TMS how are you sweetie how is the quiet BFP going?
Hugs to everyone. I am thinking of maybe stopping the list? Its pretty quiet in here at the moment. I will keep it up if anyone wants me to? Let me know x
-
Minnie, I'm so sorry sweetie. Thinking of you and your family.
-
Joeve I'm happy for the list to go. I'm going ok, positives are still there but no darker or lighter. Still spotting but it is getting lighter every day. Lots of vomiting but I'm not sure it's related or not, under a bit of stress and slightly over emotional at the moment so I've put it down to that.
Really hoping the spotting and up chuck stop by Monday, we get back from camping Easter Sunday and the kids are on holidays for two weeks after that so if I don't have a AF by then I'll see the dr when they are back at school.
I don't feel at all emotionally ready to be pregnant again at the moment, my dads two sisters I only found out about in my teens and was never allowed to talk about have found me on Facebook so it's been a pretty full on week and bringing up lots of undealt with stuff from my child hood. I seriously can't deal with all this and the stress of being pregnant.
-
Hi everyone - I just took my last pill HOORAY so bring on af and my next cycle, it has been a long time coming.
joeve- I am fine with the list going as well, theres not a lot going on around here at the moment, so we can survive without it- thanks for doing it!
TMS- hope you are feeling better soon xx
-
Ok the list is gone :)
TMS hugs babe I hope this goes the way you want x
-
hi all., hope you had a great weekend. :)
joeve - im a bit late, but agree with saffy- its quiet in here and probably not needing the list at the moment. how is the sniffing going? ive done that for one cycle, the drip down the back of the throat is yuk.
saffy - yay for no longer being on the pill! hope your af doesnt keep you waiting to long and you can get started with your next (and hopefully last) cycle.
minnie - thinking of you.
hi tms, tilygirl & sunbeam.
afm - not much going on so havent been posting as much. been temping and ovulation is MIA (on cd23 at the moment), usually ovulate between cd16-20. hope its not bc of the herbs.. oh well, i will give them another month to sort things out - otherwise i might have to go back to being in a bad mood, but ovulating!
-
well I've been off the pill for 4 hrs no af yet....lol....not impatient much!! How about you Joeve??
Andie- is that the herbs rom the natropath? Hmmmm, not good to keep you waiting like that, did they improve your mood though? Thats got to be a good thing, maybe I need some lol
TMS- are you camping yet? Hope everything goes okxx
minnie- thinking of you a lot, hope you are doing as good as possible xxxx
afm- dh is in the doghouse at the moment, not sure if its him or my hormones! Starting to feel the familiar 'pressure' of a new ivf cycle, urghh, I think it might be my last one too so a lot of pressure, can't wait to go away for easter and relax.
-
Andie hope the herbs haven't eaten your egg :). No sniffing here my FS changed his mind again no idea why I am just going with the flow..... I am back to antagonist and have 2 lots of injectable drugs,
Saffy I have no idea I have had brown/dark red for 4 weeks now who knows! Its not full on yet so figure its not AF! I took my last pill Saturday night as I had been taking them at 9pm every night then nurse said I could stop yesterday! Surely AF should have been gone and I should be pregnant by now?????
-
saffy - yep, naturopath herbs. mood is better, but not sure if its bc of herbs, or just bc im trying something new... who knows! i hope your dh was able to come inside from the doghouse last night... i would blame the ivf drugs while you can, those hormones have got a lot to answer for. any sign of af?!
joeve - maybe i will get an egg for easter?! fingers crossed. antagonist worked better for me & is shorter, hope it goes well for you too.
afm - just waiting. for ovulation. again. at least it is a lovely, sunny day in vic and i dont have to go to workk today. :)
-
No sign of af of course, she is waiting for me to go away on holidays so i can't BD!!
Enjoy your day off Andie- wish I didn't have to go to work, its getting in the way of everything else I have to do.
-
Fingers crossed for eggs all round for Easter!
Saffy I think AF is here although I can't tell if it's more than what I had so until it's tmi gushing I am not counting it :) hope it comes for you today!
Hello everyone :)
-
yeah I think I spoke too soon and she may be rearing her head, hopefully!
-
Saffy is she here yet is she here yet???
AF is here for me so off for my bt today.
-
I would have to say today is CD1, as she was still spotting last night at work but better flow this am ( sorry tmi), yay, I have to ring hte clinic and pay my account too. We will be close together withcycling, what blood test are you having??
-
Yay for AF ha ha
It's E2, progesterone and fsh I think from memory I cant grab it out of my bag as i am on the train.
