Yes, you can stop the CoQ10 once you've had the EPU. It can't help the eggs after that. Also, I'd recommend taking it with breakfast - I find it can trigger my insomnia if I take it after noon. Ideally it should be taken with food that includes some fat (you get better absorption with some fat).

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014

my FS said you there is more success with a FET cycle, do you know why?
Sorry, I missed this earlier. The idea behind the better success rates with FET is that your body hasn't been through the stress of stimming (which can cause some inflammation-like effects) and the environment is therefore more favourable for implantation. This has really only come about since the freezing techniques improved (when we were doing our first FET in 2008, the FET success rate was much lower than for fresh cycles). If you have plenty of embryos, I think it's worth considering. But for someone like me with few embryos (we only had 2 by day 2 last time), it's not generally a good option because you will typically lose some during the thawing process.

If I may start with a bit of a "WTF?" post... So, AF finished on Sunday (CD5). Fairly normal in all aspects, compared to recent cycles. Then yesterday (CD8) I started bleeding again! WTF? Seriously? Just, WTF? And since AF had finished, I wasn't wearing any protection, so doubly annoyed because of the washing that had to be done as a result! Still bleeding this morning and cramping too... Again I say, WTF?

Crap Juniper..... I have the same problem, I will stop and then start up again a couple of days later, its annoying
My Acupuncturist is working with me to fix it though at times its hard as you have to see her when AF arrives and half the time she has no appointments available

GL though and please let me know if you find any info on this and a cure x

Thanks PositivelyGTC, it's reassuring to know it's not just me. I actually had acupuncture on Tuesday night (CD7, ie the night before I started bleeding again). I was considering phoning her to ask about it...

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014

Hey Juniper, no idea if this helps or not, buti used to find that if AF had stopped and I did accu within 2 days of it stopping - then it would start again and last another 2 - 3 days! Buti have 8- 10 day periods anyway and generally can't leave the house on day 1 or 2 as I am just bleeding too heavily

Prhaps the accu stimulates the uterus and that causes the bleeding to start again, if there is anything even slightly less? I also find my cycles go haywire after I've been on progesterone support. It would never have been possible for me to do back to back FET's or cycles if I had have needed to... I used progesterone pessaries with my natural bfp's butnprob only cause my OB was also my FS? Fingers crossed the bleeding stops asap!

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014

Thanks 3rdTL. I almost always have acupuncture within 1-3 days of AF ending and haven't had this happen before, so don't know if that would explain it for me. And I haven't used any progesterone for a year, so it's not that either... I hear you on not leaving the house CD1 or 2 though! Until recently, the first 3 days of my cycle kept me house-bound due to the heaviness. And now that they've gotten less insanely heavy (for the first time in my post-pubescent life!), the pain from my endo is getting worse again and keeping me home anyway...

Juniper I was exactly the same last year and I told my acupuncturist and she done something else with the acupuncture and herbs and it worked and that was the cycle I fell pg
so I would definitely discuss with acupuncturist, Good Luck hope she can stop it cause as soon as I told her and she changed something to help me I have not had another
period then bleeding a few days later xxx

Joski WOO HOO hope the bt is good news and your Oing xxx

So, for those who had bleeding again after AF started, did it push back your O day or did you O at your usual time?

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014

    Hey juniper,

I was ov tracking (BT's) with each of the cycles where I had a secondary bleed and ov generally stayed the same - one or two cycles maybe it was pushed back 1- 2 days, but generally it depended on how long the secondary bleed lasted.. Are you cycle tracking with BT's? If yes, they will be able to tell you, if no can you use the OPK to be sure? I hope this only happens on the one cycle for you... I can't remember, were you on progesterone support for your last cycle (sorry to ask) as I think this can also mess with your cycle a bit, in the cycle immediately following.

    Hi ladies,

I am so sorry I totally forgot to pop in here yesterday and post my BT results I was in a bit of a rush and only posted in the 2ww. So BT results came in yesterday afternoon and at 10dp5dt - hcg was 406! Higher than I expected and higher than my BT on the same day, in my twin pg.

Progesterone was 167 so FS and coordinator thrilled and say everything looks great. We are obviously thrilled and DH came home last night, exhausted but very excited.... In other news, I suddenly look 5 months pg??? My DS 4.5 asked me last night - out of nowhere if I was pg??!!! Very unusual for him to even notice anything about the way I look? I have put on a bit of weight in general (I'm craving sugar and carbs- which is super unusual for me) so I'm a bit taken a back that my tummy looks so rounded. I'm really hoping this will go away as juniper experienced in week 10 - otherwise I'm going to be absolutely huge, surely I cant be showing already?

Hello to everyone in here Joski have you been given the green light to get down to some serious BDing? Great timing with the weekend around the corner I have everything crossed for you that this is your month!

Positively - do you have a day for your transfer confirmed yet? Don't forget to let us know when the big day is

    Xx
