Wishes - FS has told me that whilst it's common that AF turns up a little later after a stim cycle (maybe up to 5 days) that it's not unusual if she simply does what she's always done and turn up on time. So, as you said, you've effectively shortened your waiting time - yay
Nix - i'm also at MIVF (maybe i've seen you there?! Who else goes there?) and you're right, for ICSI we paid $5300. I was thinking also of the other costs involved - for the EPU we had to pay the full $863 because our private health insurance wouldn't pay it (I had quite the tantie after I found that out ), and then the antagonist drug (last cycle I had 4 shots @ $90 each). But yes, we'll certainly get most of it back, especially now we've hit the safety net. And because we didn't finish our cycle we have a small credit with MIVF, so we won't have to pay quite as much up front
Coral - not long till the 25th now - it'll be here before you know it! You mentioned yoga - what type do you do and how do you find it? I used to really enjoy body balance at the gym but haven't even tried a yoga class before. Do you find it helps to destress you?

WE CAN GO STRAIGHT INTO ANOTHER CYCLE
So we had our appointment this afternoon and he said no worries about starting again straight away. We're doing an antagonist cycle, and to be honest I didn't ask if back to back was okay for all cycles, but he just said it was more a case of being ready mentally rather than physically. So maybe different cycles and different drugs would be a different story? AF is due any time from tomorrow onwards - i've got the cramping and the out of control chocolate cravings (which is usually my biggest tell tale sign!), and like last time, i'm counting down the minutes till she arrives and I can start again!
He said this time we'd double my dosage of Gonal-F, so i'll start at 300, but otherwise we'll stay with the same plan as last time. The only other thing he said we might do differently was transfer two embies, but we'll discuss it after EPU when we know how many there are. Like most of us, i've no objections to twins!!
In relation to our cancelled ET last week he said that our two embies were dividing as they should but some of the cells contained more than one nucleus, which is not normal and more likely to result in a) no pregnancy, b) miscarriage if you do manage to get pregnant, or c) a child with severe abnormalities if you do continue. So he said they just don't even transfer embryos like that any more, and it really was just a case of extremely bad luck for us that both our embies were like that.
So I feel heaps better now that I know there's nothing seriously wrong with DH and I and full of optimism for our next cycle.