-
Back from camping for one night, DH has a job interview tomorrow then we'll be back camping until Sunday.
I'm so tired and sick of having to walk to the loo in the middle of the night 1-2 times. I'm still spotting but only when I cough, no idea what that's about!
-
Hi Girls,
Gosh it quiet in here at the moment.
I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Easter weekend.
-
it is quiet at the moment... hi sunbeam, hope you're going well. :)
joeve & saffy - hope your af's are behaving & you've been officially able to start your ivf cycles. it will be easy to remember what you are both up to with you both starting at the same time!
hi everyone else - happy easter for sunday.
afm - still not much happening here - cd 27 & no sign of ovulation yet. i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts/experiences about diet/exercise affecting cycles (delaying ovulation/af)? ive been jogging for about a month now, paired with a high protein/low carb diet for past 2 months - do you think my body could just be in shock?!!
-
Hi Andie yes it sure is quite! Not sure that exercise like that would interrupt things, are you sure you haven't missed it? Good luck and I hope the Easter bunny hasn't taken your egg!
-
Hi ladies!
I'll be taking another break from BB, recent announcements and not being able to block those affending sections of the forum leave me with no choice but to set away again for my own sanity.
Sending you all lots of baby dust and a bunch of the biggest stickies fattest positives!
-
joeve - dont think ive missed it, been temping and havent seen a rise yet. might have been today though. :dunno: hope your jabs are going ok!
tms - take care & best of luck to you.
afm - feeling a bit sick after indulging this weekend - too much chocolate... back on the wagon tomoz! hope everyone had a relaxing break. xx
-
TMS take care chick x
Andie keep dtd!!!
-
TMS- enjoy the break away from BB, I understand. Hopefully we see you back here soon.
AFM. I am CD20 and haven't had a strong +OPK yet and have given up testing for this month, feeling a bit hopeless in general.
We were away camping over Easter so there is a chance I missed it but I usually get O pain. My longest cycle is 34 days, so I guess it could still be coming. But who knows what's happening, I am getting tired of the guessing and testing.
I have been back at work for a few months now after having Lucy and today the receptionist asked me about Lucy. Just general questions like "what I ended up having, did I have a boy or girl" (she was sure I was having a boy), "what did we call her"? And I though it was so refreshing having someone interested in Lucy, acknowledging her and not treating me any differently to anyone else that has had a baby. But then she asked "how old she is now" and I realised she didn't know that Lucy was stillborn (not sure how she missed out on hearing this??) and I had to go through the whole process of comforting her after I told her Lucy had died, she looked so shocked.
But for a moment there it was nice to feel close to normal and to talk about her like any parent would.
-
OH TG I am sorry that happened. How awful for you both to have to go there she must of felt bad and then you had to comfort her.... I was smiling reading the beginning of your post and proud that she was asking those questions :(
Hope you o and get your bfp soon xx
-
tilygirl - i cant imagine the feelings that come up for you, being in that situation at work. i hope it wasnt too difficult for you. like joeve, i was reading your post and thinking how lovely it was for someone to be asking you about lucy in such a relaxed way.
joeve - thank goodness i can stop dtd now... ff reckons i ovulated friday, cd 27. phew...
hi everyone else :hello:
afm - looks like a 40 day cycle this month. the past few months cycle has been 46 days (took drugs to being af on), 38 days, 35 days & now 40 days. this is unusual for me - any ideas why my cycles seem to be getting longer? probably a question for my fs i guess, but i am still on holidays from ivf so wont be seeing her for another month or so at this stage. any ideas welcome, otherwise ill hit google... which i dont want to do bc it will tell me i have pcos, premature ovarian failure etc...! :o
-
Dont google! Blame it on the boogie:rofl: sorry I am being silly but I totally get where you are! I know last month AF was really nasty disappearing into a long cycle, don't google it will tell you crazy stuff :( hope its a natural surprise instead!!!
-
thanks joeve... i will try and stay away from google this time. ;)
-
Hi girls, sorry for the absence, was away for easter which went a bit longer than planned due to car trouble ( thank god I had taken extra ivf drugs with me), i only just made it back for work!
Andie- I haven't had probs with long cycles but can hear your frustrations, it must be sooooooo annoying. I hope stupid af shows up soon xx
Tilygirl- what a horrific experience you had at work, thats strange that she hadn't heard. Hugs babe x
Joeve- sorry I haven't been a good cycle buddy so far, I will make up for it when we are in the tww!!
