    Hi Ladies,

Loops12, I was on puregon since last Thursday and went for first U/S today (hope that helps your query.

Sorry but that's it for the personals today. Went for my BT and US this morning and looked good on the U/S figures wise - around 18 follicles between 8 and 12 mm already with EPU not supposed to happen till next Wednesday. Was all happy will BT came back with Est too high. Have been put back to original synarel dose and down from 200 puregon to 100. Back in tommorow for another BT to see if the reduction works. Having some pretty nasty abdominal pain and shooting lower back pain but hoping I won't be cancelled Major hot flushes and lack of sleep for the last two nights hasn't helped. Persephone1 you said you had mild OHSS - is this what happened to you? Has this happened to anyone else? Sorry Mrs P this is kinda off the track off your issue: which seems to be the exact opposite problem; I hope your stim works ok for you.

Thanks for any feedback you have for this; I'm a little nervous.

    Hello lovely ladies,

I am happy to report that I am felling much better. Apart from the occasional headache I am doing ok. Just bidding my time till next week when all the action begins.

Loops - I hope your EPU went well today and you have a speedy recovery!

Emerald star - I hope you are keeping well on your 2WW. Some just for you.

Jaminstar - Wow 18 follies already. I don't have a BT till Monday so will have to wait and see. Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. FX that things settle down with the changes to your doses.

Mrs P - welcome back. GL for your treatment, I hope this ones a stayer.

Baby2 Bee - welcome back also and GL with your FET.

Taurean - I hope you are settling back into school ok and the drugs aren't stuffing you around too much.

Vira - glad to hear that things have started to move forward. I lived in the UK for a while and know how painfully the NHS can be. I hope it doesn't take to long for you to see the Gynaec. There is nothing more frustrating than waiting to see the specialist.

    Hi Lovely Ladies

Im recovering well from my EPU yesterday - thank you for all your support and kind wishes. We had six good eggs collected yesterday and got the call this morning from the nurse to say we had a great result with 5 fertilising:. They micro-injected all six.
So our ET will be Sun and I am very excited. Just have to hope now that the cells divide etc to blastie and we get one really good embryo to be transferred. Thanks again !!

Jasminster - I think my query you mentioned actually came from someone else. I hope your down dosage works though so you arent in too much discomfort and that they still get good eggs collected soon. Will be thinking of you.

Thinking of you Mitf, and Taureen leading up to EPU and Emerald Star - you in your TWW.
Vira - GL with the Gynaec - hope things progress soon

Seph - Im glad your FS is so kind and caring - i wish you all the best with the next step! I really hope those frosty's can go to blastie and you guys get your little miracle (or 2 )!!

Hi to everyone else and all the very best. Sorry if ive missed anyone but GL to all x
Thanks Nae for dropping in and for all your support and kind words - you are the bestest and I hope things are still staying steady with your little one xoxo

Sorry just a short one as I need to go and rest now and get stuck into the water.

Firstly, I would just like to say a big fat THANK YOU to all you lovely ladies for your kind words re my BFN. I have been lurking and have found great comfort in your support

Daisie - how are you going. Where are you up to now?

Seph - I am so sorry about your BFN and that painful AF is adding to your woes. Hang in there, you will get there. Going to blast may be a good plan and hopefully you will have your BFP by the end of the year. However, a holiday may bring on some nice relaxing vibes for your 2ww. No way should you consider your posts hi-jacking. We all need to vent sometimes.

Jasminstar - with you in the Chocolate department. I go through stages where I can't get enough of it (am finding it particularly comforting right now) How did your BT go today?

Juniper - Are you still on a 4 month plan? How often will you be having acupuncture?

Loops - Great to hear that your EPU went well and you had such a wonderful result. Glad to hear that you will be able to make it to your ball. It is wonderful that you have such a lovely tradition to honour your sister. Good luck on Sun

Taurean78 - Hope you are surviving the new school term. This was my timesline for this cycle
    26/6 Started stims
    2/7 1st Blood test
    3/7 1st Ultrasound
6/7 Blood test (Stopped stims - very high estrogen - 15000)
    7/7 2nd Ultrasound - trigger pm
    9/7 EPU
    11/7 ET
Hope this helps give you an idea. Sorry I did not have Lucrin so I can't help you there. Good luck for Friday's BT.

Emerald Star - I bet you are relieved that ET went smoothly. How are you feeling? Lots of sticky vibes to you.

mitf - How are you feeling today? Have your symptoms calmed down a bit. Hope you survived the outlaws.

Krikit - I'm sorry but I haven't had any experience with luveris. I hope you get some answers.

Vira - Did you manage to get an appointmenT with your Gynaec? How longe after surgery do you need to recover to get to your next step? Hopefully this will be the break through that gets you over the line.

Baby2Bee - Day 2 of your new campaign. You go girl!

Mrs P - Good luck with this cycle. I know the feeling re avoiding others. Just about every one of my friends is either pregnant or has had a bub in the last 12 months. I'm not kidding, it would be about 90% of them - I suppose it's just how it is at this age and it just feels a bit more blatant when you're TTC

    I hope I haven't missed anyone, if I have, I'm sorry.

