Hi and welcome, Nire! You're in good company here. Let me know if/when you'd like to be added to the list. We can just pop you in the "waiting for something to happen" category if you want. GL with your IVF cycle! I remember how scared I was for my first. Trust me when I say that it was far, far LESS scary than I imagined. You'll do great!
Wow thank you so much for all the love. You girls are amazing.
I am terrified but excited at the same time. I'm cd 22, AF is due on 13th. If you could add me to the list Juniper that'd be great :-)This week we have final appt with our FS and also our mandatory counselling appt with the clinic.
Very emotional!
Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception August/September 2012
Thanks for all the goodluck wishes ladies. : )
I got 11 eggs collected at epu today, now have to wait for fertalisation numbers... won't find out until transfer on Sunday, unless I nag them & call before then (which is highly likely). On phone atm, so will read back & catch up with everyone elses progress when I get home tonight, just wanted to pop in quickly & let you know how I went. ; )
Good number Andie, I would totally nag them if I were you. I'm lucky because my clinic rings with updates, I remember when the embie got to say 3 they didn't check on them again until say 5 and the 2 days waiting was torture, but that may just be because I'm impatient. Good new is that we will be TWW buddy's, I have a transfer on Satuday.
morning everyone. i guess its almost lunch... but i am slothing at home today, so still in pj's and feels like the morning still.
kerbear - sorry to hear af arrived. take care and hopefully you will be back really soon. xx
myturn - i hope today is a bit better for you. sitting here trying to think what i what would have liked someone to say to me after my m/c... but there's really nothing to say that can make you feel better. we are all here though whenever you need us, and know exactly what you are going through. xx
blossom - i reckon its a good decision to keep going with your cycle, let us know how the scan goes today.
mrs mac - at my last clinic i could call the lab directly and talk to them about my embryo's progress, no such luxury with my current clinic. i will prob. call FS tomorrow/friday for an update though. i will be one day behind you with transfer, so keep me company obsessing in the tww next week.
vic - hope you're feeling ok after your biopsy the other day. you're braver than me, not sure i could do it. my pain threshold is quite low...!
jbear - remind me where you are at with your cycle? ive lost track...
hi miss b & anyone else ive missed. goodluck to the ladies in the tww & welcome nire.
Hi Girls. My biopsy only hurts at the time and a bit crampy in the afternoon, so I am all good now. Ready and anxious to get started on another round. It feels weird doing nothing, yet being in a cycle. Normally I am taking progynova 3 times a day, so it least felt like I was doing something.
My clinic just informs me that there is a price rise coming on September the 10th, so if I have to do more cycles its going to be more expensive. Just praying we dont need to go again.
Waiting for EPU/O/IUI/FET or just something to happen! Kerbear - taking a break Myturn - Vic261 - CD7

Hey Andie, don't worry i've kind of lost track of everything in here it's so busy I find it hard to keep up. Me? I've just been waiting for my follies to get to where they need to be, i got the call today to say we should be good to go Saturday. How are you feeling? It's nice just staying in ur PJ's all day, I think it forces u to totally relax. Great numbers BTW! I will be keeping my FX for those embies of yours I hope you have plenty of healthy ones to spare!
Welcome Nire! I hope everything goes smoothly and your stay here is short
AFM I feel like my ovaries are going to pop! And I have one good vein that is getting a work out so i am looking forward to no more BT for a while anyways. Egg coll should be this Saturday so I'm hoping that the acu i've been having helps with my egg quality, trying not to get too ahead of myself tho.
jumping on board.. currently CD8 doing IVF/ICSI this month after 2 failed FETs. We only have one embie left on ice.
Fresh transfer of a day 3 (my prediction, as DD was a day 3). Starting with gonal f 450 units and lucerin 4 units. Cardiprin, predinsolone and verapamil after transfer along with e2/p4 pessaries. We have also opted to do embryo glue on this transfer too. EPU should be Monday ... I have about 10 follies, so its looking good. My AMH is 2.4 and have a graded 'd' reserve so I can't complain about that amount of follies.
I feel like they are throwing everything at me this time round I can't really imagine that there is MORE that all of that ^^^
ho-hum.. not really feeling 100% a bit tired and headachey, but really with all that going on I am surprised I don't collapse at the end of the day.

jbear - good job on the scan, sounds like your stim is going very well, best of luck saturday - be sure to pop in and let us know how you go. im feeling fine, bit tender but I put in some serious couch time today so i reckon i'll be back to normal tomorrow!
hi krikkit - 10 follies sounds great, regardless of amh, well done. i am doing a stim with prednisolone, clexane & prog and hoping the extra meds help. goodluck for your epu monday. : )
