies the best chance possible. so lets wait till our home loan is approved and all our council approvals done then we'll do it.
hopefully i will have a day off this week where i can do something for myself, but not holding breath for that one.
i did have acu last week and DH and i went to the movies together, which is a rare thing indeed, it was nice to do something together.

    chat soon.

    Happy Birthday Trueblue

Lairdoz, interesting point about the BT. They originally told me to test on the 13th when they thought I was going to be doing a day 5 transfer. I wonder if the date should change now that they did a day 3? Of course, the embie would still be the same "age" (if it survives until then), even though it spent more of its "life" inside of me than in the petri dish. I just don't know. But thanks for raising this -- I'm going to call the clinic and ask next week.

I hope everyone else is doing well. (Don't have time for detailed persies this morning.)

AFM, no probs yet with my TWW. I'm pretty relaxed so far. Just sad that I can't go for a surf on such a nice beach day. DH is out there right now tearing it up -- jealous! Anyway, I suspect I'll start to get more antsy as the days progress . . .

    Have a great day.

Morning girls and Happy Belated Birthday to TrueBlue! Glad to hear you had a great time.
Chekigal - How are you? Keeping away from more HPT or have you buckled like me? I've become obsesssed with them!
Murraycod - FX this cycle is the one for you
Leabie – Good luck for your upcoming BT

Sorry for those I have missed. I hope your cycles are all going well and that you are keeping the stress levels down (whatever way you can).

AFM – Did another HPT this morning (first wee) with a Crystal Clear and it came up BFP (very faint again but there). I'm hoping this is a good sign. Can I get excited yet or still wait til tomorrow?? I am SO inpatient now. Only one more sleep and we'll know FOR SURE YES OR NO! DH and I have decided to go to Broome for a holiday in May regardless of result, will be booking tomorrow. Need to celebrate/recover somewhere lovely and relaxing.

Lairdoz - how did your BT go this morning? Any action yet? My body did not respond to Clomid at all (and we did double time on it) hence moving onto IVF straight after.

Thanks for the well wishes girls X

K78, ooooh! I am getting excited for you!! Sounds like a BFP to me!! And what a lovely idea, a holiday, you lucky spoilt girl !!

Trueblue, nice to read you had a nice night last night X I am a Taurean too! My 30th Bday is May11, but not that impressed about leaving my twenties behind

KitKat you are doing well! TWW's are killers for me!! I intend to do this next TWW with a bit more grace than last time I was a shocker to say the least!!!!!

Chekigal, got me beat why the pregnyl isnt showing up on a HPT. I hope you can get some answers X

JBM, good on you for not rushing into things Takes a strong woman to put your IVF plans on hold for a month, even for the right reasons. But I totally agree with you, DH and I put our IVF cycle off last month for some testing, and because we were in the middle of harvest. Now harvest is over, we can enjoy the process, be completely there for eachother, for the up's and downs, and not put any more stress on eachother than we need too.

Lairdos, I have my fingers crossed that your blood work comes back fine, and you won't need to cancell anything honey XXXXX

Wishingbaby, I hope your little embies are growing nice and strong XX Do you get an update each day??
Repromed in Adelaide for me, only tell you how many fertilise, then find out on the day of ET how many have kept growing. I guess mabey they think it's one less stress to worry about, but deep down you constantly wonder X

    Juniper, sniff, jab!!! XXX Enjoy!

AFM, welllmy AF is being a total cow to me, I was up untill 130am last night with the worst cramping and heavy loss. It's just darn awfull.
I had a Uretus Biopsy done last week, don't know if this can cause such a heavy loss when AF comes, but geez she's a nasty one! Start my Jabbing tonight and am getting a little excited!

Hope all had a great weekend X

Hey guys - Just wondering - I woke up today with the worst zits I have had in ages (worse than the occasional jawline zit I'd get the week before AF) and now I've been feeling nauseous since this afternoon. I've had pretty much NO side effects from any of my IVF drugs during my entire cycle, except for getting pretty bloated right after my Ovidrel trigger shot last Sunday night. I had a day 3 ET the day before yesterday. I presume it's too early for the little speck to have implanted, and even if not, it's still too early to have PG signs, right? Could these symptoms be from the Crinone I'm taking 2x/day?

Somebody, please talk some sense into me!

Oh yeah, anybody know how long it takes the 250iu Ovidrel shot to leave your system?

    Thanks!

    KitKat72

Edited to Add: BTW, I'm happy to announce that my other embie made it to Day 5 blast today, so they've gone ahead and frozen it. One frostie - yay!

Kitkat, check the info in the pack, but I think the crinone can have that side effect. As for the Ovidrel, I don't think it's 250iu, I think it's 250mg or ug? My understanding is that is similar to an 8,000iu hcg shot, so it should be the usual 10-12-ish days for it to be metabolised. The amount in your system should halve every 24-ish hours. Sorry, lots of "ish"es there. Congrats on the snowbaby!!

murraycod, I'm so sorry she's being a cow to you too. I was literally up all night between CD1 and CD2, so I know how awful it can be. I hope she's eased up now. GL with your jabbing!!

Lairdoz, how did your b/t go? FX it shows all is on track!

Trueblue, I hope you had a great birthday! I wish I was turning 26! I'd even take 30! I'm feeling way too close to 35 right now!!

K78, my SIL was just trying to talk me into going to Broome this afternoon. I want DH & I to go on a holiday since it's been a while, but not sure what we can afford after this cycle... FX for a great number tomorrow so the excitement can begin in earnest!!