AFM: AF settled in on Sat, however has not been nearly as heavy or painful as expected. This is the 1st period in 20+ years that I have not had to take Naprogesic, so FS wanted to take BT just in case. BT today confirmed BFN.

I will start the pill this week, will need to notify FS when next AF arrives and will take medication to regulate cycle for FET (otherwise could be waiting up to 50days for AF)

    Just (another) waiting game...

    TO EVERYONE.

    Hi everyone,

Krikkit - Sorry I can't help in relation to Luveris. I hope someone can help you.

Vira - At least they are trying to get to the bottom of your problem now. I have that you get an appt really soon so you get some answers.

Baby2Bee - That's so exciting! . I am sending you sticky vibes. Let us know how you go.

Seph - you learn something new about this merry-go-round all the time! I had no idea about that legislation. Not a bad idea asking for a different protocol too. Your FS sounds like a very caring and sympathetic professional.

Mrs P - welcome back and sorry to hear that Round 1 was unsuccessful for you. Good on you for getting "back on the horse" so to speak. I hope you're responding a bit better now to your stims. I also understand what you mean about avaoiding pg friends and babies. If I were to do that, I wouldn't see any of my friends! And I wouldn't be able to go to work either with all the parents of the kids I teach. There are so many pg bellies there and 4 pg staff atm!

Jasminstar - that sounds like a good number of follicles. I really hope that your est levels lower and that your cycle goes ahead. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling great.

Mitf - glad to hear that you are feeling much better and now it's just clock watching. I feel the same - biding time.... but getting excited and optimistic.

Daisie - how you're doing well on your stims and that DH is back? Thinking of you.

Loops12 - It sounds like your EPU went well. Make sure you take it easy and really take care of yourself over the next few days. with the cell division and with your ET.

Tantee - Thanks for all the info. I am getting my head around the timings a lot more now. I have BT and US on Fri and then again Mon and then EPU estimated sometime between Wed & Fri next week. I am so glad you have found comfort in the support offered on BB. Keep strong and I hope AF doesn't get too painful for you.

Emeraldstar - with your TWW. Hope you're feeling well and please, please, please don't cave with a HPT!! Mitf is right when she says they can dash your hopes. I know you'll do what's right for you though

I am feeling quite good too. Just trying to treat myself nicely. Eating well (apart from the odd Nutella dip!) and having a warm bath every night (not too hot - can't raise core temp). Feeling like I need a lot more sleep than usual so I am going to bed an hour earlier and getting about 8.5 - 9hrs a night. Starting to get a bit impatient and i'm looking forward to the US on Fri because it will all seem a bit more real then.

to all and apologies to any I have left out.

tantee, I'll be going to acu once a week until we start our next IVF cycle. I'm having trouble deciding whether to wait the 4 months or not. If we wait 4 months we'll definitely only get one more in this year and there's a real risk we can't afford it next year so it feels like we'd only be doing it once more ever. But if we push to fit two more in this year: 1. it means we don't expect the next one to work (so why bother?); and 2. putting extra stress on my body by doing back-to-back cycles again may make the second of those cycles less likely to work. I guess I'm leaning toward waiting and doing our last hurrah so that we've given it our best shot if it's going to be our last. Plus that way I'm not going through this over and over again when I no longer actually believe it will work.

Loops - way to go! Thats a great result. GL for Sunday.... I am so excited for you. Can't wait till the BFP's start rolling throught.

Tantee - feeling pretty good thanks. The inlaws were ok actually, they only stopped for a night on their way down south and it went better than expected. Good news that AF is being nice to you this month and GL as you prepare for your next FET.

Taurean - sounds like we are on a very similar schedule. I have my BT/US Mon and EPU will probably be next Friday. We will be able to count down on the TWW together!

Juniper - GL with the tough decisions. It sucks that the Medicare changes adds another dimention that has to be considered. FX that you will only need one more stim cycle anyway.

Hi to everyone else - a little for you all.

    Hey Ladies,

Thank you for your comments and thoughts. Just thought I'd respond to Jasmin, but thinking of you all.

Persephone1 you said you had mild OHSS - is this what happened to you? Has this happened to anyone else?
    Hi Jasmin,

I did have mild OHSS. I was tired and couldn't sleep - felt like I had lead balloons in my belly, with my ovaries heavy and bobbing around in there. I don't remember having any hot flushes BUT it was the middle of summer, so I was generally hot and bothered anyway.

I had scheduled some time off for the last week leading up to EPU, so I was able to take it easy, lie under the air conditioner and watch movies.

I hope you're feeling okay - drink plenty of water. I hope you can get some sleep as well - I had real trouble in that last week, but without a good rest I became very grumpy and emotional. It was like heaven after the EPU when I could roll on my belly again.

Good luck - take it easy! And don't worry too much about it (I know, easier said than done)
