Loops - Hi how is everything going? Any more headaches? no AF over the weekend!
Melissal - i think that is a great way to handle the TWW! keep busy and not read into any ache or pain! only makes you stress even more! GL for tues will be for a BFP. I love white chocolate as well!
BJ - thanks for the tip about acupuncture, i will definatley be reading into it some more! All the best for your FET cycle! God i hate blood tests, i have permanent marks in my arms where they hit the same vein all the time, then i bruise, I look like a junkie
Laridoz - All the best for tomorrowyou are number 2 for feb
Miss K - Hope you are traveling well through the TWW
Sorry to those i have missed, hope you are all going well with wherever you are up to.
ATM - The Lab says i still have 7 little embies!!!YAY!!! 5 are beginning to join (the cells) and 2 are still a little slow but are still doing the right thing. ET will definatley be tomorrow, getting excitied!
Emerald star - if you are still checking in by BT will be on the 2nd March, Hope eveything is going smoothly with you.
Laridoz - Im sorry hun, ignore my post which i must have been writing while you posted it! My first was a chem preg and it is reasurring knowing that it can take. I was told by the nurses at the clinic the reason it doesn't stick is because the embryo is not chromosonally ready. So it just wasn't the right little embie. Again i'm sorry.
Wow, there is so much going on in here it's impossible to keep up. I have been lurking though.....
I know a couple of you from when I was cycling last year.
Loops, I have my fingers crossed big time for you as I know that last year it was only a remote possibility that you would even get to cycle this early in the year.
Emerald Star - A huge Congrats to you. Can't wait to hear Monday's result. I was so excited to log in and see your update.
Juniper - Hope all goes well with your wedding plans and everything runs smoothly.
To all you other ladies, I hope your time here in this thread short and sweet - and I mean that in the nicest possible way!
AFM: After having stim & FET cycle last year (both BFN) and losing 6 frosties in one hit, we were pretty devestated. Decided to take some time off and make some lifestyle changes ie. work, diet, exercise and we are now ready to go!
Have changed clinics in the hope that a new approach will help. I have heard great things about this clinic but am still kind of reeling over the costs associated and the shock of just how little my PHI covers. We will be out of pocket about 5 times the amount we were last time! (not including the lap)
I will be having a Lap and ovarian drilling next month to see what's going on inside and then perhaps a 3 month layoff before proceeding with IVF again (depending on what they find).
I am a bit scared of the Lap but hope that it will shed some light. If anyone could share their experience, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the feedback about longer AF's - it seems to have gone now - hopefully for 9 months!!
Melissal & Miss K - hope you both are going through the TWW well!!
Loops - Hope the TWW is treating you a little more kindly (with no headaches)!! that there will be no AF over the weekend.
BJ & Renee - a friend of mine went through IVF this time last year and she tried the acupuncture and it worked for her ... although I think she also had a ****tail of other things to improve her chances - so not sure what the verdict is - but I guess it cant hurt - and if it relaxes you!! And Renee - good luck for tomorrow - my for you!!
Laridoz - I'm glad that your ok - as you say, at least you know its all working!
Tantee - Hi!! I only just joined in January, this is my first cycle. I can't comment on the other procedures - but I wish you all the best!!
ATM - As I said above, the spotting has stopped!! I felt really yuk yesterday - just wanted to go home from work, but I perservered with the day and by 2:00pm I started feeling better!! At 4pm I turned Whitney Houston on as loud as my computer would go in my office (I closed the door!!) and kept working!! Funny how all day you can feel yuk and then almost instantly feel better!! Other than that, I go in on Monday for a scan to see how the eggies are going ... pretty exciting!!
Hi lovely ladies
Thanks for your support and encouragement. See the thing is i always get headaches and migraines leading upto my AF arriving and also during AF and the timeframe was the same for my last IVF cycle - had ET on a Sunday and by the next Thursday/Friday I had headaches. Same thing is happening now. Im just hoping the headaches dont get too bad and then maybe I could put it down to stress but I know the type of headache too.
Last night I was more confident but today I have 1 again so def NOT looking good.
As for the Crinone - some of the side affects can be thrush like symptoms, so Im pretty sure its the Crinone.
Renee ~ thank you 2! GL for your ET, glad the embies are doing well!
Lairdoz ~ so sorry hun, it was a negative this time and a chemical preg but glad it has given you some hope. I can understand that. GL for the next try, hope its not too far off for you. Oh and thanks heaps for the reputation you gave me - i should give you some back, as you and everyone else have been so great and supportive to me, thank you!
BJ ~ thanks hun. Will definitely have FX for you and toes!! All the best
Melissa ~ Glad you are staying pos and not trying to read into any signs or symptoms, good plan, less stress. Still have FX and TX for you,
Juniper ~ thanks hun, good to know. I think i'll stop too if I get a full blown AF, we'll see.
How are you going? All the best xo
Miss K ~ thanks hun, trying to stay positive, I just know my body so well is all. I think I will see if there is another alternative to Crinone, thanks. No I dont have to do the pesseries - thank fully
How are you feeling?
Tantee ~ thanks so much, means a lot. Yeh we didnt think we would have the money but my nan and pop and my mum helped us out and also it ended up being a little cheaper in terms of pre-payment this time.
All the best for trying again, you should do well after having a break. GL
Mum-2-be ~ thank you xo. GL with your scan, that is very exciting.
Loops - sorry your not doing to well today hon xx. I still have everything crossed for you and am hoping that you might still get that BFP. I have never used Crinone and always used Progesterone pessaries. They are little waxy cones that you can take rectally which makes them cleaner and could help with the thrush symptoms. If this cycle doesn't work out you should see if you can swap for next time.... hopefully you won't need to worry about it though. sweetie x
Thanks heaps Mitf ~ I will ask if I can do them next time then, yes if there is a next time, I think so but still hoping all the same for a little surprise. xo
Im devestated just got the worst news ever - none of our eggs were frozen, so now broke, dont think this one has stuck and gone through so much for NOTHING AT ALL
Absoluely gutted and Im at work 2. Sorry to be a downer.
So probably be waiting another year now as we just can't afford it. And after everyone gave us money for it too - its just not right, life is so unfair!!
Loops - I am sooo sorry honey. I know what it is like to not have any eggs left to freeze and it feels like you have been cheated somehow. Life can be cruel. I wouldn't cope with that news while i was at work. Here if you need.
i am just sending some positive vibes to all you ladies in here, hoping egg collection, ET and FET's or whatever part of a cycle you're up to you have good luck.
i mostly post in LTTC thread where you've been doing it for more than 12 months , but i still keep an eye on whats happening in here.

