    I'm Baaaaaack!

    Hi!

AF finally arrived finally! it was 6 days late!

I start another stim cycle this month - I never thought I would be happy about jabbing myself, waiting around for past month feeling unproductive drives me batty!

Has anyone got any idea side effects on how lucerin and Gonal -F are different to orgalutran and puregon (hormone, weight, mental state!?)

Good news, my day 21 follical scan has jumped from a D grade to B grade.

good luck to everyone - babydust

    hey girls

Thanks to Dusty for sending me in here, I have posted in the main section. This month marks my very first IVF cycle, I started my first dose of Synarel today...ugh horrible stuff. I am very cranky lol, but I think that maybe normal PMS

I have been reading through some of your posts and have already learnt so much just from reading, but I feel I still have a long way to go, so I hope you all dont mind if I continue to hover around

    Welcome Tracy

    Hey Tracy,

Welcome! It is a great site with lots of great girls and loads of good information and support! I have been reading now and then since I found out I needed IVF and only just started posting now that I started my cycle.

I'm on my first down reg cycle and started synarel on Aug 29. Just started gonal injections 3 nights ago - just did my 3rd and they are pretty good still! Didn't feel a thing tonight. But Dh is doing them for me - I really don't think I could inject myself.

I'm still on Synarel - twice a day, some days it is worse than others - the taste & all. But overall I don't think its too bad - although I have had a headache for 2 weeks now & am certain it is due to that.

I'm doing ICSI too! Are you in Melbourne by chance? I'm at Melbourne IVF.

    To Loops

    Hey Loops,

Sorry ... I missed your last post. Sorry to hear that you din't have any backup's- that is really hard to take Please don't apologise for the negativity! I'm not sure how I would be holding it together at all.

There isn't much else I can say and nothing that makes it all better - but I hope something comes along to change the finance's and you get to have another go real soon when you are ready.

Seeing all the stories of all these ladies having to go through many cycles and procedures it makes me so upset about how expensive it all is and how there is so little government support for it all.

    Anyway - try stay positive.

Talk about timing!! I'm madly pumping myself with Oestrogen for next Saturday 22nd and packing up my entire house to move out the following week on Saturday 29th in preparation to start extending our home (DH is close to useless as he's really busy at work so I'm doing the lot on my own!!) So much excitement with all this action.....i just don't want to over-excite myself and get stressed out!! What does everyone do to de-stress and chillout?

Red face 1st IUI - what to do now......

    hi Everyone,
Been TTC 7 years now, just had our first IUI treatment, procedure went well & was easy.... but what now? I've been reading some other Topics on here, about couples who have had injections throughout cycle, and then trigger. I had clomid days 2-7, the u/s day 10 - 2 good follicles - Had Ovidrel on day 12, had IUI on day 13 (cause clinic not open on saturdays). Where to now? Is it just the waiting game, and are cramps normal? Not big bad cramps, it's more like a dull ache across belly.
Was I meant to ask FS how big the follicles were? And is there any signs ovulation/implantion happened?

Sorry for so many questions, I'm just nervous I guess.
    Thanks everyone.

    Wishing evryone the best
    xx

Emerald Star - Hi great to see you popping in. Yes on the dread 2WW... BT isn't due till Mon 24 Aug. Found out a friend of mine was pregnant day after ET which sent me a little loopy. I have calmed down again now and have doing much better today. Trying to stay optimistic but also a little scared that things might not work out. Taurean's BT is due the same day as mine and I think Jasminstars is looking like it will be Fri 21st Aug. Fantastic news that you will be starting your next cycle in Sept. I wish you all the best, you were so close. this next time will be your well deserved BFP.

Collins girl - Welcome to BB. It's a great place to seek advice and support. Sounds like you are also on the dreaded TWW. When is your BT? Often your clinic will tell you how big your follicles are, I think they should usually be about 18-20mm when you trigger. You don't want too many follicles on IUI so 2 or 3 is usually great. Ovulation / implantation is different for all women. Some say they can feel themselves ovulate and some get a small amount of implantation bleeding, spotting. Tender boobs or cramping might be due to your changing hormones and the meds in your system, or they may be a sign of implantation. Apart from that - not much to do but try and stay sane while you wait for your BT. Easier said than done though. Wishing you all the best. You should come join us in the TWW - here is a link :
    ltttc-two-week-wait

BabytoBee - sounds like it is going to be crazy!! To relax I like to read, have a bubble bath or even go for a walk to clear my head. Doesn't sound like you will have much time for that though. All the best for the move and treatment.

Loops - good to hear that you managed to get an appointment with the FS so soon. I hope you new plan of attack will come in to play quickly.

Tracey - Welcome, hover away and feel free to ask any questions. GL with your treatment.

    Hi to eveyone else.

    Hi & Thanks mitf.
I have no set date for BT, am I meant to? I was just going to wait for AF, so as not to see a BFN, cause that hurts
I will come & chat on the other thread as well. - could take me a while to get the terms of abbriveations, lol.

Hello everyone. Just been catching up on all the posts.

Hope everyone is well and I wish you all the best of luck with wherever you are respectively at with your cycles

Colinsgirl ... ... you will certainly find the answers and support you are looking for here. Sorry I can't help, but I am not quite at the stage of most of you. I am awaiting a lap on 20/8 and then depending on results, will move to IUI/IVF (have even been considering trying naturally until the end of the year and then moving to AC, but just depends on lap results and what FS thinks). Best wishes for your 2WW, I hope you are one of these first time lucky IUIers

    Take care everyone.

    Hello

    Hi there girls,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone and let you know that I am still thinking of you all while I am in the TWW.
Hanging in there, feeling very bloated but by and large, pretty positive.

Emerald Star - BT is on Mon 24th but nurse at FC mentioned that it could be moved forward to the Sat 22nd if I get any spotting or am really stressed out!

    Hope you are all well.

    to all.
