    Hi all,

Well the good news is I am not going to be one of those annoying people who come into one of these threads and three minutes later has a BFP.

I had some not so great news today when I went for my scan/bt.

I only have two small follicles on my right ovary !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (12mm and 13mm)

I am CD 8 and I have been jabbing for 5 days so I was expecting more. That's the sort of result I was getting on the clomid. So I am just a little bit gutted. It seems like so early in the cycle to have a setback.

My FS was okay. She told me not to fret and put my dose of gonal f up to 415 iui. I also start cetrotide on Saturday and have to have another BT on Saturday and another scan on Monday.

I guess I was just hoping for better results....

N2L- oh darl, I'm sorry- this happened to me and I was devastated, my cycle ended up being cancelled ( I only had one good one that turned too big) BUT there is still time for them to grow esp with a higher dose FX your next scan gives you a better result. If worse comes to worse,I got a much better result next cycle with a higher dose so I'm sure the same will happen to you, sending you growing vibes for your follies xx

ntl - hope upping the dose works! I know there have been a few people on here who have had low numbers that have improved with the increased dose - hope your next scan is a lot better

    Katones - sounding very promising!

oneday - sorry you didn't get any to freeze, hope your tww is going well!

afm - transfer today was the best so far! No pain, no needles and no bleeding! Such a relief! On the down side, the first emby didn't thaw, and the one they put pack was only a grade 2. Of the two that I've now got left, the embryologist thinks it's unlikely either will thaw successfully, so if this doesn't work it's back to a fresh cycle. Trying to stay positive

    Hi all

Took my first dose of gonal f at 415iui last night and it has knocked me out a little. All day I have felt slightly nauseous and dizzy and a little tired. Hopefully it means it is working..!

I happened to read the information leaflet that comes with the gonal f today. OMG! It said they make the follistime alpha using the lining of Chinese Hamster Ovaries!!!!!!!!!! I kid you not. It sounds like they are making it up! I laughed until I realised I am injecting myself with this stuff. LOL I HATE RODENTS!!! lolololol

Kass- Congrats on the pain free transfer. I am sure your emby will be fine. Best of luck

Hello to everyone else. Hope you are all well.

    Take care

Me too, me too, been reading but very much a lurker this week.

Katones - everything is crossed for you hun. Hoping that your cramping is just lil bub snuggling in tight - being off chips has gotta be a good sign. How long do you think you can hold out before testing? Or are you one of these amazing women who can just wait for the BT result? Good luck

N2L - hoping that giant Gonal F dose is gonna kick those ovaries into action. When do you have your next scan? Oh just answered my own question - hope your E2 has increased nicely when you have your BT today. Hang in there

Oneday - yay for two nice little embies on board but that is a bummer that none made it to the freezer. Here's hoping you wouldn't have needed them anyway when you get a lovely BFP from this cycle. Hope the 2ww flies by for you

Kass - glad your transfer went ok. I've had one easy peasy one but the last one - OMG that hurt. Apparently I have a retroverted ute which doesn't help, but no mention of that was made during our first cycle, just the ouchie one so dunno if I do or not. I'm guessing they don't move!!!!!! Hope you have a nice cruisy 2ww as well (though do these exist?!)

Me - day 3 of stims today - YAY!!! This time round, things seem to be moving soooooo sloooooowly. I need to learn some patience. Had a shocker of a day on Thursday. I sleep really badly during down reg cycles so had a terrible sleep (as I did all week) so was tired and grumpy, it was the three year anniversary since my Dad's death so was sad and kept bursting into tears the whole day at work. So I had nice insomnia eyes plus an ugly cry face. I am not a pretty crier - stunning! Oh well, they should be used to me bawling at work by now, there has been plenty of it in the last 18 months or so. Still a tad embarrassing though!

Happy jabbing to all my fellow jabbers, a big HI to anyone I have missed and sending out loads and loads of sticky vibes to the 2ww'ers and egg growing vibes etc etc. Have an awesome weekend, chickies
