    deep breath...................

it's a hcg is 86, they said they're happy with anything over 80 so i'll get a bt done on sat for peace of mind. progesterone over 200 and should be between 30 and 100 in first trimester, so that's good.

thank you for all the support and all the enquiries today. good luck to you all, and may you achieve your dream in the not too distant future. xxx

Well just heard from repromed. First BT tomorrow, they expect me to ovulate on around the 12th and transfer 5 days after. Ok got my head around that.

Just can't get my head around weather any of the 3 frosties will survive.

I know I can't control it, and I think that's what makes it so worse. Do I just accept defeat or do I get my hopes up and have them shattered. They again asked if we want to put 2 back. Like I told her let's just get them to thaw first.

Thanks so much all you guys for listening to me, sometimes it helps just to get it off my chest.

    Unhappy 3dpo Update!

Only a quick one as not too happy.

    Call from the scientist nice and early today with the following results;
    - As we know, 7 fertilised normally
    - 2 x 8 Cell Embies Grade 1
    - 2 x 7 Cell Embies Grade 1
    - 1 x 4 Cell Embie Grade 3
    - 1 x 1 Cell Embie Grade 3
    - 1 Embie that is degrading

So dont know that to think about all that. The thing is though, she had to add in that "not many embryos make it to day 5". That was the clincher for me. Way to make me happy NOT.

Hi Emerald and all you lovely ladies,

I've just posted in the TWW but to give you all the update- I'm out.

I did a HPT (that was supplied by the clinic) on schedule yesterday and although I'd been feeling a bit doubtful for a few days, the BFN has really devastated me. AF has also arrived so no BT for me today.

For those who have read my post in TWW I apologise for repeating myself but what has added to my devastation is that I had been holding on to the hope that I would be able to go straight into a FET cycle should this one fail. I had no side effects or problems during the stim cycle so thought that physically I would ready. When I rang the clinic with my results yesterday, I told the nurse we were keen to move into a frozen transfer asap but she said that the FS likes you to have a month off after a stim cycle so more than likely I will miss out on the last transfer date for the year (Dec 18) and we will be looking at January. I just can't believe I'm staring down the barrel of another Christmas without a baby/pregnancy.

Sorry for the downer- I'm just really struggling at the moment. I sincerely hope you're all doing better than I am right now.

    xx

    Hi Ladies

Hope you don't mind me dropping in. I've been posting on the other 2WW for a while and just lerking around here.

xx Rob xx just wanted to say try and stay postive and not worry about the thawing process I pray that you get to have at least one FET transferred as we all know its only takes the 1

Emerald Star I love your wall of fame it gives me quite a bit of optimisim

AFM start my testing on Tuesday with a scan on Wednesday so hoping to have an FET late next week.

Thanks for your positive assurance Loops.

I can only assume that the 7 and 8 cell embies are good but like you, I too am not up on all that detail. This is my first EPU. Just have to calm down and keep my FX.

Airline - that is such gret news!! I'm just quickly popping in to see if there were any results and that gave me goose bumbs! You must be so excited and pinching yourself at the same time! Stay healthy and rested!! And we would love an update post now and then!! Yay!

MHIC - You're on day 3 though and you still have a few on the go so that is a good thing I reckon. GL either way!

AFM - started on Synarel this morning once again - morning and night - so lovely.. NOT!! But at least it kind of feels like I'm doing something. I actually can't wait to get to injection time and then EPU - just want to get there and get lots of eggies! FX.

Hi to all you other lovelies - hope you have had good weeks and for those in Melb - enjoy this superb weather we are having! Makes me smile!!

7 and 8 cell embies are good
6-8 cell at day 3 is spot on and you've had more than half make it that far so hang in there!!

My results were pretty ordinary ... I'm excited to finally have some explanation after 2+ years on the assisted conception journey ... answers but perhaps not the ones we wanted!!

    #1 - 3 x chromosome 21 = downs
#2 & #3 - 1 x chromosome 22 ??? not sure what that means but I guess 1 copy is just not good enough when you need 2 to make a baby!
    #4 - inconclusive

So we're going with a transfer of "inconclusive" #4 tomorrow if it makes it to day-5, otherwise our last frozen blast from IVF#1 cycle. Not a particularly convincing plan of attack, but at least with all our failures my body has proven that it's pretty good at quality control on these dodgy embryos we're spitting out!!

    Hi Everyone
I am new on here so i thought i would just do a quick intro. DH and I are just about to start our 4th ICSI cycle (due to PCOS and male factor). We have been trying for #1 since Jan 2007 and hope like all of you that we are not trying for much longer. From what i can see you all provide amazing support for each other and i hope that i can be a part of this too! Good luck everyone
