    Hello ladies,

trubabe ~ all the best with the Lap and a speedy recovery. Also I hope it all works out for your DD and mum.

Loops ~ oooh it sounds very positive!!! My sister when she did her pregnancy tests (mind you she tried with 3 different brands just to confirm) mentioned that the pregnancy line came up straight away. When are you going to have a BT or scan to confirm?? I am so excited and anxious for you!!

juniper ~ glad to hear you are making good recovery. Take care of yourself x

Lairdoz ~ I am sure the little embie is fine. I am curious whats an "AA" blasty? When is your BT?? Hope you get well soon.

CK77 ~ and welcome to BB! All the best with your cycle. Hopefully you don't find the injections too painful. I am a real woos (sp?) when it comes to injections, but during my ivf cycle found them to be a breeze - even straight out of the fridge.

    Gday ladies
firstly hello to my gorgeous loops how are you chick hope your staying positive huge hugs are being sent over the hill....
Well it is now time to step into here we started the process for ai on friday last week. quick update on us we have been trying for 2 1/2 years I think maybe a few months more. We have tried three rounds of clomid and still nothing so now I have started on the pill to get me in sync with the specialist and transfer should take place roughly about the week of both our birthdays begininnign of May.
Been a real rollercoaster as all of you I am sure know all too well.
We have all our hopes pinned on ai working first round. We are technically in the unexplained fertility category as DH's swimmers are only a little low. so not sure. I sure could use a shoulder to lean on from people who have been through what we are about to go through. What to expect etc etc.
It sort of hit us on saturday and we had a bit of a teary but am aiming to stay focused and positive so my immediate goal is to get as fit and healthy as possible to give ai the best possible chance. and with calving abut to start full noise as well as I have a heavily preg sister and a 2nd trimester SIL so I get to look forward to spoiling my neices and or nephews so lots of things to keep me busy.
Hello again to everyone I am sure I will get to know you all quite well and hope you all get that goal really soon

Thanks melttc ~ Im trying not to get my hopes up though because it still could be blighted ovum but then I dont know if you would get NORMAL HCG readings if that was the case. Does anyone know?

Hi Trueblue chick, thanks hun. As always thinking of you guys and I really hope the IUI works for you and that you get an amazing birthday present.
You'll get there very soon I reckon. We are a bit worse off and we are nearly there - so you guys will soon. FX hun.

AFM ~ feeling pretty frustrated this morning. I was told by my nurse last week that the report hadnt been written yet and If I hadnt heard Mon then I should ring my FS secretary on Tuesday and they would probably be expecting my call. So I did and the Secretary wasnt very nice and said that the report says to have another scan in 3weeks - 3 BLOOMIN WEEKS!! Does she understand how much Ive been going out of my mind, obviously not.
In the end she was ok and said she would send me out a referral for another BT but is that going to be accurate? What if it is blighted ovum will my HCG level go down or can it still increase, does anyone know?
    Help would be appreciated. xo

Hey girls just a quick one - I did a HPT this morning, the line was a faint as anything, but I still saw it (just) - so on my way to work I stopped in at QFG and they let me do the test (supposed to do Thursday, but moved forward to Wednesday, and now Tuesday). The BETA level was only 16. The receptionist said that they liked to see numbers over 100 - so I'm a long way from that ... but I have to go in on Friday for another BT. I am so hard it is not a chem preg. The worst part is I have to fly interstate on Saturday for work and wont be back till next Wednesday - so I won't even have time to have big cuddles with DH

Does anyone know anyone who has come up from 16 before? I need some positive thoughts!!

Loops - Is it worth going in for an appointment with your FS? You deserve to know what the plan of attack is. You are correct, three weeks is way too long. Do they think you have a viable pregnancy (FX!)? If so, you should be having another scan within the next week as you should be close to seeing an HB. If not, what are they waiting for, is it to see levels coming down, if so then surely a BT once a week? You may already know the answers to these, but if you haven't, start getting demanding as you deserve to know the plan of attack, if not the answer just yet as of course they may not know what the outcome is. You have paid a lot of money for this so you deserve some service to at least have a plan of attack (end of rant!)

Melttc - I didn't really know what an AA but from looking on the net it means it was pretty good, although I don’t know if it was hatching yet (didn’t think to ask as I prefer to know as little as possible. Not that I give myself anymore chances than any other month. My BT is next Weds I think – yours is a long way off, you have a very long TWW after your transfer?

MellyBelly81 – Hope the BT went well and GL.

Melissal – Hope you are back on the FET track very soon, I so agree with planning trips – we are going away in August regardless of what happens as I think us IVF’ers deserve something to look forward to regardless of the outcome!

CK77 – Hi and welcome. I took the injections about about 5 minutes before I put them in and found it was enough to make them a little bit closer to room temperature making them nicer once the stuff goes in. Half an hour before still wouldn’t ruin it unless you lived in an oven. It will tell you the recommended temp on the box.

Juniper – Hope you are continuing to feel better 

Trubabe, Goodluck with everything, sounds like a tough time but you WILL get through it even stronger.

Mum2b – I also got 16 for my last HCG so spent a lot of time looking at betas. Have a look at betabase.info online and you can find that yes indeed, some pregnancies progress from a 16, but it depends on your dpo. Goodluck and I will have my FX for you.

JBM, Marcellus, Babytruj, Renee, Jilly, bj8, Trueblue (welcome!) – Hello lovely ladies, hope you are all doing well!
AFM – Nothing to report, feeling a bit better today, but otherwise just waiting. Haven’t rung up to find out if I have any frozen embies, will wait until after my BT next week in case it’s bad news.

Mum-2-be ~ Ive heard and read that it doesnt matter too much the first BT what the HCG is as long as it keep doubling I think every day or 2 days. It is still a reading so you're pregnant. As you probably know I was in the same boat. my first was only 38. If it has increased next one that is good, will have fingers crossed for you hun.
Did they do progesterone too and if so what was that. My P4 was only 2.6 extremely low.

Lairdoz ~ thanks hun, you are so right and I need to start being demanding as ive paid a lot of money. Thank you for reminding me, from now on its no more Mrs Nice.
Not long now for you, FX hun! Hope you're doing well in the TWW. xo

arrrrgggghhhhh the hospital has now changed mums surgery date from april 1st to april 15th 'due to unforseen circumstances". turns out its coz its easter weekend when she would be in hospital.just when i had organized DP to have the first off to drive me to coast.and now mum is nagging me that im not getting to visit her much. DP and i are back to sharing a car and he is being slack about organizing another one, so it makes it hard to get to mums over an hour away very often

    Hi girls,

Loops - OMG i can't believe you still don't have an answer! I'm with Laridoz. I would be ringing everyday till i got answers or I would be going elsewhere (if that is an option). I'm not sure what sort of facilities your clinic has or whether it is a large or small clinic, but either way it is ridiculous. They should be doing BT's every day or 2 to see what is happening there at least. I would definately be putting away nice Loops and bring out frustrated and anrgy loops. I will bet you anything they will listen if you demand answers, being nice sometimes doesn't get you anywhere. Sorry bout the rant but i'm frustrated for you

m2b - I will have my fingers crossed for you, unfortunately my BETA result was 19 and it was a chemical, however that doesn't mean it will be the same for you. Like loops said so long as it doubles by thursday, you should be all good. I did look up all that when i got such a low beta and it is possible to have a viable preg with a low beta like that.

Sorry i have no more personals today but i hope everyone else is doing great
ATM - i have a BT tomorrow which will be day 12 to see how hormones are going and then hopefully we will have some idea about when our little frozen emby can go in.
