Megan, sounds like this cycle could be a total mystery (apart from DH's sperm quality due to illness). Look at Kotare, funny eggs one month, pregnancy the next. But as BW said, ICSI would overcome the binding issues if they think it is likely to happen again. I don't know about your clinic, but ours do this "emergency ICSI" thing that you have to give approval for where they try and get a result if things aren't happening via straight IVF.
BW, I've been reading your personal thread and I would imagine that a break from all of this would be the order of the day. There's no point running yourself into the ground when you can have a break and come back afresh. I realise this is difficult when we all become single-minded in this business.
Holly, the thing I love about you is that you bounce back twice as strong after a setback. It's just great to see and I don't know how you do it.
Ali, would be very keen to hear how you went when you feel ready.
Ellie, I hope your levels are as they should be and you aren't too worried.

Welcome Lauz - I'm also fairly new here & I don't know what I would have done without everyones support - it really helps to know there are so many people you can talk to that are going through the same journey.
Me - well had my EPU on Wed & there were nine eggs. They phoned yesterday morn to say that 4 were progressing nicely & I am going in this morning to have the transfer done. I feel so nervous about this because this is the final step for this cycle...CHez & BG looks like I will be joining you in the TWW within a matter of hours!

before I go I just wanted to say thanks to Megan - I still feel guilty about my news but it means alot to me that after what you have been through that you still wanted to know how it went for me. I hope with all my heart that you get answers from your FS next week and that your wishes will come true very soon.

Megan - I too would want answers so good on you for keeping your appointment. As some of the others said ask whatever questions you want - you deserve to get answers.
Me - since Friday only two of the four embies had progressed to the next stage so I had one transferred & one frozen. Had my first Pregynl injection last night & somehow managed to shatter the top of the vial as I opened it. I was so worried that glass would have gone in the liquid but DH assured my that the syringe was all clear. Can't wait to do the next one in a couple of days...NOT. So now I am officially in the TWW - I am a mixture of emotions at the moment but trying to stay positive & as relaxed as I can.

BW - I totally agree re:newborns everywhere. It doesn't matter where I go but I am astounded at the number of pregnant women & newborns...everywhere I look I see another. Not to mention that I have just found out that my friend is 13 wks pregnant with her second. I am very happy for her but a tad bit jealous that I could not give her some good news of my own yet.
Ellie - that is great news about your blasties...see you over in the TWW thread
