Gah! Two embies are borderline and will get until tomorrow morning to pick up - only at early blasto stage. One is definite freeze material though so at least we will have one snowbaby/frosticle/icechild.

Update: one of the uncertain ones blasted this afternoon so we now have two on ice.

Miss B, hope the training goes quickly and easily for you rather than tiring you out too much and good luck.

Murraycod, FX the witch comes soon so you can get started. You go give her a good telling off when she does arrive though.

Beau, how is the tww treating you?

Sarah, love that you got a dance in on moving day hope the settling in is going well.

Rosemary, how are you feeling today? Any better? Were you able to talk to the nurse?

Juniper, one week down. How are you holding up?

Wish and dream, hope you are holding strong. Good luck.

Hi to everyone I've missed. Sorry for the lack of persies lately, it's hard on the phone

Miloro great news you have 2 snowbabies!!!! Will you transfer them both?
I had a chat to my FS last week, we have 3 snowbubs, and he agreed that if the first emby doesnt thaw, they will thaw the last two and have two transfered (if they both thaw)
I do not have any great feelings with our FETS. No confidence in them at all.
The first in Feb we lost 7 embies during thaw, and had to thaw one the morning of transfer, didnt work.
Second FET in March we thawed the remaining 5 the night before and only one survived, that one didnt work either.
They were the same cycle we got our baby girl Alexis from.
We got 23 eggs, 19 fertilised and 1 transfered, 12 frozen (one already frozen still from our first IVF) making 13.
Honestly, you would think having that many in the fridge, we would have the rest of our family with them, but nope, nothing.

This cycle,(3rd stim) we got 26 eggs (with less puregon), 13 fertilised, had 1 transfered.

Id love to just thaw all three but FS sain nope try one first, than the other two.

Obviously we have quantity not quality in our embies.

    Beau30, huggs X

Arohanui, I think you need to have written 50 posts and been registered with BB for more than 30 days. You might be able to bypass those requirements by paying for a platinum membership though? I do remember it felt like it took forever to reach 50 posts...

Hi, just wanting to introduce myself although I have spoken to some of you already in the endo forum. I have now officially started IVF and am on CD2. Started on Synarel yesterday. I had a lap almost 4 weeks ago for endo so now I'm hoping for some success with IVF. I'm feeling very positive at the moment and very excited but anxious about all that is to come... Due to have blood test on the 5/11 and hopefully start injections the following day. I have an estimated week of 19/11 for embryo transfer so hopefully all goes to plan. Any advice etc would be greatly appreciated...

    Hi Juniper,

My Menstrual cycle date is 28days, this is my fourth cycle for IVF, I have 8 Embryos and transfered two on date 5. I don't have any frozen embryoes in any these four cycles. Could I ask what it is "DP" and "DT" means? Thanks

    Hi there!!! :)

    Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself! My name is Jo and I am 29... My DH and I have been TTC for 10 years and so far have had no luck! I was diagnosed with PCOS at 19 and we are just about to start our 1st cycle of OI (using Puregon) after trying chlomid 3+ yrs ago and having no success...

Hope to chat to you all soon!

    xx

    Welcome Faye and Jo.

Faye, the best advice I got from the lovely ladies here with snarl is to have something on hand to drink or eat, it really helps with the bad taste. I found mentos lollies good.

Murraycod, my clinic will only transfer one at a time unless egg levels are low or you are over 35. So only one. I'm gonna make hubby bd like crazy anyway, you just never know...

    Best wishes to all.

    Wow... so many new people!!!

Hi Jo I have PCOS too, but was only diagnosed when I didn't get pregnant after 12 months - we have been trying for nearly 3 years now

Hi Rosemarry - just keep posting in all the different areas of BB, and eventually you will make enough posts It does feel like ages, but you will get there

Hi faye - welcome, hopefully you are not here for long. Good luck!

Good luck Wishanddream - hopefully good news is coming you way.. FX

    Arohauni - Welcome!

Murrycod - I guess you only need one! and there is no reason why this cycle won't be 'the one' for you! GL!

Beau - sorry about the BFN

Miloro - hope the little embies are still doing their job, and you can be on track for an ET soon xx

Miss B - as always, FX it's your turn

Juniper - you are doing a great job of the list - hope things are going well for your cycle too.

me4ever - hope you are doing okay.

Sarah4Kurt - here's hoping your "OI" cycle is "the one"

Vic - good to hear you are looking at your options, but I am still hoping there's another BFP in your future... still it's a big decision, I am sure there is a lot you can offer for children in the foster care system. My best friend has a foster child in a permanent care situation, he has a physical disability, children who are often harder to place, but he is lovely and a really good addition to their family.

N2L - always thinking of you and hoping you are next

AFM.... sorry I have been a bit MIA lately, so many new names and things to get my head around! My FS appointment has moved to next week (15th Oct) so glad, as the waiting is driving me batty - Feels like AF is NO WHERE in sight ;( it's 34 days since my curette, tomorrow is exactly 5 weeks, and I am supposed to be 14 weeks pregnant anyway, I am feeling okay about it - so much going on with my family that it's pretty hard to even think about TTC. Just when I thought I was getting my head around things and feeling a bit more stable, the **** went and hit the fan... but anyway..... I will see the FS as a follow up from the curette on monday, and talk about what other things I should be/could be doing.... and then talk about when to do the next cycle... I was thinking something over the Christmas break would be good. Here's hoping I can lose a bit of weight in the meantime.

thinking of you all always xox and stalking every day (on my phone though, so sometimes hard to comment!!)

Jo, hi and welcome! If/when you want to be added to The List, just let me know where you are in your cycle. GL with the puregon!!

faye, my advice is to break the cycle down into steps and just take it on one step at a time. Don't start your synarel worrying about the beta, just worry about taking your meds on time. Don't worry about how many embryos you'll get while you're doing your stims - just worry about taking your meds on time. Don't worry about EPU - honestly, that scared me the most for our first cycle, but it is actually the easiest part! Just take on each stage as it happens rather than worrying about the one you're on and the next 3... And ask us as many questions as you like.

MC, FX you are surprised by your FET outcomes. My FS says you have a good chance with FETs if the embies come from a pregnancy IVF. Lol, then I had to point out ours came from a BFN IVF... Oh well...

myturn, yay for an earlier appt! I keep having those "we should a newborn" thoughts (especially since DD started saying "baby" this week, out of the blue - breaks my heart every time , but I have to remind myself that "should" is the wrong word. She was never meant to come home with us. I have to make sure I change it to "would have if things had been different" and then remind myself that they weren't different. I do find I think those "should" thoughts less often now that the due date has passed, but I still think them...

Afm, pretty sure I'll be back here in the next few days... Someone else will have to get our first BFP for the month!

    Hi Juniper!
I would love to be on the list! Currently i'm mid cycle but due to my irregular cycles and the results of today's internal u/s, my FS has me starting a course of provera tomorrow (after taking a preggo test I know will be negative, it always is) to induce a 'fake period'... I will let you know when my new day 1 is!
Thank you to you all for making me feel so welcome!!! I am so glad I 'stumbled' across this site while I was researching Puregon!!! I can already tell this forum is going to be the thing that keeps me sane through out this process!!!

    xx
