    hi girls,
just popped in to say thank you to all of you for you wonderful support.
we went for ET today, but when we got there we were told that our egg has fertilized but had not divided in 3 days, so basically its dead.i cant believe that this has happened, im just so crushed ans been crying my eye's out for that last hour.I dont think that we will go again , as every time we try the out come just keeps getting worse. I dont think i will be around for a while , but do wish each and every one of you the very best of luck and may your dreams be fulfilled.

Thanks Mum-2-be ~ Im 99% sure im out though now with a chemical pregnancy. AF has arrived Im pretty sure, was hoping it was implantation bleeding but looking too much and too red now.
Those follie numbers sound great - same as what I had.

Are you doing a 5dt or 3dt? 5dt's are supposdly more successful but you tend to lose more eggs because they dont make it to the right quality by the 5 days, so in the case probably the more eggs you get at EPU the better. A 3dt obviously maybe not as successful but Ive heard plenty of cases where it has been and more chance the embryo's will make it that far.
Im hoping maybe I can do a 3dt next time

Littlegem ~ so sorry hunny, i feel your pain right now with AF coming for me and no back up eggs - Im going to have to now hope for natural pg or to sell our tractor ASAP.

Hope to see you back in here at some point soon - I know last time I found I ended up staying around because the support was fantastic and all these wonderful people helped me through. (((Big Hugs)))

AFM ~ Well was thinking it was implantation bleed but now looking like ive had a chemical pregnancy after reading up about them. Obviously gutted as we have no money left and no baby but this whole cycle has also been a lot better than the 1st so something to hold onto I guess.
Thanks everyone for your care and support x

    Hi Ladies,
Firstly Loops, I am so sorry hon.......i will keep praying that your little miracle comes your way very soon....... I don't know if this is anything you can think about..but a friend of mine who did IVF a few years ago..took a second morgage out on her house to do her cycles she got pregnant after 3 stim cycles and 4 FET...it eases the financial strain when you can do something like that and then just add a little extra to the house repayments.....

to everyone else i hope you are doing well in your cycles and good luck.....

Me, well i need a little rant............

As you all know things had been progressing well up until i saw a bit of brown spotting...went in for Bt #3 today 2905!! Also had ultrasound to see the gestational sac and guess what........NO SAC!
I can't stop thinking why is this happening to me!! Firstly you go through all this crap to get pregnant and you stress over DH sperm quality, egg quality..number of eggs collected..2 / 3 day or blast transfer?....and what do i do to make it stick...all these decisions just to get that BFP!! then when you finally do..its another ****ed up rollercoaster all over again ..only this time will my levels be normal..do i have enough progesterone to support this pregnancy...will my betas double? and now Where The HELL is the SAC !! Is it too early...all the research i have done leads me back to " theres just something wrong with me"...i am so tired and frustrated will all of this and as happy as you are when you see that BFP..it can easily just come crashing down on you....Is there a sac? when we finally see one, will there be a foetus? or will it be empty? Oh, it just goes on and on...make it stop pleeeeeeese!
Sorry for the rant ladies..but again i am so bummed out! I need a hug!

Littlegem - I'm so sorry to hear that, hope that you are doing ok (i know you prob aren't) but i'm thinking of you.

Loops - I hope its not AF, but if it is and you had a positive result then it could be likely that you had a chem preg, AF can still arrive normally even if you have had one. Are you using the crinone gel or pregnyl injections? You can get a false positive if you are using the injections. It is a little bit easier if you know that it tried to implant.

M2B - Thanks BT is 2nd March. I had a day 5 transfer which means i had a blastocyt come day 5. Before then they are just a cluster of cells. By leaving them till day 5 there is evidence of a higher succss rate due to the fact they r a blast, but there is also less chance you have many left come day 5. My clinic counts the day of EPU as day 0 so if you r having ET on Wed then here it would only b day 2. I guess there are pros and cons to each but at least by day 5 you know it has actually formed a blast (before an embryo). I guess you could say it weeds out the weak ones so you are only left with the strong ones. Hope that helped a little, more & more clinics are doing day 5 transfers now, i didn't have a choice. If you google day 5 transfer you will get some good info. 11 eggs souds very promising!

