Just joking. I fully understand the need to take a break. Although, given I am 40 in two months or so I cant afford to take longer than about five minutes or so.

I've been having blood tests every two or three days, as well as the daily OPKs. The bad news is I think I have missed the surge. On Wednesday and Thursday the OPK had a second pink line. However the line was quite a bit fainter than the control.

I am using Seratec OPKs from the clinic which, in their opinion, are the best (who knows but I guess they are sensitive). It clearly says on the pack that a fainter line is not a positive. For a test to be indicating a surge it needs to be either the same or darker than the control line. Soooo....I assumed my fainter pink lines were just indicative that a surge was on its way. This was confirmed by Thursday's BT which indicated a rise in LH and progesterone.

Fast forward to yesterday. No second pink line at all. I ring the clinic. They say go and have a blood test because the faint lines could have actually have been a positive. I had the BT and am waiting for results.

This morning, absolutely no second pink line and I have mild discomfort in my back and ovary area which I think may be ovulation....

I have to have a FET two days after O. However, it is not scheduled yet so I dont know if they would be able to sqeeze me in on Monday if I am indeed ovulating today.

How's this for a quick update...

Literally the second I pressed send my phone rang. It was the clinic and, yep, I ovulated yesterday.

Looks like I will be having a transfer tomorrow. The nurses are just trying to get hold of my FS (who is on leave) to confirm the go ahead.

While I am a bit excited, at the same time I kind of dont hold out a lot of hope for this transfer. It is an embie from my first cycle and it wasn't a terrific grade.

Last month I had two "perfect" grade fresh embies implanted. They didnt stick. What are the chances of this one sticking when, on paper, it isnt as good.

afm:
well i have been jabbing now since tue night so have done 4 needles, i have a bruise on my tummy and it is swollen already ?. OUCH. AF also just didn't really come ? i had about 1 1/2 days of heavy then just spotting and nothing ?

i was on the pill since feb and didn't have a break, during that time i got AF and she stayed for 10 days and i then when it went i continued spotting all month. FS said it was o.k as long as it wasn't full on AF. so finally went of pill and basically there wasn't much left ?

i havnt phoned the clinic yet as when i last spoke to the nurse she said the synarel and jabing would do there job.
i have a scan early wed morn so will see how my eggies are doing.
i am on 300iu of gonal F each day

Well not today anyway...

After I posted yesterday I got a call from the nurse who had spoken to the FS. The FS wasnt happy with my progesterone level and said it wasnt absolutely conclusive that I had o'ed. Grrrrr!! So I had to get up early this morning and go into the clinic for a BT. Depending on the result of that I will have the transfer either Monday/Tuesday or the cycle will be cancelled due to low progesterone. Grrrrr!!!

So, just waiting, waiting, waiting for the phone call. Again.

afm: well it seems i am getting the hang of the needles again and no more bruises yet. the one i have is black too so looks good.

After 3,402,389,423,942,358 blood tests (approximately) I have finally got a phone call saying my transfer is tomorrow at 2.45pm.

Assuming of course the embie lasts the thaw

They are thawing it out now so technically it will be a three day transfer .

My progesterone apparently is "brilliant" (after all the angst) and is 23.6

it thaws, implants and grows into a screaming baby

JBM im finding im getting worse! Everyone I do hurts more! I did bruise woth the 1st one but none since just pain, and yea feeling the bloatingness. Gl on wed! (mines fri)

Afm....well im loving these hormones! They are making me crazy tho, and were not talking moody angry ***** crazy, we are talking that red headed chick from wedding crashes crazy! I cant het enough of dh, not sexually (all tho that hasnt been affected at all by this) but emotionly, im obsessed with kissing him and always have to be touching him, and I miss him when he is just in the other room!! I think its scaring him a bit...=}

Edit- well N2L I change my numbers going up to a thawed and successful t/f!!

JBM - you poor thing. I hope that you don't get too much more bruising. I was tempted to take a photo of my belly the time before last as it was ridiculous how many bruises I had.

Crazy Tei - It may feel like you're being very out there but it's only normal to be wanting to be so close when you are feeling so vulnerable and these crazy hormones take their hold! Good luck with the rest of your jabbing!

AFM - AF arrived on Fri so have started OCP and off to have karyotype/genetic testing today. Only have to give 12 vials of blood (DH gets to give 1, typical!) I think the results take a couple of weeks.

I'm doing ok... scared but hopeful. I have my repeat BT tomorrow so I'm praying for awesome numbers. Also, my first u/s is Friday so after I see that it's growing in the right spot, I'll relax a bit... I'm petrified of having an eptopic so fingers crossed the lil emby has nestled into the right spot.

Elocin, I'm jabbing til fri, that will be 10 days, then have my us and they said that afternoon they will have exact dates for me to start trigger and epu! I hope you have good numbers and that little one is tucked up snugly in your uterus no where else!!!

Afm, we moved last week and our net still isn't connected, I called to find out what was going on and apparently they just transfered our phone but didn't bother transferring our net and its still on our old place! God knows what they were thinking as we didnt change plans or anything! Im a little annoyed as is going to take another 4 days. I dont understand actually cause the chick I talked to lasr week even said phone will happen straight away net will take a few days, so she knew both we getting moved! *breathe* point of this is im still just using my phone, so limited net access!
