I haven't been here for awhile, so firstly a HUGE congratulations to the ladies (four of us, I think) who got their positive result in the past month. You must be so excited, relived and grateful. Good luck on this next stage of your journey.
Onja and Emerald, thanks for your positivity, which I've been in dire need of. (And I haven't even really started on this rollercoaster ride yet! Just started the pill and have my first nurse appointment next week). After having a big fight (and making up) with DH this week, he very gently pointed out that there's always someone much worse off, that we should try to approach this as an adventure rather than a disaster, and that above all, we have to stay "tight" (ie, there for each other).
I hereby resolve to focus on, and be grateful for, the positives!
Just a quick question before I go off to bed. I have an US booked to look at my follicles (I think to determine medication dosage?). My referral says it should be done between days 7 and 14 of my cycle, but I can only get in on day 14/15. Do you think this will be a drama? If so, I will have to try to rebook at another place in a nearby town. Oh, the joys of living in country NSW!

Still not much to report at my end..... still waiting for AF to arrive. She is now 8 days late!! How long have other ladies waited for AF in the cycle off following a full stim? Feeling a bit like I am in no mans land at the moment.
Catlin - great to see you feeling so positive. I truly hope you find success on your adventure! Re your scan to look at your follicles - your clinic should be able to confirm but I would have thought that day 14/15 would be too late. As a guide I had my one and only scan 11 days after beginning Puregon and EPU was 15 days after beginning Puregon.
Tantee - All the best for your BT tomorrow. I had a chemical pregnancy on my last cycle which didn't even register on a HPT. that your HPT was a false negative and your BHcG has risen over the weekend
Juniper - congratulations again. GL for your BT Tuesday.... it's amazing to see miracles like this happen.
EmeraldStar - Thanks for your positive words of encouragement. I hope you get to make it to the October wall of fame! All the best for your EPU on Monday. I am praying that you get some great quality little embies. Oh and re your earlier Q regarding Taurean - we cycled together in August and she got a BFP. I think she still accesses this site but has moved over to the pregnancy treads.
MHIC - congratulations on your anniversary and having a DH who sounds delightfully thoughtful and romantic... (I will have to show DH so he can get a few ideas before our anniversary in Nov).
Coral - with the latest cycle I hope you find success and get to join the October Wall of Fame!
Nix - We have 3 little frosties. One of them is a hatching blastie so I really hope that one survives the thaw. Not sure why my FS wants me to do the pesseries but as you say all FS are different. I guess she just want me to have the extra support. Are you in an off cycle? If so are you having AF delays like me?
Goodvibes - and wishing you all the best on your TWW. I haven't done a FET yet but from what I have read some embryos get damaged by the freezing process so they then degenerate upon thawing. It is just luck of the draw. Some women will loose no embryos in the thaw but other may loose many. The actual thaw takes about 3 hours and it can be done the day before or the morning of ET. that this ones sticks.
Jilly - from me also. I am only taking Elevit at the moment but I am considering taking some Chinese herbs in my next FET which my acupuncturist has recommended. I agree that you shouldn't have to pay the full bill for your cancelled IUI and I would push the issue if they continue to try and charge you for the full cycle.
Edie - from me also. GL with the latest stim. I hope you find success this cycle.

I am back from Apollo Bay, where it was windy, raining and hailing! Much like the rest of vic so I have heard. Still had a great time though, went on the Otway Fly Tree Top Walk and it was fantastic.
I promised myself I wouldn?t get on the computer today, but I just can?t help myself.

Juniper76- The feeling a BFP gives you when you have been trying so long is fabulous, as my FS said to me when I had one ? You are a better candidate for carrying a baby to term now that you have had a positive test? Whenever I am feeling down I replay that comment in my head. I hope the levels keep rising.
Coral73- I started on stims last Wednesday, am just beginning to feel some ovary pain. I had the same problem with lucrin. Headaches have been very bad, though I have to say today is a good day.
Airline- Lucrin is an alternative to Synarel. It is a once a day injection, more expensive then Synarel though. I have used Synarel before and I couldn?t stand it. I also had a BFP while taking it and I shouldn?t have so they decided Lucrin was a better option. Apart from the headaches I am glad I am using it.
Goodvibes- Welcome good luck with your cycle sending some your way
AFM- Scan tomorrow, counting down the hours and hoping that I don?t have to be on injections too much longer.
Calin- Not sure how your cycle is working. I was on a long down reg as well. I had a scan the day I started the pill to check there were no problems in the ovaries. Then my next scan was 21 days later, that was the down reg scan to check that everything was quiet and that there were no signs of ovulation. On the day I had my down reg scan I started the GonalF.
If you call the nurse you have an app with she should be able to tell you what your scan is for. It sounds like it would be to check that there are no issues with ovaries like cysts before you start on synarel or lucrin. If that is the case then one day should not make a difference, but to be on the safe side I would try to get in a bit earlier.
I hope that wasn?t too confusing?.
Mitf - I don't know what is "normal" to get AF, but for me i had the pregnancy and then after all the black gunk had stopped i started the bleed all up it was about 1 week...maybe anyday now for you. Are you pretty reg otherwise ? Do you have any AF symptoms? Maybe pregggo???? (between cycles) I also hope you and all the other ladies cycling at the moment join me in that October wall of fame!
sonyalouise - How long do you have in your 2WW? we need to start someone with a BFP for our October wall of fame!!
AFM - Excited, but abit apprehensive at the moment...we'll see by lunch tomorrow what we got!
EmeraldStar - don't think I am preggers.... no, no symtoms. No AF symptoms either. I usually have a regular 28 day cycle - my system is obviously just struggling after the stim. My FS wanted me to have a month off so this will be my second bleed since my chemical pregnancy.
Sonyalouise - We are having the same wonderful weather in NSW - glad it didn't ruin your weekend and you had a good time away. for the scan tomorrow.