TMS- hope you come back soon, take care hun xx
sunbeam- hi lovely, did you have a good easter? I'm a bit out of the loop, are you having a break until IVF in June? What are you getting up to?? xx
afm- have been jabbing and sniffing for my ivf cycle, scan this morning then egg pick up next week. Can't shake the feeling that I am pushing my luck with my age now and that i've missed the boat. I feel like there is just no chance I will get a 'normal' embryo and avoid a miscarriage. Urrgghh.
Anyway, have a nice day everyone xx
-
Saffy don't think that I truly know too many people in their 40s who have been blessed with beautiful healthy babies. Hope your scan went well today I had my second one this morning as well.
-
thanks joeve, scan didn't go well, lots of small follies, only 3 within cooee of making it to the right size, so egg pick up pushed out to next Friday in the hope they grow- maybe I won't even make it to transfer. Obviously this has confirmed my doubts about my egg making ability, feeling very flat.
Hope your scan went good, have they given you a date for egg pick up yet??
-
:( grow little follies grow. Next Friday gives them lots of time to get going. How many do you normally get?
They don't know maybe wed or fri next week has been thrown around will know on Monday.
-
Normally get good sizes and would be going to epu in a few days, my cycles last year I got 9 and 10 eggs but my cycle this year only 4 so its getting worse as I go.
Oh well, hopefully we can have epu on the same day!!! Good luck xx
-
That would be cool!! I just had my next u/s and bt booked for Monday morning so fingers crossed for both of us for next week :)
-
Hey lovlies,
Saffy - Thanks for asking after me. That sucks about your few follies but it is quality over quantity. Have you had your AMH checked? I am with you though I wave day to day between having 0-1% hope of IVF working for me and really don't know why I'm bothering. I am seeing FS on wednesday and I am going to ask him what he really thinks my chances are. I am not doing IVF till August both donor daddy and I needed a break and I really want to shift at least 10kg before i do it as I have read more and more about the affect of being overweight not just on concieving but implantation and miscarriage too. It's hard to motivate myself to diet and exersize when I have so little hope so I try to tell myself I'm just doing it cos I don't want to be fat anymore. 2kg down so far.
Tilygirl - Apart form the fact the lady did not know what happened it must have been nice to talk about Lucy openly.
Joeve - Sorry Hun I am a bit lost where you are up to?
Andie - I'm sorry your cycle is messing you around I don't think diet will affect it unless you are having really low calories. Mine has been off this month too I was due to O the week before easter but I'm fairly sure it did not happen till Easter saturday so about 10 days late (cd25) this is not unusual for me though I have had 45 day cycles before now but only when I did not O at all. I hope yours gets its act in gear soon.
AFM - Well just focussing on my diet and exersize which has meant a loss of 2kg (in 3 weeks so not exactly dropping off!) but my back is also heaps better for it. I have also ventured back on to the internet dating scene and have a date on monday night, I'll let you know how it goes :D
Had a lovely lunch with Donor daddy and his partner over Easter, he really is such a lovely guy.
-
Sunbeam we missed you:loveshower: welcome back and yay on 2kgs! I am just quietly jabbing away and waiting for my next instructions from the ivf nurses :)
-
evening ladies. :hello:
saffy - hi! have to say i agree with sunbeam, quality not quantity (although i get that you expected & would like just a few more!). i have posted this before, but with my last stim i was told only 4 eggs to collect & that the smaller ones werent worth counting bc they wouldnt catch up. i ended up with 11, so sometimes they can jump into action - i hope thats whats happens for you. xx
joeve - goodluck with your bt & scan monday, you will have an exciting week with your first EPU & transfer... wishing you the best of luck. (and i have been reading your blog!)
sunbeam - well done on the 2kgs - 2kgs in 3 weeks sounds good to me?! i will have to watch my calories i think, i may not be having enough with this high protein/low carb diet. nice to hear you & DD are getting on well and goodluck with your date monday. ;)
hi to anyone else reading!
afm - naturopath appt today, just trucking along with herb tonic & now fish oil (liquid form - ewww!), and also some extra b vitamins. hoping to get cycle length down & regulate hormones (arent we all?!!). hope you all have a lovely weekend. xx
-
Andie nice to hear about the fishoil ewwwww..... but yay to the natropath! Re the blog= I wish I had of taken a pre jabbing belly shot, I am truely not that round normally:rofl:
-
belly looked fine to me - but lets hope it gets rounder and rounder in the coming months. ;)
-
joeve i can't remember where your blog is, I want to check it out! Is it on bb or elsewhere?
-
In my sig, its in faint text after the IVF starts bit... you just wanna see my fat belly:ninja:
