Just a reminder to all: all LTers love seeing a fellow LTer achieve that longed-for BFP, and we all find hope in one of our own having success in this difficult journey. But please remember that there are those who cycled with you who may not have received good news at the end of their cycle. Please do not post baby/child/pg tickers or pg related signatures (eg blinking BFP icons) etc in this forum out of respect for them.

As it's easy to forget to remove your ticker, please be advised that we will remove it for you if it's posted in here.

    Hi Ladies,

Mitf - great news, that is exciting and nice to read some good news, hope all stays well for you.

Tracey - Glad you didn't find the injections too bad - I thought the same! I think I imagined them to be a lot worse so it is a nice surprise when they are not too bad at all.

AFM: Had 2nd US this morning, follies are growing along nicely - still only seeing about 8 but now up to 14mm. Staying on same dose of gonal and synarel and back for US on Monday then prob trigger Monday night, EPU Wednesday. Just hope it is all worthwhile and they collect lots of little eggs.

Hope you are all doing well in your cycles or wherever you are at with things & life!

    Yay the weekend Enjoy!

    Hey girls

Tracy - looks like you and I will be on a similar injection cycle. I also started my gonal-f injections tonight. This will be my 3rd stimulated cycle (first one was cancelled 2 days before EPU though), but will be my 4th IVF cycle, as I've just finished a FET (which was also unsuccessful). I have my first U/S on Tuesday next week.

Nix - congrats on the growing follies. Hope they continue to mature and your FS gets heaps at EPU. Fingers crossed for you.

mitf - Again, congrats to you. I sent you a PM earlier. I hope you get it. First time I've had anything to do with PM's, so please keep me posted on whether you receive it.

No time to check the old thread, so will leave the personals at that. I'm sure things will pick up soon enough in this thread though - it always does.

    Wishes xoxo

Mitf - I was just looking back through the last thread.. wonderful news. Wishing you lots of luck for a H&H 9 months (or thereabouts!). Don't stress about your levels as they can quickly skyrocket.

Hi to all the newbies and of course, to those of you who have been here a while. Will be popping back in soon as just about to start an assisted FET cycle, counting the days.... I have been lurking and following everyone's progress and sending heaps of sticky vibes your way. How are you ladies in the TWW going?

Tantee: GL with your FET cycle

    Wishes: GL with this cycle

Nix: That's good to hear about your follies. Hope they keep growing nicely.

Tracy: I have also found the injections not as bad as I thought they would be. GL with your BT and US next week.

Hello to the rest of you lovely ladies out there. to you all.

AFM: US yesterday revealed lots of growing follies. Had 9 on my right side averaging around 11-12mm and 7 on the left side at the same size. So all up 16. Also had 14 under 10mm. No wonder I am feeling heavy in my lower abdomen and a bit bloated. I've been told to keep up the water and everything should be fine. My estrogen levels aren't really high to suggest OHSS yet. FX it stays that way. Off for another BT and US on Monday and anticipating EPU on Thursday or Friday.

DH is now bugging me about helping him with some paperwork crap, so I'd better go....

    Question Question!

    Afternoon Ladies,

Hope all is well on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Is such lovely weather out there . Hope everyone is right on track with their cycles. for all of you ladies out there and heres to many BFP's hey.

I have a question for all you lovely ladies. I start my first injection of Puregon this evening but during my recent time online here, I have noticed that alot of you have mentioned that you are drinking heaps of water. I have also noticed that this coincides with the FSH injections. Because Im trying to be extra healthy at the moment, Im drinking on average 2ltrs of water per day but was wondering, what is the benefit of drinking extra water!!!

I would definately love to know the answer as no one at the clinic has mentioned it to me at all. Just want to make sure I do everything as right as I can not to mention I'll do anything to assist with a BFP at the end of this

Best be off, fingers crossed for everyone. Fingers crossed for my first Puregon injection and also BT on tuesday morning!!!

Motherhood here i come!, the water is supposed to help avoid OHSS. My clinic recommends drinking 3 litres/day from the start of stims until the end of the 2ww. I've actually found that I can get dehydrated very easily well into the next cycle too so I keep it up for longer.

Afm, I've been lurking... Congrats to our wonderful mums-to-be! GL to those cycling.

I'm onto another cycle and have agreed to the acu's recommendation to add chinese herbs to the regime this cycle. We'll see what happens. Still counting down to IVF#4 in November (and, of course, secretly hoping we won't need it)...

    Hi all

I'm new here and about to go for my first egg collection tomorrow.

Taking liver herbs and drinking lots of water def helped me counteract the effects of the hormones.

Had 2nd US and BT this morning. I have 3 good size (over 20mm) follies on my left side and 2 on my right. Sonographer said that there is a good chance FS will decide to wait until the others catch up (there were another 10 that are around 15mm), but couldn't be sure.

I'm now just waiting for the phone call to let me know what to do......... Feeling like c#%p today!!!! Didn't drink as much water as I should've yesterday and now I'm paying for it. Sonographer also said I had a bit of free fluid around my ovaries/abdomen, but not too much

Sorry for the me post, I'm at work trying to get everything done before I need to take time off for the EPU.

    to you all.

    puffy!

    Hey everyone!

Motherhood here i come! - as per CassI80 - I think its to prevent OHSS. I should really take that advice and drink more water myself.

    Onja - Welcome!

Tracy- I think we all feel the same, I was just saying to DH - I just don't feel like me, these hormones turn you into another person!

CassI80 - when is your EPU? I think mine is Friday at this stage.

I had over 11 follies this morning only 2 over 1cm - so they wont be triggering me today, possibly Wednesday instead - which is great cause I get to recover after EPU over the weekend. Apart from that I am at the stage where any little movement, be it walking or sitting down I feel like my ovaries are on yo-yo strings boucing around inside me -is so painful and I feel so puffy at the moment!

    Hi Ladies,

Thank you for all your positive wishes but I am sorry to report my levels didn't rise and it is a BFN. It wasn't unexpected as I had some more spotting Sat and AF arrived yesterday. My FS has recommended that we take a month off to recuperate and then hopefully back for an FET in Oct.

I am a little out of touch with this tread so won't do too many personals but I hope everyone is going really well with their treatment and I am sure I will catch up soon.

Tracey - unfortunately being bloated comes with the territory and is a side effect of the drugs. I remember feeling like all my pants were too tight and I had put on a couple of kg's. Things should return to normal a few days after EPU.

Krikit - great result on the follies so far. with your trigger and EPU. I hope the pain and puffiness subsides quickly after EPU. I used to wake up in pain because my bladder was full and pushing against everything.

Cass180 - also great result on your follies so far. with your trigger and EPU also.

Onja - welcome. I hope your EPU went well today.
