Hello Ladies,

Another new week is upon us....I am sure that this is good news for many of us who are anxiously awaiting the next milestone in our cycles...

lise ~ I have just saved this reply in word. I wrote a long reply last Thursday night only to lose the whole thing when I hit the "submit reply" button...aaaargg!!! Anyhow ? I hope your EPU went well today and everything is on track for the ET on Wednesday!

Nix~ The surge you are referring to is known as Luteinizing Hormone or LH. After detecting this surge you will ovulate within 24-36 hours. It?s important to do the test at the same time of the day and avoid drinking liquid 2 hours before the test as this can dilute your LH levels. Monitoring your basal body temperature (BBT) has to be done immediately upon waking up. By recording your BBT you can closely monitor when you are about to ovulate. A dip in temperature is the day you ovulate and a temperature spike following this dip confirms ovulation has occurred. The temperature increase is due to a surge of progesterone caused by ovulation. In addition to LH tests and BBT you can also chart your cervical mucous. However not that you will need to do any of this now because you have ovulated yay! I did all of the above for 3 consecutive months before surrendering to IVF. I wanted to give myself the best chance of conceiving naturally before attempting AC. GL with the FET tomorrow!!

Emerald ~ Great to hear you have two quality embies on board and I am sorry the others didn?t make it. Hope the TWW is going well and it?s not stressing you out too much!!! I love your little POAS countdown. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Sonjalouise~ Sorry to hear that you didn?t get the results you were hoping for on your first scan. Hopefully the increase in your dosage will speed up the growth of the other follies that are lagging behind and there will be lots of eggs for EPU! Hang in there and try to be positive.

Airline~ Glad to hear your BT results were perfect and the synarel is working according to plan! I have been taking synarel over two weeks now and over it. It?s making me all nasally and when I cough it sounds like I have the flu. GL with the injections! I have just started taking mine ? more about that in the ?AFM? section.

Tantee~ Sorry to hear you couldn?t start your next cycle as planned. Try to rest up and enjoy the month off.

Tracy ~ GL with your next cycle ? hope synarel treats you well!

Mitf ~ hope you are well ? not too sure where you are up to in your cycle ?sorry ???

Hello to everyone else who I may have missed !

AFM ? well a lot has happened since my last post....I had my first down reg scan and got to see my little empty ovaries. As there were no problems with my scan my FS gave the green light for the FSH at 100IU. I was very excited to be embarking on the next stage of my cycle until I remembered about the injections. The nurse advised I would have to inject myself at 8pm. So the next day I was counting down the hours when I was due to inject myself - eeek. My DH injected me on the first and second night. Then on the third night which was yesterday I injected myself and girls you are right they are not that bad! I have a one bruise ? which is the injection DH gave me and now my stomach looks like a pin cushion, but apart from that all is good. I have my first scan this Wednesday so we will see what happens!

Before I go, one last question - just wondering if your partners provide a sperm sample at the clinic or feel more comfortable doing this from home and then driving to the clinic.....
