    Hi Ladies

Bee - That's great news from your bank. Yay to an FET.

Vic - TF will be 23rd. Same ay as you. We'll be TWW buddies lol

    Fert rates are in.

    16 fertilized normally
3 fertilized abnormally - Too much DNA
    5 No fertilization at all

So, so far so good. Grow embies grow! TF has been confirmed for Monday I just need to ring tomorrow for a time. Then it's sit and wait out the weekend. I have the scientists number to call over the weekend if I want. I don't think I will. What will be will be no amount of pestering the scientists will change the outcome. I know some will arrest and we'll lose some just a matter of how many fail to progress. I just want 2 perfect blasts to TF on Monday any in the freezer is a bonus.

Porshe - Yay to being TWW buddies. Lets hope that we are both moving on to a belly buddies group! Good numbers for fertilisation. Yay for having a transfer this cycle and not having to freeze them all. I am planning a day 5 transfer with my day 2 frosties being defrosted on Friday morning. If they are not looking so good will have 2 put back in on Saturday after the lab tech performing assisted hatching. I am praying that we get to day 5 (Monday) as its our first wedding anniversary. My appointment if for 12.30pm SA time. That time last year I was slipping into my wedding dress. *sigh* wouldn't it be a nice story to tell our child one day. I am just going to let it be. I have different thoughts on which I prefer day 3 assisted or day 5 blast. The lab tech said they have more success with day 5 blasties, so bring that on!!!

Bee - Am so thrilled for you that your loan came through. You must be so super excited. FX you get your BFP.

Joeve - Thank god your still in with a chance. Bodies can definately frustrate us beyond belief. Its funny when you tell people how you doing IVF and they go oh poor you, the needles. Who gives a crap about the needles, the emotional swings is what does your head in. A phone call is either full or hope, or utter despair.

Saffy - Good luck for tomorrow hunni. Are you going for day 3 or day 5?

Hi to myturn, n2l, lyra, and everyone else. Hope those who are in the TWW already are filling their days

AFM - Not much going on. Like I said above just waiting for tomorrow to see how many thaw. When I get off the plane Saturday morning I have to call the clinic straight away to see if I am needed for transfer, but I am praying they say I am not needed until Monday I have my Nana's 90th Birthday Saturday night and as its our anniversary we have booked a King Room with Spa at a really nice hotel in the city and I really hope to use it over the weekend. I have decided to not BD the whole TWW, so want to get in some before transfer Just hope I can keep to it, although DH will be away for pretty much all of it anyway.

Yes. Natural (aka 'what's the point?') cycle

I thought I might have ovulated because I had some pains around cd13. I started testing around then. Got a second line but not an obvious positive. Gave up, just assumed it would happen. Felt nauseaus all day yesterday and put a kilo on on the scales so tested yesterday just in case...almost positive. Just tested again. It's positive. Got a sneaky one in this morning and will go again every day over the next three or four days.

I will then most likely do a FET next cycle. Then maybe just one more stim after that (and any resulting FETs).

Joeve - I always have 2 trans if I can. I am 41. They say it doesn't increase the chances of getting pregnant just the chances of having twins. Having said that what about the girls on here that have 2 put back in and get a singleton out of it. I like having the 2 put back in. Even my first go I had 2 put in.

Porche & Saff - Your both so lucky to have your BT's on the 5th. I have to wait for the 8th.

The way I see it is it saves me time and money. It is unlikely I am going to get twins and it saves and an extra month and a FET. if one is going to stick, it is going to stick regardless of it going in alone or with another at the same time iykwim.

    Hi Ladies

I got the resutls of our other embies.

We have 6 frosties. The other 7 died . Bit disapointed in that but atleat there are 6.

    They are:
    3AA
    3BB
    7BB
    4BB
    4BB
    4BB

So I was told they grade them like this. The number is graded 1-7. 7 being the closest to hatching and the best.

The first letter means the cells on the outside of the embie that will form the placenta and the graded A being the best and c the worst.

The second letter grades the incer cells that will form the baby and same grading scale as the placental cells.

MrsMac - I'm so sorry. Hugs to you.

Vic - Wow that's a long time to wait for yourBT. Crazy. I'd be tairing my hair out. Good luck for starting the business.

    Hi and welcome to SLMOO.

How do you measure it?? You don't measure it as such. What I find easiest is I study the toilet paper after I wipe and your fertile CM looks exactly like egg whites. Clear and stretchy. If you stretch it in the TP it will stretch a couple of CM or so. You'll find you have more after a bowel movement.

How can you tell the difference btw what is mucous and whats residual left over sperm coming out (sorry I had to ask as I have no idea). Here are some ways to tell the difference between EWCM and semen:
EWCM is stretchy: EWCM is very elastic. If you put it between your fingers, it will stretch without breaking apart. Semen, on the other hand, doesn’t stretch and will break apart if you put it between your fingers and try to stretch it.
EWCM is slippery and clear: While semen may feel slippery as well, it looks white and cloudy. Not clear, like EWCM. EWCM is more transparent and feels very slippery.
EWCM does not absorb easily: If you look at the toilet paper when you use the bathroom and notice mucous on the toilet paper, you can tell if it is actually mucous by waiting a few minutes. If it is semen it will quickly absorb into the toilet paper, whereas EWCM generally will sit on top of the toilet paper.
EWCM will form a ball in water: When you go to the bathroom, let the mucous drop into the toilet water. If it turns into a ball and sinks, it is most likely EWCM. If it dissolves into the water, it is most likely semen.

My cycles since starting provera are usually 30-31 days...
When should I start using OPK's? I had long cycles on clomid. 35 days or so. I would start using OPK's on CD9. I found I would O any where between CD16 - CD22. I would do them at around 5pm when I got home work. I would usually have my LH surge at around that time. If you find that you can't detect your LH surge try testing at different times of the day. 2pm being the best. But NEVER first thing in the morning. You will always have some LH in your system so you will always have 2 lines on your OPK. MAke sure the test line is as dark or darker than the control line for it to be a positive.
When does the TTW start?? Your TWW will start the day after you have ovulated. So for example if you O'd on CD16, CD17 would be the beggining of your TWW.

    Hope that helps
