    Thanks Juniper

I didnt think i would have to wait long seeing as i am only taking medication to help thicken my linings ( i have the easy part of this process) and the money side is not too bad its only about $2500 each cycle after the first one so its HEAPS better than the $9067 for the first round.

    Hi Ladies,

I finally get my FET tommorrow, can't wait.
I have also booked in for NK Cell Test again for the 9th Feb.
I had to cancel it on my last cycle cause I got sick again and was on antibiotics.
So I don't get sick over the next 9 days

Good luck everyone for their cycles and transfers over the coming weeks.

Danyelle, I hope the transfer goes well today.

Afm, we saw our new FS this morning and i'm booked in for a lap and hysteroscopy on 10/3. He said he thought it was quite likely that I have endo, so hopefully this is the missing link in our treatments.

Mind you if one more Dr says that I have time on my side I may reach across the desk and throttle them! Seriously, how can you say I have time on my side because I'm 33 going on 34 and then say we'd be in trouble if I were over 35?

BJ*81 ~ Jabbing going fine thanks, only 1 small bruise so far LOL and minimal bad moods. Time is already flying by which is great, ta.
Have a nice break - time off. It should do you the world of good, sounds great!

Emerald ~ Hang in there hun, those others will catch up! And as others have said you may only need the one. GL today will be thinking of you with and toes.

Terry ~ Thanks you, everything is going well - well apart from 1 scare (see below). How'd your BT go! Hoping you got some answers if not a little miracle!

Jilly ~ Hi. Some clinics do 2 day transfers, others do 3 and others 5. Im doing to (Blastocycst) - 5 day transfer. They say the success rate is better with a 5 but then on the other hand you end up losing more eggs anyway so in the end I think it really just comes down to luck of the draw. There is plenty of success with 2 days as well I believe.
Wishing you all the very bet. F and TX for you.

Miss K ~ Yep anything can happen. Would be great if we had the transfer the same day - we could send each other good vibes! Good idea sticking to morning injections as you wouldnt want changing the routine to mess it up and I really dont think it could make much diff doing it at morn or night

Tammara ~ So sorry about your MC All the best with your IVF! Sounds like you have a wonderful cousin.

Danyelle ~ GL with your FET will have FX for today and that you dont get sick + for the testing.

Hi everyone ~ hope you are all doing well at whatever stage

AFM ~ Had a scare Fri morning - I ran out of Synarel spray in the middle of my spray the night before and was panacking because I didnt want to have to drive 2 hours and I was working too - Just to get more. Luckily enough they had one bottle at a chemist warehouse about a 45min drive from our place - so DH went to get it and he had it to me at work only about half an hour late - so all worked out good in the end pheww
I looking forward to my scan Fri to check on my follies - FX I get more this time so that I get some to freeze.

Loops- OMG bring on friday I say!!! I have my scan Thursday... And far out bet you were stressing about that Synarel I know I would have been lol!!! Like seriously they need to make it all more accessable for us when we need it not forever away

Juniper - Good luck with your LAP! I hope they find some answers so you can get that positive result!

Danyelle - Good luck with the FET and I hope you don't get sick FX!!

AFM - Sniff Jab Sniff take tablet hehe this is my life bwahahaha!! Scan Thursday and feeling positive but for no OHSS I just want my ovaries to play nice for a change no understimulation no overstimulation just normal please just once!!!

Juniper ~ All the best for your lap on the 10th and I hope they can remove the endo and increase your chance of success ASAP. I know it annoys me too sometimes how the dr's say you have plenty of time your still young but then we know that chances decrease by 10% after 30. (sorry for the downer there) but we need to be aware so that we can use this when we talk to the dr's as a reason to try everything in the book to help us no matter what age.

Miss K ~ jab, sniff, pill pop, jab, sniff, pill pop LOL. Yes I was definitely stressed when the Synarel ran out and yeh they should make sure it is more accessible especially for country people - they should make sure out local chemists stock it for us. At least my nurse was really good and told me where to go and answered my call first thing in the morning.
GL for Thursday - will have everything crossed for you!

Hi ladies, i think ive missed to many posts to be able to do persies so think i will have to start afresh.

I have my mum in hospital at the moment with a possible infected foot.last time she had that it was her opposite foot and she had staph and strep in it and nearly lost part of her foot and was diagnosed with type two diabetesand spent nearly three months in and out of hospital and over a year later still has a tiny bit that hasnt fully healed. She has been in the emergency dept of caloundra hospital since early hours of sunday morning and stilll not much wiser.doesnt seem like foot is too nasty mostly swelling and inflamation.she may be getting transferred to nambour hospital later today.she has her next chemo session this week and appointment with oncologist.which are both at nambour hospital.she started losing her hair last thursday.i think her cancer may no longer be early breast cancer, it may now be locally advanced as its over the 5 cm that early breast cancer covers.also seems like at previous specialist appointment that dr felt a lump under her arm too so waiting to see what happens at next appointment.mastectomy should be iin about a months time roughly.

I see gynae clinic next week to try and organize another laparoscopy to see if my endo is back or what the hell is going on with my body.Af finally showed up on saturday-nearly a nine week cycle and it was kinda a pathetic excuse of an af.reasonably light and not as long as normal.going to mention it when i see gynae.id have thought with having the fsh injections and hcg trigger and boosters it should have been around a normal length cycle, rather than still the long cycles ive had last 6 months or so.
I have my lipoidal hsg done next tuesday as they couldnt fit me in to have it done when im at the hospital for my gynae appt.so nurse has warned me im likely to be in some pain from it. i said i expected that since getting the pierced cervix when i had the iui.

