Humphrey - I think the success rate differs because sometimes the frozen embies don't make it through the thawing process. This happened to me last October, both embies burst. The doctor did not have a satisfactory answer as to why this had happened, just, that it does happen sometimes. However I have drawn my own conclusions in that perhaps my embies were frozen for too long, as it worked fine for me this time and also as Trish has pointed out for many more. Don't worry about the success rates, sometimes I think they just pluck numbers out of the air.
Jo - I hope so - sometimes reading DR's and clinics stats are so depressing but uplifting hearing real life stories like you gorgeous girls in LT Preg forums.
Welcome Racheal -
Hi Chris - glad you joined us and see you have a date set for next FET.
Blue - how did you transfer go .I 've waiting to hear from you.
Ali - how are you ?
Hi Hayseed - good to see popping in
mmm :eat: what is for desserts for tonight - sticky banana & walnut pudding with caramel sauce and icecream
Humhrey - yum - our bodies need nourishment and lots of comfort foods in times like these
Hi Chris - now I feel very full and bloated - I hope I don't have gall stones my mum had hers out (in big operation but then) when she was about 30 When in November is the twins due date ?
My skinny mini friend had hers out @ 37 last year by laproscopy (after suffering 2 yrs with them on public waiitng list - despite having private health insurance - #-o ) - they said she got hers from her excessive weight loss she only lost about 15kgs and was skinny before weight loss - I lost 15kg the past year so I don't want to follow Mum or her :-s -
It is quiet in here tonight -
Do you remember me saying about PHI - my Dad told me yesterday $45,000 HCF paid out for him last year (long and many hospitalisation due to leukemia/chemo).
The public hospital has this liason officer that comes around and talks you into going private and says no out of pocket expenses - health insurance picks up the whole tab- the hospital -paid excess at start and gave him a free paper, television rental and voucher for cafe every day on top.
Fair enough if medicare only they don't see a cent and comes out of ward budget.
When i found out i had gallstones, i felt like i was having heart attack and pains in right shoulder and in back, that was after eating fatty foods.
Twins EDD was going to be 16 November.
If i get told (GP has confirmed it would suprise him if i dont) that they are stones coming out next year, i will then have to go on a very low fat diet and hope for best. If i am going to have children, i want to see the grandkids grow up.
My gallstones are from pregnancy hormones, i was told, (140cm weighing 42kgs), although i was 49kgs when preg and huge gut, i dont think i could have stretched anymore and poor babies were curled up in ball and not much more room to move. Pre preg weight was 35, i lost 14kgs.. wow mine could have also been from excessive weight loss too...
:-$ (Ssshhhhh) yes it is quiet.. LOL...
Went and got 3 trays to grow wheatgrass today,,, DH going to try it on dogs lol...
No. i dont recall you mention your dad.. sorry to hear that he not in good health... my mum is going through chemo also.. poor things..
Thank you for helping me with counter boxes and tickers.. Finally i set it up. Regards Chris
LMAO.. Are you sure your mum not my DH dressed in a skirt, he always likes to have a bit of bread with his butter... my stomach curls just watching him eat it... I am not sure whether to call his "mash patatoe", "mashed butter" EEERRRKK!!! ;P (no wonder i got gallstones)...
My DH family are all overweight.. his father died of heart attack. I worry sometimes about DH and his junk in take... and he smokes...

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and wishes for my FET. It all went well and the Dr was very happy with their quality. My BT is on the 29th - grrr 16 days!! DH & I went away for the weekend after the t/f, hence my absence. It was good to get away but am happy to be home. I'm like you Shazz - I set the reminders on my mobile phone to take my drugs. Otherwise I'd forget! (am hopeless).
