    Hi all!
Wow n2l- that's great news!!! Fx'd for good numbers!!!

I had my progesterone level checked today (7dpo) and it is 75.2... Does anyone know what it should be and if this is high or not???

jo - they usually look for anything over 20-30, so 75.2 is very good. i had a progesterone level in the 300's once, so it can get higher - but high progesterone is not a problem, its a good thing. goodluck.

N2l I have never heard of that but I imagine recovery would be a little slower if they do a laparoscopy since it is in through tummy. I hope they dont have to do that but if they need to for the eggs then I guess it would be worth it.
What a yuck time for a trigger :-(
    Good luck xo

DR just called me.... Only 2 other embryo's made it to day 5 freeze.
So out of 10 eggs collected- only total of 3 made it
This has made me really sad!

On a side note- if they weren't looking good- why not freeze at day3?
    What's the difference?

Emma I am so sorry you lost some more. I think it depends on the clinics and what they think is best at the time depending on each individual circumstance. I am hoping you won't be needing the ones in the freezer. I agree with Amy jellybean don't be to hard on yourself. I ask my clinic everything so I can understand the divisions they make.
Maybe have a chat to them and they might be able to explain why they wanted them to go past day 2/3.
Sending you a big hug xo

Emma that actually sounds pretty good by my FS standards!! He said that you might et about 10 - 12 eggs in the first place, and 8 might fertilise and then you'd get two or three embryos that were okay for transfer!! So far, I have only had one cycle where there were leftovers, so you're doing pretty well to get three to day 5! I know it doesn't change how you feel right now, and maybe you've had more in the past (I can't recall your previous hauls!), but it reality that sounds like great numbers xox

N2L -lap OPU sounds annoying!!! Hopefully you don't have to do that, but if it brings in a bigger load then - well, I guess it's just another in the long line of sacrifices you have to make for the little blobs Hope you feel better soon - glad there's no OHSS signs.... I'm all good here too... just really sore belly - but makes sense with 8 follicles at 2cm diameter in each ovary!!!

Kerbear - hope you are feeling okay about everything I assume that if they get everything and suck it all out you'll be right and avoid the OHSS.... it feels pretty crappy, but I got the signs after EPU - the next day my belly up higher - right under ( . )( . )'s was very tight and sore - then just got worse because of the pregnyl... needless to say I have avoided the pregnyl this time - back to the crinone for me!!!

Jo - yeah my nurse told me when I had my BFP that anything over 30 was great - at the time I was 720!!!! so looks like you are lined up for a successful month - all going well!!

kbudgie - sorry it wasn't the news you wanted, I hope the FS has a good plan for you x

AFM - trigger done... I'm first on the list for Wednesday EPU, so we have to get there at 7am!!! painful! Now at least that they are doing all the procedures at the Mt Waverley site, I at least don't have to go into the city to get it done - which is much better
Going to ignore all the dramas happening with my dad this week and just focus on me and DH.... (well, at least I'll try!)

Hope everyone else is going okay

Thanks my turn, has some weird pains in my sides today near my ribs, feeling crap and sore and just hope my gut feeling that it's only going to get worse is wrong. I just feel very different this time and it's off putting.
Sounds like you have a good focus this week away from your family and what's going on with them. Yay for trigger, hope you do ok and get lots of good eggies :-). Glad you don't have signs of ohss this time xo

I am feeling uncomfortable tonight. It's been good up until now

I wonder if it was all the pushing and prodding with the ultrasound.

Eta - forgot to mention, I actually have 33 follicles!! 17 on right, 16 on left. Just 18 that are over 13mm.

Thing is though, the woman who found them all today with the external scan, did an internal scan immediately after. She could only see two on my right ovary using the dildo cam. Mind you, she wasnt looking hard.

She said to always ask for an external scan in this situation.

It's amazing isn't it! If I get eight eggs I will be rapt! My biggest haul to date is four!

I'm just so excited for you! To have a few 'leftovers' will be awesome!!! I know you are nearing the end of your journey, so to come out of a stim cycle with a couple of options is just the best best best news!!!!

weird about the dildo cam thing.... they do have some trouble seeing one of my ovaries, and the nurse today said she wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of hidden ones in there that she couldn't see... but there's big black holes on the screen - and even with my untrained eyes I can see them! With all those follicles n2l, i seriously think you will get a few more than 4!!!!! hopefully 4 embies for transfer!!!

    Excellent numbers N2L

Fingers crossed for N2L and Myturn

Thanks myturn, your post made me feel better and thanks Amy for popping in.
I just felt sad cause I think that EPU will be my last, it's hard on my DD and DH.
Last time I got 7 eggs and 3 made it to day 5, so 3 must be a lucky number.
Hopefully I won't need another EPU, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Thanks for the support ladies xx

Emma you've had a tough year, so be kind to yourself. I know you probably don't want to hear this (but I can't help myself, and I will say it anyway ) ... you have heaps of time sweetie - you can save up for another cycle in a couple of years if this one doesn't go the way we all hope it does for you xoxo I hope you don't need to, but there is that option.

Try not to get too far ahead of yourself, just stay in the moment Enjoy it while it's happening, because if it sticks, you will want to remember every joyous step in it's beautiful entirety.

    xoxo

Thanks Myturn- my voice of reason

It's not the money, it's the emotional and physical energy it takes for a stim cycle- I find them really hard

I wish none of us had to be on this journey- it sucks

    Sook over for tonight

That's for sure.... (but it's surely hard not to be hopeful!!! ..... I can feel all my claims about thinking this cycle is not going to work disappearing and the excitement of the good follicle count bubbling away ) perhaps my mood is rubbing off on you....
