Juniper, your FS sounds like mine He was quite happy to follow the same protocol as we had in 2008 as that's when we had a great cycle. Well, I had to convince him to try something new with the next cycle. I wasn't taking any crap this time! lol.

    Welcome curtysgirl!

i guess its back to IVF but im seriously thinking about doing Sharkeys healing centre for fertility herbs and such as well.
i think with this lil bit of endo and the dodgy curly damaged tube on my left wich has my better producing eggs on it means i need ivf.... dont wanna tho! just trying to firgure out how to come up with the money! LTTTC costs sooo darn much!!! im finding it hard to ever recover the bank balance!! it all costs i swear if you sneeze at the FS office that costs too!!

    Sorry to hear that Sarah

    Welcome curtsygirl

Thanks girls for all your positive vibes and having everything crossed for me. The lab rang this morning. 5 fertilised. 2 were immature. 2 didn't fertilise. We were both a bit stunned by that. We have been taking CoQ10, me for 3.5 months and DH for the last 2 weeks, plus he has had no alcohol for almost 3 weeks. I have heard that its the mens stuff that makes the difference between day 3 and day 5 so time will tell I guess. At least we should have something to transfer on Friday. I am still in a happy place. Much happier and hopeful before pick up anyway. And its great to know that I have done my last EPU. I hate doing them. Its so hard not being skinny I am feeling better today, still a little tender but nothing like my first two EPU's. I definately think I had OHSS those times, but just didn't know any different. This time feels like last time and I got my BFP last EPU so FX this it IT!!! Just have to pray that we got 2 awesome ones to transfer with something to freeze (not that we will need it !!!) I have done my biopsy and they are doing assisted hatching on one, so it should implant. Stick damn you stick! And grow...and come out alive in 9 months and not before Apparently I have to be more specific with the universe. Just saying I want to be pg is not enough

Good news on the fert rates Vic! Fingers crossed you get two to transfer

Does anyone know if it's possible to get OHSS while not doing a cycle. For the past 24 hours or so I have had "that" pain at the top of my stomach. It feels just like OHSS

    AF is due any day....

5 is great Vic, I'm relieved for you! : )

N2l - no idea re: ohss in natural cycle, wouldn't think so though. when I had it, it felt like heart-burn initially, any chance you get that?

Vic - I'm missing the "like" button! 5 fertilised is awesome. My legs, fingers, knees and toes are getting a good work out, keeping all of them crossed!

N2L - No idea about OHSS... I'm not having any treatment this month either and my belly has been feeling bloated and a bit sore, AF is coming in a couple of days too. Is that what you're feeling as well? Never know where the bloatedness comes from, will try to remember to ask the acupuncturist today what the deal is with it...

    Thanks guys.

This cycle has been weird. I knew I had a lot of estrogen being produced in the lead up to ovulation and just after because I had terrible metal mouth (always a sign for me). Then lots of pimples. Now this horrible pain and bloating. It is that indigestion/gas/heartburn pain and my stomach is harder. Just the same as OHSS

Hi N2L - about the bloating, I asked the acupuncturist about it and she said with me it was because I have endometriosis and the blood around that area is not flowing as it should, possibly due to hormones and that in 2nd part of the cycle and this causes bloating and pain. But I can't remember if you have endo? So it might be something else? Anyway bloating and pain sucks, am keeping my fingers crossed for you that it will go away soon...

    Thanks Me4ever.

I still have the pain I have slight cramps so I guess AF is on its way. It must just be bad indigestion or something.

Hi everyone, I am not going to attempt to catch up on persies while I have been away having a break but I will start them from everyones next posts.

Well I am back awaiting for AF to arrive, due towards the end of next week. We will be starting a new cycle with everything being thrown at this one as it will be our last if things turn out the same as previous ones. We will then consider Donor eggs with a very close friend of mine.
My protocol this time is huge... well in my eyes anyway. I will be on primolut, progynova and testosterone gel for about a month, then clomid and gonal f injections till epu. We are doing ICSI and an additional new thing PICSI which is more accurate with choosing the best sperm for insemination for the eggs. We dont need ICSI for sperm reasons but we had a couple have a few get in last time and reck the egg so fs suggested we do it this time. If we can then get the eggs to day 5 blast we will be doing a transfer using embryo glue and 2 embryos if we have them. Obviously the normal progesterone pessaries as well after transfer.

Hopefully everything goes to plan and transfer just fits in before the close for Xmas.

I am hoping that I am not to much of a hormonal cow from all the meds lol... Oh well DH will just have to deal with it.

I hope everyone is doing ok, and i am crossing my fingers that there will be someone who makes it into bfp in October list.

Kerbear - that sounds full on! I will be crossing everything for you, as I am sure you know xoxoxox If you are a hormonal cow, I am sure he will forgive you - it's all for a good cause.... I'm looking at a transfer around christmas too cycling together, yay!!
now, if I can only drop 5 kgs or something by then

n2l - I am sorry you are not feeling great I thought OHSS can only be if you have taken some kind of follicle stimulating hormone of some sort..... hopefully it goes away soon

Juniper - can you put me as waiting for AF or something?? I don't have a cycle day, not really..... but I am definitely hanging out for CD1 at the moment!!

to everyone else, hope you are all as well as can be expected xoxox

oh crap kerbear... just realised I was going to text you back on the weekend.... dummy...... too much going on I suspect will speak soon

Sorry, been distracted... Too many thoughts whirling through my head at the moment... On top of yesterday's disappointing FS appt, DH also got his cholesterol results (very bad), so trying to wrap my head around that too... Plus DH's mum is in hospital again for another cardiac "event" (details yet to be determined, but possibly a problem with the grafts from her bypass surgery earlier this year) and we still haven't heard how today's tests went...

My turn - lol figured you got busy, don't stress. Yay to cycling together :-). I am sure dh will be fine, he knows to just not say anything wrong during a cycle....
Hope af arrives soon for you

Juniper - sounds like you have a lot going on. I hope dh's mum will be ok and dh cholesterol can be sorted out easily.
Could you put me as waiting for AF thanks

N2l - hope you feel better soon xo
