Good luck Vic, fx to some nice mature follies.

Wishanddream, sorry I have no idea. I hope so for your sake.

Jo, I hope AF comes quickly for you. Such a weird thing to want in a TTC journey isn't it?

AFM, just got to Hong Kong, waiting for connecting flight. The clinic called and said my FS insists on sitting this cycle out. Again, because of my stupidly high E2 level they think I would still have cysts and don't want to risk anything. I understand why, it is just disappointing. And now I am crying in a foreign airport.

big Miloro - hope the flight was not too tiring and you get a bit of a rest tonight

wishanddream.... I too, have not idea sorry! for me, if I'm bleeding - it's bad news.... but hey - in this weird world anything is possible, right!? Can you call the clinic and ask what they think??

Good luck Vic - I am crossing everything for you!!! I know you are feeling apathetic, perhaps just try to keep a normal routine and relax as much as you can???

Juniper and Rosemarry (and anyone else who needs one...)

to everyone else... and all those stalkers that I know are out there...

AFM..... FS appointment today.... thinking about a cycle in late nov/dec - depending on AF.... Am hoping she arrives this week or next, so I can have that month off and start the next cycle when the next AF arrives.... decided to go with Antagonist this time, he has also put me on clomid to start as well, I think that's to help it all kick along a bit better He's also given me a script for Metformin - I asked him if that would be good to take to help with the weight loss for the PCOS, and he agreed that may be good... I was happy with that, as last time he brushed it off, but I don't think he realized what question I was actually asking, I think he thought I was asking about whether it would help with the fertility... and I know that if the clomid didn't work, the metformin wasn't going to........ final thing was he sent me off for all the extra blood tests.... 8 - 9 vials of blood someone else in here had that done recently I think.... I'm really glad he is trying some different things, and even though I am not as 'far along' the journey as they might usually do the extra bloods etc... he brought it up and was willing to do them. I did ask about implanting two embryos... but he said that we are probably not there yet... if I was older perhaps - but at this stage he is concerned that the risks for twin pregnancies is too high to go down that path at the moment... interestingly he did say that the pregnancy rate is the same for single or double transfers... ie... it takes the same number of embryos.... so if you transfer two, it might take three transfers... and if it's single, it would take six.... but the problems for twins are much greater and he didn't think the risk was worth it just yet. I am happy with that at this stage, I just wanted to flag the option and see what he says. He seemed positive about the fact that I got pregnant last time... so.... FX there's a chance for me soon.

But, even with the drama going on with my parents at the moment.... I'm feeling positive... I feel like there's a chance.... and while I would love to have three or even four kids... I know that I need to be happy with one... cause that's all I might get.... but, at least I will experience being pregnant, and have a little one of my own to enjoy. That's what I am going to hold on to at the moment.

    Best of luck Vic!

Sorry Miloro, that you have to sit this cycle out

My turn- it was me that had 9 vials of blood.... It was fine- they used that funny thing with the tube coming out of it.
Make sure you have something to eat beforehand

    AFM-
    Just plodding along...
I have had light spotting for 1.5 weeks now... It started 2 days after ovulation
Im supposed to have a contrast US- it needs to be done after AF.
    Is this my AF?
I need to get it done- so I can do a stim next month.
    Bloody stupid body

Hope everyone else is well x

    Good luck for today Vic!

I have finally stopped bleeding/spotting (only 2 weeks since I started). I am still assuming that it was my af 5 days post tranfer so am hoping I will get next af in 2 weeks so I can start another cycle. It's hard not knowing where I am in my cycle to try to plan for the next cycle. I work alot of overtime & am trying to make sure I don't have to do any once next cycle begins.

    Hi to everyone else.

Good luck Vic! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Myturn - have been on Metformin since February, only take 2 tabs a day, can go up to 3, but don't have to as don't have PCOS and luckily possibly thanks to this didn't OHSS with IVF. Still on it though, even with pregnancy they wanted me to continue up to 3 months into it. I haven't really lost any weight with it, although at the moment I'm 1 kilo under my normal weight, think it's more stressful situations at the moment than anything else. I do have a healthy weight, even though a bit heavier than I'd like to be... Just be aware they might give you diabetes and blood sugar spiel at the chemist... That's what happened with me, didn't have the guts to tell the hot chemist that it was to do with fertility problems... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your turn will be soon and that you will have your baby in your arms before you know it...

AFM just waiting for AF at the moment... Feeling pretty bloated, never a good sign, right? Still secretly hoping that AF will stay away and that we will have a baby by July next year... Definitely gave it a good try this month
