Brooke - all the best for your EPU tomorrow - how exciting!
I'm also an acupuncture fan, it helped me get through the last year of my PhD without having a break down I'm going to use the same guy during my IVF, as he specialises in fertility stuff.
Question for all you ladies - from my understanding, synarel is used to stop ovulation prior to the trigger - yes? Well, as someone who doesn't O normally, do you think I'd still need to synarel during IVF? I know I can ask my FS that (next appt is in a few weeks) but I was just wondering about it. Perhaps the FSH would actually make me O if I don't take the synarel.
I've got my final PhD seminar tomorrow morning at uni - eek! Hence I'm on here procrastinating instead hee hee. Can't wait til it's over. Had to get my hours up at work though so that I could take a few hours off for the talk (and morning tea afterwards) but luckily I only need to do about 5 hours at work tomorrow now.
We saw my parents on the weekend and told them about needing the IVF - they took it really well, thank goodness. Mum already knew about the OI but Dad didn't. DH wants to tell his parents this weekend, before we go on holidays on Tuesday - but we'll be seeing them at our niece's bday party which isn't really an appropriate setting. They know nothing about our fertility woes (don't even know we're trying). So we might try and see them before the party. I guess it means DH can relax more on hols knowing he's told them.