Laridoz - Sorry i'm late with my opinion but i think if you are up to it, go for a full cycle, thats prob what i would do if i was in your situation.

Melissal - Gl with BT tomorrow will be for you!

Hi to the many i have missed

ATM - feeling really good and positive, trying to keep really busy and not pay any attention to every twitch i feel

    Back in the game....

    Hi Ladies,

Just a quick introductory post -

Started my second IVF cycle today. Wasn't too pleased with snorting synarel again. This cycle is a boost cycle unlike my first cycle which the full down reg cycle which felt like it took forever.

Emerald star - I have tried to read a few of your posts to work out if you have a BFP??? and plus I'm a little confused with your last post...

Loops - I read earlier posts that you have seen faint lines when POAS?? Have you had your BT yet? I wouldn't rule out a BFP until then.

As for everyone else, hello to you all and hope you are all traveling well in your cycle. Those of you who are about to have BT for you all!!

Anyway, promise to write a longer post next time with some persies once I have had a chance to read back through earliers posts!

I lost the post I wrote this afternoon so will make this shorter!

Em Star - Your ultrasound seems pretty early, I haven't heard of having one quite so soon - what did your FS say? You are entirely entitled to be frustrated as this process is hideous and so crushingly unfair at times. I wouldn't be throwing in the towel so soon though if I were you.

Loops - Hope you are hanging in there. Have been thinking of you and sorry they won't let you have your BT earlier, but only one more sleep

Danyelle - Sorry I don't know anything about the antibodies, hope you find the information you are after.

Tantee - Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. The rules in WA at least are that if you have 2 or less embies you can do another fresh cycle.

Littlegem - I am so sorry - that's just awful. I completely understand needing to be off this rollercoaster if but for a little while hopefully we will see you again soon.

Renee (thanks for your feedback on my dilemma too!) Melissal and Miss K - hope you are all surviving the 2ww. FX that you guys get some nice big fat positives soon!

Mum-2-Be - The preference for most clinics given the empirical evidence is a blasto (day 5) however if you have only a few embies, some clinics (including mine) would prefer to increase the likelyhood of transfer by doing 3 dayers (which is what happened to me). Hope everything is growing nicely with your follies!

melttc - Hi - hope your visit this time is short and sweet

Hi to anyone I have missed as always.

AFM - My BT today showed I still have HCG in my body so am still waiting for AF, but will be starting antagonist cycle as soon as it arrives. I discovered this morning through lots of phone calls that the info my clinic told me last month was only relevant last year as Medicare changed the rules (again) so I can do a stim cycle straight after a FET.

Emstar, I haven't been reading all the posts so maybe I have missed it, but have you told your hubby/partner about what is going on? I read an earlier post of yours where you were keeping silent on it until a PG scan later on. I think you should tell him so you can lean on him during this time. He would want to be there for you, too, I'm sure. Apologies if I'm overstepping the mark but I'm just concerned for you. FX that everything is just as it should be, babe. If it eases your mind, I know that one of my cousins spotted all the way through her three pregnancies and they're happy and healthy little vegemites

Em Star ~ So sorry you are going through this worry and stress . You so dont deserve this and it is horrible the amount of stress we have to go through. Hang in there, im sure everyone in here will be sending you plenty of positive vibes. hun! I agree with Brunette too - have you told your DH yet? I think you need eachother.
xo Thanks for your care and support for me.I like the idea of the 2nd mortgage, ta but I dont know how we'd go as we already have quite a few loans

Renee ~ thanks hun! Ive been on the Crinone only. GL with your cycle, all the best!

Melttc ~ thank you but AF def arrived, I have BT tomorrow so will be interesting to see if there is HCG still there.
Miss K ~ thanks sweetie. Hoping for the best for you guys with everything crossed!!

Lairdoz ~ thank you so much. All the best with your following cycle - im so pleased you can do it straight away. GL

JBM ~ GL with your cycle. Im 100% sure the reason we got that little bit further this time is because we had supplements from my uncle who is a naturopath plus more accupunture this time. So im sure it will help you too, FX for you!