Our furbabies are 8 weeks old this thursday so still trying to find homes for them but failing that our local bet shop wants to buy them

Hi there girls, thought it was about time I stopped lurking and came out of my shell. Atm I am in the middle of my first ivf cycle and have a nice splotchy bruised tummy from the jabs. It all feels pretty surreal really, we have waited so long for this and its finally happening. Hubby is currently dosing me up with buserelin and 150u Puregon every evening and other than horrendous fatigue and the odd little niggle, I don't feel any different. Can sure see why some of you girls wonder if there is anything going on down there . . . I go for a BT tomorrow to check for Puregon response and a scan and another BT on Friday with EPU hopefully early next week.
Anywho, good luck to you all and looking forward to getting to know you

Happy your AF came for you and I hope your system gets back to normal now and you can get back on the horse. Big hugs

Melissal ~ Your cycle is very similar to mine and Miss K's also. I have BT Thursday and U/S Fri, with EPU hopefully early next week also. All the best, FX!
Sorry also for your losses - hugs

    HI there,
Hope you don't mind me joining you - I am just about to start blood tests for my FET#3 which assuming all goes well the transfer will be early next week. I can already feel my anxiety levels growing as the days go by as I have no faith in my body or the process which I know isn't a good thing!
I have three embies left, 2 x 7 cell grade 2 and 1x 9 cell grade 3. I plan on doing one more FET after this if they'll let me and then take a couple of months off before doing a stim cycle. This is assuming of course I don't have a mental breakdown or run out of money before then!
Reading some of the posts here ladies, all of you are amazing! Infertility is a huge stress at times, so I hope this can be resolved by getting lots of BFP's in Feb!

    Morning ladies

Sorry been a bit quite been trying to get things done at work before my long awaited holiday

Emerald that your little cells continue to grow and that I hear some great news when I'm back

trubabe sorry to hear the news about your mum. My mum always tells me that out of bad news comes good news so hopefully your baby journey can turn things around for your family and bring you all some happiness

Loops & Miss K good luck with your journey hope your both growing some really nice follies

juniper76 glad to hear that you may finally have an answer to why its not happening and that you get your BFP really soon.

AFM well still no AF its been 40 days but I've had a BT and its negative. My Dr said its probably because my body is going back to normal and also because I've been working out really hard to try and drop some more weight. Funnily enough my FS rang yesterday with all the results for the BT's I did in Dec and I now may have an answer to my unexplained. Apparently one of my antibodies tests came back and I have a higher than normal level which may be fighting and killing the embryo on transfer and not letting it stick. Good thing is its treatable during the cycle but she wants me to see someone who specialises in this so that's happening mid March with hopefully a transfer in April.

So girls who have been told its unexplained don't just accept that keep searching for answers

Emerald- well done honey, that's a good result! Fingers x'd that they all get to blastys hey.

I'm doing this from my phone so I can't look back and see where everyone is up to....and my brain is MIA so I can't remember sorry. But I hope that everyone is travelling along nicely. Am sending you all the good thoughts I can muster

AFM- am going a bit nuts but at least have reached the half way mark. One week to go! Let's see if I can make it to next wed with my sanity in tact.

    Hi Ladies,

Good luck everyone with Scans, blood tests, EPU, Transfer & Little Embyros in the Lab multiplying.

Emerald Star: It was lovely to meet you too. I had a wonderful time chatting with you. I am so sorry if I rambled on too much (I can talk the leg off a chair ).
Yes, definately have to catch up again soon.
    How your embies going ??

Miss K: I too are addicted to Facebook, I play Cafeworld, Country life, Treasure Madness and Slot machines.

Terry: I am totally with you on the unexplained thing. And its not just bad luck or as they said to my sister at all the previous FS, "you just have to wait for the right egg to come along". Sorry that's crap. Get as many tests done as possible. And If your not sure on what tests to ask for I have a list of all of them that I did with Dr Sacks (Immunology Specialist here in Sydney) if you would like the information I can post it on this thread for you or PM .

Terry, May I please ask which tests did you do ?
Was it the NK Cells test that came back as Higher than normal levels. And if it was can what was your Total NK Cell percentage.

AFM: Transfer was on Monday all went well, had 2 x 3 day 8 cell embies tranferred.
And now waiting for 9th to do NK Cell Test. Fingers crossed I don't catch anything between now and then.

    Hi Ladies -

I have a quick question - did any of you ladies have antibiotics for a FET? I did for the stim cycle almost two years ago, but none for the FET's?

    Hi Danyelle

Thanks for offering to provide me with details. I am booked to see an immunology specialist in March so the more info I have the better. Can you please PM it to me. So far I think that the tests I did were pretty basic tested for thyroid, lupus and ana antibodies. It was this last one that came up to be irregular which my FS said may be causing the embryo not to stick so she referred me to another specialist to determine what sort of treatment I should be having during transfer stage. I must admit I feel quite foolish now not asking more questions but I was just so happy at the time of the phone call that there was now a possible reason why it wasn't working for me.

Good to know I'm not the only one addicted to the Facebook apps! I find they can distract me from my TTC stress on all but the worst of days. I'm another one who loves cafe world but I won't be able to play it much this month because my DH used up most of our data in the first few days and that game usually won't load when we're on dialup speed. If anyone wants to connect on FB, just send me a PM.

These are for our 2WWers: I'd put more in, but it won't let me.

Terry, I'm glad you've got a treatable answer! We're still officially unexplained, but hopefully not for long... I'm hoping our new Dr will be more receptive to doing more tests if the lap doesn't solve our problems. Our old Dr was reluctant to do any tests beyond the most basic ones.

Lairdoz, I've never taken antibiotics as part of any cycle, so I can't help you there.

Afm, nothing new on the TTC front (and probably won't be anything new until March unless we get another surprise). I'm just checking in to try to keep up with what everyone's doing and because I keep losing my local network connection so I can't do my work... Is it time to go home yet?
