    Hi there,

had the call this morning and only 1 out of five has fertilised. So transfer will be tomorrow if we get that far. I think I am in shock and am not feeling positive at all.

ATM saw FS have to take pill this month ovaries are still active. So just need to get through the 2 weeks of pill and wait for AF to arrive at least I have a short cycle this time. Feel tired and hurt my back on Sunday when my daughter came into our bed in the morning and both me and dp get pushed to end of bed, I slept on the electric blanket control ouch my shoulder and back are so sore. Plus I slipped when we went to snow on Sunday so I think I hurt it more then

thanks loops and terry.DP finally got to see them and he has been giving lily plenty of praise.even though i was hand feeding her earlier i told her last few days that when she had puppies i would buy her a burger.so detoured to hungry jacks on way to getting DP from work and she inhaled nearly two whole ones with barely chewing them,i think she was a lil hungry lol.im down the other end of our house sitting on our bed typing and can hear their little noises every so often.figuring out nicknames for them at the moment as our first litter was named after the dogs in the movie snowbuddies lol

he he he trish this morning i went and picked up our slr camera off layby so we could get some really nice pics.charging everything up now so hopefully take some later and upload to fb tonight.
porsche-sis in law has wanted one since last litter they had so she is already in suck up mode lmao and another friend asked me last night about buying one as she wanted one last time too but didnt have money spare.also got a call about two months ago from a guy who bought one of our last litter asking if we had anymore pups.so may send him a message letting him know.i woke up this morning to a chorus of whimpers lol.when i went to pick up camera i bought a small heater for our loungeroom as we have polished floors and it was quite chilly there this morning so would rather buy a heater than risk losing any of them to the cold

    Just a quick one ladies

Trubabe - LOL - love how you bought mum couple of burgers! Yep keep em nice and toasty. GL with selling them etc etc.

Trueblue ~ Very sorry AF came, glad you were prepared hun. Still tuff however - (((GBH))) As you know we have done IVF/ICSI twice now so query me anythime throughout the whole process. You will probably do a down regulation cycle 1st which is where you 1st go on the pill for about a month, then you start on the nasal spray (not very pleasant stuff but you do get used to it) and you keep on that right up to near egg pick up (EPU) i think. AF comes though in between and the you start hormone injections (hope im getting this all correct), then similar to IUI you have scans and also BT's to see how the follies are going (you'll have more than with the IUI) then after I think two wks from the 1st scan you should be pretty much ready for EPU, you go under general anaesetic and at the same time DH will get his sample (not very pleasant for them) so then they can do all the stuff with eggs and sperm that day. ICSI involves injecting the best spermies into the eggs and hopefully (optimal outcome) is that they all fertilise. Then those that fertilise are hopefully and supposed to be dividing their cells and reaching optimal quality. Some people have 2-3 day transfer then or 5 day (blastocyst). Blastocysts (5day embryos) and supposedly better quality embryos but its harder for them to get to that stage so you might not get as many make it as say with a 3 day. Hope that all makes sense. The transfer is a little bit more uncomfortable than the IUI but only a little. pphhww. Please correct me If Im wrong anyone.

AFM ~ Have restrained from testing but going to tomorrow morning because if its BFN i'll be having a few bevies tomorrow night at a party - I'll be CD28. Still got sore bbs and a bit of a sore tummy but I think my tummy is from blowin my nose so much because my tummy hurts when I blow now LOL.

Thanks Loops, spoke to the nurse she says because my cycles are so clonstant that we will be able to go without going on the pill and should eb able to go straight onto injections and most likely nasal spray which i had when I was on first roun d of iui so that won't be new thankfully I know what i am in for. Thanks chick we are doing in it clayton and it'll be in september. I think dh took this round harder than me as I was already getting ready for ivf when he was still holding onto hope evn after the poas bfn and af arriving poor bugger

Trueblue - I'm sorry AF reared her ugly head but am happy to hear that you are being so positive. It is hard to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back in the saddle, but I am hoping for you that September rolls around really quick for you

Loops - How are you feeling? If your cycle is normally 34 days (if I remember correctly) will that mean you are only 8dpo today? I hope dearly that those tummy pains are a good sign and you get your natural miracle.

Truebabe - How are your pups going? I hope they are thriving. What kind are they?

Porche - Your clinic must be great, having Sunday appointments available. I hope you get the go ahead to start your jabbing. It's amazing how excited you get knowing you can start inflicting pain on yourself! At least it feels like you are getting somewhere.

Trishy - GL with your pill popping - I hope you are not having too many side effects

Terry - How did you find your accupunture? I had it once a week for a couple of months and found I had mixed reactions to it depending on my moods (of which there were many...lol)

AFM - Firstly, thanks for your support. I had a few hard moments on this cycle. Only 1 out of 5 eggs fertilised normally and ended up having a Day 2 transfer. The only thing keeping me positive is that the embie had gone from 4 to 5 cells in the 10mins before transfer, so will hopefully continue to do so. Am now in the dreaded TWW but am feeling OK at this stage.

I know that if I have to do another cycle again I will cope better as this cycle with my new FS and clinic was tonnes better and less traumatic than my last clinic (and doctor who would not even know me if he fell over me in the street)

Just a question, have those of you who are on FB noticed that you get advertising relating to infertility? It happens nearly every day. I have only ever searched a couple of things related to the subject on FB, but never joined or posted on any pages.....Are they reading my mind?

Hope you all enjoy your weekend.