Lairdoz - I am so sorry hon!! I really was hoping any of you ladies would be joining me....good to hear the positivity in your tone. Take care of yourself.
Bj*81 - Frustrating isn't it ?? Sometimes it is not a bad idea to see another FS...just take your file and move on...at the end of the day you want results...I was with one FS at my clinic for 3 of my IVF's and I decided to change to another one ( same clinic different FS) and i'm preggos!! so you never know! GL with your FET!
Renee - You are on the LIST!! GL with ET tomorrow!
Tantee - GL with everything and nice to hear from you again!
Mum 2 Be - Hope to see you join aour lists soon...try and relax!
Loops12 - I know sometimes you are so sure something is happening and then it turns out to be something completely different...keep the faith! Sorry about your eggies not being able to be frozen...i don't know what to say....I hope one way or another it all just happens for you real soon
Loula and JBM - Hi...Hope you guys are doing well too.
Danyelle - Thankyou...Thankyou....Thankyou soooooo much for your support today! You were my rock today!
AFM - Well, went for BT #2 today....while waiting for the nurses to call..i had a big scare...BROWN SPOTTING....bawled my eyes out....convinced that this was a short lived pregnancy...called Danyelle, who talked it all through with me and calmed me down...finally nurses called with BT results...results are as listed below:
16/2 Beta 184 P4 488
19/2 Beta 729 P4 504
Due to the spotting i have to go and see FS on Monday...Hoping nothing starts going south between now and then.

Thanks Loula and Renee for your support, much appreciated. So many lovely woman in here. I would be completely broken if it werent for you all. xoxo
2nd time with no eggs frozen, definitely going to ask to do 3day transfer next time.
I know it will happen 1 day for us!
Still got to hope this 1 sticks I suppose, even though not looking good.

Loops - I am so sorry to hear about no frozens. I so wish there was a court of unfairness to go an complain to as those of us going through this deserve to complain as it's just SO unfair. Don't count this embryo in there at the moment out just yet though!
Em Star - CONGRATS - that is fantastic news. Lots and lots of people bleed during their pregnancies, although it doesn't make you feel any better when it's you does it? The HCG doesn't lie though - you're little one looks pretty determined to stay right where it is!
Renee - goodluck for tomorrow, I'm sure it will be great.
Bj*81 - Sometimes it's good to have fresh eyes over the situation. Go with what you think feels right (I know that sounds a bit silly but sometimes we actually know what's right but it might be too hard). Hope that makes sense. What does your partner think?
mum-2-be - You made me laugh - which isn't that easy today turning up Whitney Houston loud in your office, that's the kind of thing I do but these days it's in the car. It's good for the soul in times of crisis!
tantee - Hi there, sorry you had to come back here and visit but hope that your lap proves valuable. I can't help with any info on them but I'm sure someone else here can.
juniper76 - Thanks for your thoughts, very sweet!
JBM - Hi there, I hope we are going to see you soon here?
Miss K and Melissa - Hope you are looking after yourselves. GL and FX - I'm thinking of you
Hi to anyone I have missed
AFM - A question - I have two frozen embies left (both 3 dayers) and either have a choice of a FET next month OR I have to take a month off (apparently because of Medicare?) then do a whole stim cycle. I don't have much faith in the FET process and am getting down to the dreggie eggies so to speak (I think they are 7 and 8 cell grade 2 but maybe one is grade 3). I know that I am lucky to have frozens but don't want to waste a month (and well of $1000) for my fourth in a row failed FET- but then of course it might work which is much cheaper and less evasive than a stim cycle(which seems to cost about $3000). What do you guys think?
Lairdoz - thankyou for your encouraging words....as for your dilemma i would try another fresh cycle if finances were not an issue. GL with your decision.
bj - I know what you mean about not wanting to change FS it is hard to start it all over again
Lairdoz - I am soo soo sorry to hear about your CP I hope you can do a back-2-back cycle and I hope it comes round real fast for you I would try frozen first if you have a tight budget....
Renee- GL for tomorrow I bet your excited
Tantee - I had Ovarian Drilling it didn't really work for me but some people it can help ovulate and fall naturally! I hope you are one of the lucky ones!! If you need to know or ask anything let me know ok xxoo
mum-2-be - good luck for monday!!!
Emerald Star - I will be that all is well come Mondays results xxoo
Loops - please don't give up!!! I know its hard not to but try and hold onto a little bit of hope!! xxoo
