Emerald - not sure if anyone esle answered it - but in regards to surge - it is only something I have learnt about this last cycle. So - just before you ovulate you 'surge' - i think it is a hormone surge that goes sky high and then comes down again when you actually ovulate. So the surge happens a day before you ovulate. They get you to pee on this test (not a stick but very similar to PG test) each morning and can be evening too and if you get the double lines you are surging - the day before ovulation. I am told it is only a 12 hour window of surging so it can be missed. I was only told to pee on test in mornings as most people surge in the morning, but towards end of the week I was doing morning & night tests cos I didn't want to risk missing it. Hope that helps. Airline - I am sure 3 hours is not too bad - but I woudl have just called FS as soon as you can to be sure. I think that is the only good thing about this whole expensive process - lots of FF points from the credit card spend!!! Hope you are doing OK.
Sonya - yeah doing an FET - frozen embryon transfer. We have 2 in the freeze and so we have actually asked for both to be put back. They have been monitoring my follies to try and estimate ovulation - but that as well as pee on test thing - that is what told us when i was ovulating. i think you can also monitor your temp - tho I have not been doing that. Altho my TCM Dr has been taking my temp and asked me if I had ben monitoring it. I now understand about the 2 follicles and how it canhapen. I spoke to another MIVF nurse on Saturday and i think whilst it is not really common it is not a big deal and not un-common - same as what you said.
Also - I know that would be dis-appointing to hear those results but maybe with the up of the inject your others will catch up and you will get more eggs. I had about 8 follies (that they could see) and they collected 5 eggs, 3 fert and that was my first cycle. We have the 2 in the freeze and asking for those 2 to be put back this week. I hope they at least still do your transfer - which sounds like they will - and if they only get 'x' amount - just focus your energies on that and hopefully it will be all you need anyhow :-)

Mummawannabe - thanks for your notes that is quite interesting - I never knew you coudl get 3! WOW! That must be intense feeling - I have noted this weekend that its almost like when i was stimming and I can feel my ovaries workign overtime it feels like. Didn't hear about that lady - and that is weird, I still don't get how that could happen!
AFM - Got the pos result for Ovulation test on Sat morning and again on Sat arvo, so ovulation took place on Sunday. Called MIVf and am in for FET on Tuesday. Called them again this morning to ask for 2 to be put back (as we have 2 frozen) after lots of discussion between DP & I and consulting my mothers thoughts. My FS is away tho and so now I am waiting a call from his fill in to see what he has to say. When I asked about it on Saturday the nurse said due to my age (33) and that we had only done 1 cycle and my FS being away another FS would be reluctant to transfer 2. But it is what we want to do so we shall see how we go. Our reasons are that we want to increase our chances as much as we can, and also financial as you all know it is so expensive going cycle after cycle (and we've only been round once). Also if both don't stick then we have time to get another cycle in (we hope). But we shall see what happens and will keep you updated.
