Joeve - wooooo for the action! Can't wait for you to join lonely Saffy on the bottom half of the list.
Andie - sorry, I'm an IVF beginner so can't help at all! I'm sure you'll get advice somewhere on BB though
Sunbeam - Sure - so you're IUI this cycle and Minnie's IVF? Is that it for this cycle? Oh and go on - have a little bit of chocolate! I've had it every day of AF and today tho AF is over!!! Oops!

AFM - I think I'm going with not trying, not avoiding this cycle. I don't want to use progesterone because that will delay AF by nearly a week!

Minnie how is the drug popping/jabbing going?
    Hello everyone else
Nothing much happening here I haven't done an opk or gone for my u's so I am going with the flow. Managed to get a bd in last night with some drama as neither of us could be bothered but we got there in the end. I think o was yesterday or today.. Or last night or somewhere hopefully!!!!

    Hi Girls,

Andie - Every clinic is different with regard to what they do with embies. I got 6 both times so they took all mine to day5 but I think my clinic has a preference for day5 embies. I think it would really depend on what the most recent research is suggesting at the time as to success rates with different days it all seems pretty pot luck to me. When you had your mc's did they test the babies for any chromosomal or genetic abnormalities? I don't really see why embies from different days should make a difference to whether you mc but again maybe the research has found something, I don't know. It is a tough choice. Did the other thread have any ideas for you? Are you doing FET this cycle?

Joeve - Love the laid back attitude . I just hope that by not having your u's done that you don't end up with 5 babies like that woman in Brisbane Good luck in the TWW.

Saffy - How you doing babe?

AFM - I have finally managed to motivate myself to get off my behind and get back into some exercise after 6 weeks of being totally lazy. Walked yesterday, swam this morning, walking again tonight, no stopping me now

He he Joeve, I'm hanging out for your quintuplet announcement! Is that the right word? Would you like me to make today or tomorrow 1 dpo for you on the list?
Sunbeam - you go girl! I'm going to buy all my veggie soup ingredients for soup diet and kick it off on saturday
Minnie - I hope you and your little boy are doing ok
    Hello everyone

I am just loving being drug and hormone free. I'd forgotten what it's like to feel normal. I have energy (despite working to all hours last night) and don't have that niggling headache I've had for about 7 months. I'd better not get used to it tho, ha ha!

mich- i found that last month when i was just on the pill, I was actually enthusuastic about work! But I'm back to normal now
joeve-how have you found the 100mg? Any problems?
sunbeam- you are energetic, well done! You will get more energy no doubt, love that you're excited about AF still lingering.
andie-blasties give a higher pregnancy rate, so I think that is a good way to go, go for it! At least you will know which ones are going to make it onwards rather than using them all one by one. In the past I have had 3/5 and 4/6 make it blast but they all made it to day2.
minnie- hope everything is ok with your boy??
tasha-still love your DH reading our posts and deciding to get his BT lol

afm- nothing happening, back at work now, not really had any symptoms but did a poas anyway just to see 2 lines while the pregnyl is still in my system ( did my last injection yesterday) haha, god how desperate can you be!!

    Next Thursday
Are they trying to kill me?!?, theres no way I will make it that long, I'm expecting a bfn so will test before that.
The bloating and wind.... yeah, I hear you......even DH is commenting on my wind which is rich coming from him I've never seen my stomach this bloated before pity there not a baby in there
Don't think i could do 100mg clomid, 50mg made me psychotic after 3 months. Glad you are a bit more sane on it! Good luck with this cycle xx

Next Thursday??? Holy cow that's ages away!! Sorry... No that will come around really fast lol. Imagine how many pee sticks you can do so much fun! Bfp coming I can feel it!
100mg hasn't sent me nuts yet although I wasn't happy when DH wouldn't just dtd last night I clamped my legs together in the end until he promised he really did want to do and it wasn't me carrying on for 10 minutes about why he HAD to! Definitely won't be taking it again though this was my last month!

