Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

Hi Everyone, sorry have been a bit MIA at the moment.

Joe, not sure if you're still reading this thread but just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and wishing you all the best and peace with things, however they may be right now.

Sarah, it is hard to resist swearing thinking about your situation but freaking hell. It just sounds so so hard, mentally and physically. I really admire your attitude and openness about how it feels for you. I can imagine you would be proud of that little fighter. Wishing you healing in your own time.

Joski, I just googled your condition and it looks very full on. Can you tell us more about it? What is your treatment? How are you feeling?

Pos, trying naturally even though you think "yeah right" is so great because it is telling your body you do believe in it, deep down. It is also your heart expressing itself, "this is what I want". I know it sounds a bit kind of spiritual and kooky but I saw a reiki lady a while back and I had all this chest pain and she said, that's your heart and your are not being open about your desires (which was for another baby). And I just broke down in tears and it was absolutely true. Also, I have a science major and I am quite sceptical!

Okay had better get going. I am fasting now for my lap tomorrow and I have to start decluttering because we are selling our house (and moving to a lovely house a few suburbs away - just bought it on Friday - very exciting and stressful!). Also, Juniper, could I be put on the list? I would be "recovering from lap" in the top group I think. And thanks also, I have been reading your checklist a lot!

    love to all,
    WW

Good morning Ladies, Happy Monday wishing you all a wonderful day filled with love, light and loads of baby dust

Glorious - wow what a tough desciion to make hun, so glad that you are ok with it I guess that makes something like this so much easier when you are at peace with it. GL for the future wishing you loads of love & happiness with your family

Sarah - all the best for your d&c on Wednesday, hope it brings you another few steps closer to some closure, sending big hugs

WW - GL for your lap today hope it all goes really well and you get nothing but positive news back and can get back on the TTC track soon. Thanks to for the encouragement I am very spiritual so I find all that amazing and inspiring too. I agree I dont accept we wont have a bub we will and it will be this year too. A friend told me to put it out to the universe I must write my wish down on paper being a little specific and then burn it outside so the wind carries it off and out in to the universe. So I am doing that this evening

Juniper - I have been thinking of you in your two week wait, hope you are doing well and hope you have some good news to share with us real soon!!

AFM - didn't sleep at all last night I do suffer with insomnia and last night was just one of those nights. I think it's the stress of coming to work you know the idea of it's Sunday first day of the working week tomorrow anyway hopefully soon the crappy boss will get his marching orders as the Directors do not like him and realise he is useless and just gets us girls to do his work for him. Had the bbq on saturday for SIL went worse than expected which is sad I just couldn't bring myself to join the conversation with all the women asking her so when are you due? what hospital are you going to? blah blah blah when the conversation started I excused myself and busied myself in the kitchen and then went and joined the guys and kids in the pool
I dont know if I am a bad person but I just can not face talking to her about it, I did hear her friend saying I as in ME would organise the baby shower not impressed im actually rather ****ed off
    enough ranting........sorry Ladies

Aw rai you poor thing! That's just so hard and I can understand why it upsets you so much. I think I would feel the same way as you. So I'm not doing the testing. I'm over tests! Lol.
On another yukky note I'm finding another level of crushed as my DF and I are possibly at splitsville :-( 2 days before my d&c!!! He is made of stone I think!!
So I don't know where to from here all my dreams are shatterd.
What is up with my life?!
We were getting married and thought we were finally having our baby and whammo" :-(
