Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August 2014

Pholi, good luck with your scan!

Afm, I had a bit of a "things you don't expect to find yourself thinking" moment just now... Just got home from work (at 10:30pm! ugh) and went to the loo and I've got some bleeding (but not full flow). I have my lap on Thursday and had originally tried to time it to occur during AF. Thing is, I miscounted and made it a week later than I should have, but then my ovaries decided to go on strike and I haven't O'd since booking the lap and my cycles have been longer than normal, so I had no idea when AF may start and had resigned myself to the lap not being during AF. So I find myself desperately hoping that tomorrow will be CD1 and my lap will be CD3!!! Please let this be the start of AF (and not the start of a week of pre-AF spotting like last cycle)! Please!

    Hugs chellico xx

Will keep fingers crossed for AF for you Juniper (pretty sure that's the first time I've said that!).

So after taking clomid for first time this cycle I was thinking how lucky I am to have no nasty side-effects, then *bam* I turn into grumpy-psycho-***** after O! My poor family! Worse still, their suffering has been wasted this month as I got really sick around O and could barely stay awake, let along think about any baby-making activities. Sigh. Maybe next cycle.....

Hope everyone else is travelling along ok xx

chelico - I am so sorry hun, big hugs xx

pholi - good luck with your scan

juniper - I hope AF behaves and be there for your lap.

AFM - We will be doing ivf again on September, and I have some clomid left from January when I was supposed to have 3 cycles with clomid and I couldn't be bothered, do you think, I should leave my body to recover from this ivf and get ready to the one on September, or it doesn't really matter much if I have clomid this cycle? Not like I think I will get pregnant on clomid but I just feel that I need to be doing something...

Thanks lovely ladies.. I'm not feeling as disappointed as I thought I would be I kind of knew it hadn't worked as soon as I spiked that super high fever all the symptoms died with that... Clinic is making me test tomorrow & Friday still... Seems like a waste of time though we have to take a month off now so we'll be cycling together again CatyO... Big hugs to everyone... 😊 x

Just popping in to say good luck with your lap juniper, I hope you have a quick recovery and they do some miracle in there

Big hugs Catyo sounds like you are coping well considering, just go with what you feel your body needs, you will know if it needs a break or not.

And big hugs chellico also maybe it will be better when you don't get sick.

Spreading some baby dust around ********** as I go ***********
    Very good luck girls xox