    hi girls,

well what a crap week so far, my son is out of hospital, still not exactly sure what he has/had going on, he needs to see the orthopaedic surgeon in 2 weeks and needs another xray of his knee in 4 weeks, to make matters worse a friend collected my daughter after school (cause we were at the hospital) let her run and she had a really bad fall grazing her knee, hand, finger and worst of all her face, i was devastated that i wasn't there for her :-( i have had them both at the gp today for checks

so as sunbeam said (thanks for the update) i had to do my first injection in the emergency department, i don't know if i got it right, i could barely concentrate on it, im going for a blood test tomorrow so i'll guess i'll find out there if things are happening

so im a bit behind here

saffy: i still have my fingers crossed for you

joeve: yay for the 2ww, hopefully this is it for you !

mich: good to hear you are enjoying being drug free oh and you got RAK'd, yay for you !

tasha: wow you are tolerant to with your DH, that would drive me crazy, did all your police checks get done ? i can't believe some of you have to go through that

andie: sorry i can't remember your update but i hope you are ok

sunbeam: yay for the better af, hopefully it has done its job and you are off to a successful cycle

    hi to anyone i missed

Minnie - so sorry to hear about your DS, I hope you get to the bottom of it soon. And ouch for your DD, grazes are horrible! I'm sure your first jab was fine too

Joeve - 2WW! woohoo, good luck! What I would give to be in the 2ww ATM

Saffy - Only 6 days to go......hope it goes quick for you

Hi to everyone else hope your all doing well

AFM: I calculated that DH and I should have a bfp or a bfn in 8 weeks time Given I have the nurses app on 28th, start primolut, have AF around 13th March, start jabbing, hopefully O around 27th and then get a result around 10th April! Gawd, I need something to look forward to

EDA: My FS said that the procedure I am having is different from the dye test. He said that the catheter they will use is much smaller than the one used in the dye test. So it wont hurt like the dye one did for me. Anyone else agree?

tasha - sounds like you have it all sorted! 8 weeks will fly by and if your calculations are correct - you wont be in this thread for much longer! i hope that it happens exactly the way you have planned.

sunbeam - i had my first miscarriage tested as it required a d&c, although not for chromosomal abnormalities, FS just said tests came back normal. they didnt offer chromosome/genetic testing at previous clinic which is one of the reasons i switched. the second was natural miscarriage, so not tested. yes, i think i have decided to do a FET this cycle. its happening a bit fast, hadnt got myself ready for one this cycle, but why wait i guess. i wish they had grown them to blasty's after epu, rather than freeze them at day 2 first. oh well, cant do much about it now! well done on the exercise front, i havent done any at all this week.

saffy - thanks saffy, i think i will go for it, just anxious! you have good results for growing blasties, my FS has told me its about a 50% drop off rate - so you have done well in the past with your blasty rate. hope you arent going too crazy waiting for your BT.

minnie - hope your BT today shows that things are going as they should be. goodluck.

joeve - goodluck in the 2ww, hoping we can all join you & saffy there soon.

mich - i have loved being drug free for past couple of months too, you're right - you do forget how it feels not to be bloated & feeling crappy. i will just be on clexane & progesterone for this FET, so hoping not too bad. although that progesterone make me rage.

afm - start seretec's this weekend to look for ovulation, scan on tuesday to see whats happening in there. probably looking at transfer sometime next weekend if im lucky enough to get a blasty out of my day 2 embies... i really hope so!

OMG - I got RAK'ed!!!!! Thanks for letting me know Minnie. I've posted a huge thankyou to whoever the wonderful lady is in the thank you thread!

