Nat, DW going well. She's in the big smoke (Sydney) at the moment with her best friend for a holiday they had planned way before we even knew we'd need IVF, and before we knew that the results would come through around the same time. So she's got a good distraction, and as I predicted she has bounced back fairly quickly.

I'm feeling a bit better today but found yesterday a lot harder than I thought I would. Coming back to work at lunch after getting the results was much tougher than I thought. I had to say goodbye to DW knowing she was going away for 3 nights and was stuck here with my own thoughts, so it's safe to say I am missing her a fair bit, but am pretty alright basically. I wish I knew whether it definitely was an early m/c or not. As I said the other day, the clinic said it was possible based upon all the signs, and she certainly seemed and felt pregnant. When things suddenly stopped on Friday (as far as symptoms go) neither of us really figured out what it might mean. I guess I feel a bit torn because I don't feel I really have a right to be upset about a m/c which may or may not have happened, and if it did happen it was very early and to some people I suppose it wouldn't really count. I feel like a bit of a fraud. My mate's wife had a m/c today at 8 weeks and in my opinion that would be much harder because they had longer to become attached to the baby. But I still feel like we lost something, and I really do feel she was pregnant, albeit briefly.

Anyway, I'm not making a lot of sense I don't think. But in general I'm feeling more optimistic today and looking forward to the FET.
