EmStar - Excellent news on your transfer. Sounds like you've got a good-quality embie there. Don't give up yet! Let's hope you can soon cancel that FS appointment for next year, hey? I know what you mean about higher odds with blasties v earlier transfers but I would take heart from one of the ladies on this site who is currently pregnant. I think I read she had a day 2/3 3-cell and 4-cell (with fragmentation) transferred. And you've got yourself a top-of-the-line embie

Trubabe - good luck for your cycle.

Mrs P - Thanks for your tips. I will try wiggling the toes this morning LOL! I have taken Clexane injections for 6 days now and I can see the various success or otherwise of my needles. Yesterday was the best yet, and I think I now have a system - breathe out, slowly and gently insert the needle, and as little pressure as possible! You say you're 10days post blastie transfer. When is your BT? I am only 2 days post blast. Aaaaagh!

    Hi all

EmStar - will have F and TX that this one sticks and you can cancel the appointment in Jan. Sounds like a very good quality embie. If it doesnt eventuate then we will be doing an IVF cycle together again. I hope it happens this time for you though GL in TWW

Littlemiss and Brunette ~ GL with the Clexane - sounds yuk! All the best with your cycles!!

MrsP ~ Stay away from the POAS!! All the best, hoping you get your BFP!! FX

GL to everyone waiting, jabbing etc

AFM ~ In a natural TWW, just finished o'ing. We have been on some tablets for the last month from my uncle who is a naturopath so hopefully they will have helped us already and we might have better chances! FX

Brunette & Miss P - It is the claxine brand that i've been prescribed, I think it must be the only one available as I remember asking my FS if there was any others I could take & the answer was no! I'm hoping I won't have to do them for too long, I think from memory I done them for a week last time. Also, I had to have a C/Section for my daughter & I only had to have them whilst I was in hospital which was 5 days.

I was trying to do my needle this morning whilst Abbey slept & half way through there was a knock on the door, my parents in law, so there I was answering the door with a needle hanging half way out my stomach!!

The clinic rang this morning to advise that of the 11 that had fertalised, we now have 8 looking good. As I mentioned this is our best result yet, so I hope we a few for the freezer. Hope you're all keeping as sane as possible!!

    Good Luck xxx

I'm back with 1 on board!

    Hi Ladies,

It has been an awfully long time since I posted, I have popped in to check on a few of you now and then. Emerald - love your wall of fame and you can add me to the - My BT is on 18/12/09 - FX for a great Xmas pressie! I see you are BT 2 days earlier - FX for you too.
I've just completed another down reg cycle, from about 9 follies all about 22mm (2 days prior to ET) we got 7 eggs (ET was on Wednesday) 5 fert, 1 back today and hopefully the 4 for freeze. So I am pretty happy.

My FS said the emby we put back today was "as good as it gets" and this being my 3rd transfer and the first time he actually did it - I am hoping he brings me some good luck! (he has been unavail the last 2 times)

I tell you tho - I am in a lot of pain this time round. Was very bloated and sore before EPU and bit tender yesterday but even worse today. Nurse says maybe a mild case of OHSS - I tell you I feel sorry for the ladies that have more than 10 eggs - and full blown OHSS. I just can not imagine the pain. I can barely walk and don;t ask me about what it feels like to cough or sneeze. Whooaaa

I see a few newbies in here - to you all... nice to meet you! I won't say welcome cos a few of you have been in here way more than me of late so I feel more like the newbie! I hope your time here is short - you know what I mean!

So this is just a quick post to update on where I am at. I will lurk around and try keep up - but good luck to all of you for whereever you are at!

LittleMiss - God you made me laugh going to the door to greet your in-laws with a needle hanging out your stomach! I hope they knew about IVF beforehand or they might think you're a druggie Great results, too!

Emerald star - please add me to your list - my BT is 7th Dec

Leabie - sorry you are out of the running, take care hun.

Loops - I didn't read your message in time and I did POAS today ha ha. I'm so bad.

Anyway girls - now I'm freaking out because it was a strong positive. I can't believe it though, like I honestly just don't think it's real. It's going to be an even longer wait until Monday now. The reason I POAS was that I didn't think it would be positive, so I thought well at least if it's a BFN then I'm more prepared for Monday. But, as with every other time I have POAS, it has made things more difficult. Argh.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