Minnie- your life is crazy right now! Lots of love to you and the kids Good luck with your blood test today - you need some great news

Joeve - I put you at 2 dpo in the list, so that way you can POAS earlier - ha ha ha ha Let me know if you would prefer 1 dpo. Sometimes I think ttc would be easier if we could just take our DHs/ DPs out of the equation. The time I got upset at DP for not wanting to dtd, I got locked out of the bedroom all night!!! So Joeve, I think you're doing comparitively well with DH, ha ha

Saffy - I don't blame you for POAS to see those magical 2 lines, I'd do the same.
Joeve and Saffy - definitely blame the drugs for the wind and give those DH's a taste of their own medicine, blame free!!

Andie - exciting, it's all happening for you now. I think you've made a good decision to do the FET this month. It seemed like your brain had already entered ttc mode again and you were already starting to feel anxious, so you might as well just go for it! Ooh, I really hope you get a blasty. My clinic tries to transfer blasties too but the thought of waiting 5 days to find out if there's something to put back is TERRIFYING!

Tasha - Sounds like the Easter Bunny will be bringing you a BFP this year then! I'd take that over chocolate any day - and I looooove chocolate, ha ha. Your clinic is really into making you wait and wait and wait for things aren't they? About the catheter - I was knocked out when I had the dye test but the IUI catheters haven't been a big deal. The first one took a couple of attempts but was only mildly uncomfortable and the second two were nothing Oh and one of the nurses told me that when you are ovulating, the cervix changes in some way that makes it easier to get the catheter through...

Hi Sunbeam - keep up that walking and swimming!

    Hey lovelies,

Joeve - Yes okay maybe 5 is a bit too many to expect with how lazy our ovaries are! If you do get 5 can you share them around ? Like I said before I did 150mg and still managed to not O, I think it only works well on some people. I hope your laid back attitude this cycle does the trick but if not and if this is your last clomid cycle what's next? I hope the TWW flies by.

Mich - I must be abnormal (okay so nothing we didn't all know ) but I never feel much affects from the drugs at all. I felt like c@#p through IVF but only because I got totally over stimulated, but then I never have had much effect hormonally to my cycle ever, just lucky I guess. Good job I'll be here all balanced to keep you all sane . Yes it is totally easier without a DH or DP I am in awe of how you girls hold your relationships together through TCC.

Saffy - I hope being back at work is not too rough. I would have tested too . I have my last positive test still int he bathroom draw just so I can pull it out and look at it sometimes. I get bloated heaps too but it is all fluid retention for me, got no one to annoy with wind anyway so it'd just be a waste !

Minnie - I hope next week is easier for you without any additional stresses or accidents Grow follies grow!

Tasha - 8 weeks!!! Holy c@#p you have the patience of a saint!! They say good things come to those that wait so you must be in line for something really good .

Andie - I will be sending out special vibes to your little embies I so hope they do well. Looks like we will all be heading to the TWW together again, bring it on!

AFM - The exercise is going good I'm feeling very committed. I got up at 7.30 this morning for my swim (cos yesterday's one at 9.30 did not give me much shade and I got sun burnt). Got back, had a shower, had breakfast lied down to rest for 5 mins . . . hmm 2 hours later woke up again !! Oppps! I really need a job! Oh well at least I did my exercise. Yoga tonight.

Mich lovely list chick can you pop me back 1 day to 1 DPO? Thank you x and yay for getting Rak'd! Go you!
Saffy I am going to try and be good and not encourage you to POAS...even when I really want you to I won't say it out loud!
Sunbeam well if I have 5 between my lazy ass ovaries and DH's dodgey swimmers I will probably die of shock.... LOL
Andie I will send some thawing vibes too so hurry up and get to that stage!!
Tasha 8 weeks flies by in no time x
Nothing much to add here, I never got a positive opk but then again I didn't do them every day but tried last night and tonight just so I could pee on something and barely a hint of a second line... oh well. I really hope something popped in there I will be scratching my head if I don't ov this month either as that has never been my real issue in the past. But does mean that all this time we assumed I was and maybe I wasn't all the time....or else clomid has messed things up. Anyway if this month doesn't work we are plunging into IVF land so thats the plan.
Gee I wish it would stop raining its lightening and thundering again outside....