AFM ~ yes AF definitely here in avengence and complete with clotting so im pretty sure it was a Chem pregnancy. Will be interesting to see what BT shows tomorrow (day earlier), wether there is any HCG still in my system.
As I said in last post i think we may have to wait until we've sold our tractor. I wont be in as much for a while but will certainly be popping in and out. Thanks again ladies for your support! And all the best to each and every one of you

Hi everyone, mind if I join you? Just had my day-21 apt to start our first FET next month. We already have a little boy (almost 2) from IVF and we're hoping to add to our family. If you're interested, you can get a run down of our story here.

Has anyone done an HRT FET...? All those pills and pessaries! And it's soooo expensive! Damn my ovaries - i wish I could do a natural cycle.

    Anyway, enough about me.

Big hugs to those that have received bad news

I hoping there'll be some BFPs coming up soon

Marcellus ~ Good luck with the FET cycle next month. I was not fortunate in my last IVF cycle to have any snowbubs so I can’t comment on a FET cycle. However I know a few ladies who achieved a BFP via FET.

Melissa ~ Sorry to hear about your result . You never know it may be the one lucky snowbub in waiting that will yield that BFP very soon.

Em Star – Reading back on my last post didn’t really make sense?!? Hope you are doing ok and you have the information and support you need to cope with the stress. Thinking of you

Loops ~ Sorry to hear about AF arriving. I know when AF arrived on my first IVF cycle 4 days before my BT I was devastated. Hopefully you can sell your tractor soon and try another IVF cycle. I noticed in your signature that your DH has low sperm count\motility and thought to ask if you have seen a Naturopath about this condition to see if they can prescribe any vitamins or herbs?? My Naturopath requested my DH take Zinc tablets to improve sperm quality, count, motility and fertilizing capacity of the sperm. Just a suggestion.....

Lairdoz ~ I don’t know how many times me and many others have lost long posts. The secret is to write the post in word and then copy and paste onto the forum. Great to hear that you can start a new stim cycle and hope it ends in a BFP!!! When I completed my first IVF cycle and it was a BFN I wanted to get straight into another stim cycle but my FS advised against it. In a way the time off has allowed me to think about the first cycle and formulate a new strategy for the next cycle. Plus I wanted some time off during x-mas to enjoy myself and not stress about ttc. So now I am back and more determined!

JBM ~ It’s fantastic to hear that you are feeling much confident with the 2nd IVF cycle. I really believe you need to be positive and relaxed to maximise your chances of conceiving. I was disappointed with the result of my first IVF cycle but I have had considerable time to reflect and think about what to do better or differently for the next cycle. Like you I have seen a Naturopath as mentioned earlier and this Saturday I have booked in for my first acupuncture appointment. I believe a major contributor of not being able to conceive is due to stress. I have tried to tackle that by doing Yoga once a week, organised a cleaner to do my house work , cut down my work hours (I used to work 12 hour days sometimes 6 days a week) and I try not to stress over the little things. I have stopped drinking alcohol and coffee!! So like you I am feeling pretty confident about my 2nd IVF cycle and I guess time will tell.

Hello to everyone else I might have missed....

AFM – day 3 – started puregin injections today – yippee. Can’t believe I would be happy stabbing myself again but glad to know that I am now on my way. First scan is next Monday.

Hi guys, I'm jumping back in as I've started my first FET. My body is a strange creature as for the last couple of months we used an ovulation predictor test and I was surging on day 16 one month and day 17 the next. We've just finished a 30-day detox prescribed by my acupuncturist, complete with Chinese herbs for each of the three stages. Anyway, I only had to do two BTs as my surge was day 12 and most likely ovulation day 13! I'm hoping this detox has got rid of a lot of excess estrogen and brought forward my ovulation. March 1 is my ET so not long to go at all.

Marcellus, you ask about a HRT FET. What is involved in that? I have to take pessaries three times daily and progesteron tablets twice daily from day 16 due to spotting in between period and most likely LH problems. Is this the pills and hormones you talk of?

Hi to all those familiar names and some not-so-familiar!
