    Ladies

Well we have some good news an some bad news.

Good news first. We are PUPO!!!!! We transfered 2x 3day embies. 1 was fantastic and 1 not so fantastic.

We lost 1 out of the 9 embryos leaving 8. So transfered 2 leaving 6. But those 6 are fragmented so they will try and get them to blasto and see how many we can freeze if any.

    Oh well never mind.

    Hi Lovely Ladies

Oneday ~ FX your lil one survives the thaw hun! GL for Monday

Kass and Trishy ~ GL with the injections etc - very excited for you both!

Amy ~ Hope everything continues to get better - GL!

Danni-girl ~ Ask away hun! I think with the 1st time its a bit of trial and error but Im hoping you are one of the lucky ones and it works 1st time for you, GL. Yes i did find it very hard to keep the right timing for the Synarel, I think its ok to be an hour or so either side. I kept my alcohol to mimimal when doing cycles, but mainly when it came to injections - i tried not to drink at all then.

True ~ Awesome hun, so excited for you guys and can't wait to see you tonight

Inshelligent ~ Dont feel guilty - im sure every one is happy for you. Huge CONGRATS! You deserve it too!

SpringLola ~ Hi and welcome. Yes askaway - no probs. All the best for your cycle. GL with the sniffing.

Porche ~ GL with the two on board and FX you get 1 or 2 to freeze as well!

AFM ~I know i said i wouldnt track where Im at but ive still been doing temps last couple of days and I dont know what my body is doing because Im at CD18 and dont think ive ovulated yet. Unless ive missed it - but I dont feel i have yet and if I had my temp should be up Oh well if doesnt happen naturally we still have our IVF coming up.

Thanks loops just a quick one, before DH and i found out we needed IVF and were trying naturally i would check my temp every morning before i got out of bed so that it was a consistant time, i ovulate fine but i never found charting my temp worked for me? it never went up and down like it said it should on the temp guide it always seemed to be around the same number, so i gave up on that after 2 months. I hope this helps?

Thanks heaps Oneday. I think I'll be doing the same somehow, my temping seems to be all over the place as well. Mind you I do have just a real cheap termometer from the supermarket so perhaps that's why. Although I dont think i'll bother anymore. Ive never had troubles ovulating either, so I think I'll just relax and let nature take its course. Thanks hun

My prayers and wishes are with us all!

    Hello!

Hope everyone is well and having a nice week end. Firstly, I'd like to say congrats to you inshelligent! Great to hear the good news. Good luck oneday for your transfer on Monday. So when did you say you find out results? Sending you so much baby dust!!
Good luck to everyone else as well
I'm still spraying away and can't wait to start injections - I have my down regulation scan on 26th August so not long to wait now til I start the stimulation side of things! I soooo hope it works for me first time.

I went out to dinner last night with my girlfriends and every single one of them has a baby. Two of them are pregnant with their second and last night yet another one of my friends announced she was pregnant with her second!! They were talking about babies and pregnancy all night which was hard on me but you get that I suppose. It's not easy. I'm sure you all know where I'm coming from!

Its looking good amy_jellybean!!! goodluck with it all. The internal ultrasounds can be a bit invasive but my lady nurses always do those but my transfers are always done by the DR whom is a male, at first i felt a bit uncomfortable but now in just used to it lol.Iv heard so many ladies say there clinic has mean nurses, i feel terible for you girls because everyone at my clinic is so lovely. My clinic is only a small one so there is only 4 nurses that work there so i know all of them and its always the same reception lady. My head nurse gave me her personal mobile number if i ever need to contact her on the w/e, and actually on the w/e i had to go in to the pathology for a BT and the form had gone missing so i contacted the nurse and she came into the clinic on her day off to refax another form!! i felt so bad but brought her a box of choccies to say thanks. But you know what they should all be like that, IVF is hard enough without having to deal with horrible ppl at the clinic.Good luck ladies. im really nervous about 2mo, two lots of acupuncture and our last embie please god please xxxx

loops I did my charts for ages before having C, before seeing the naturopath I sometimes ovulated late day 25. She regulated it for me, so maybe with all the hormone stuff it has just messed up the time you ovulate.

goodluck for Monday oneday in case I dont make it in tomorrow.

danni-girl yes we all have days or nights like that. I even have a 2 1/2 year old that keeps asking for a baby. So the pressure is on. F'xd the next night out you have with them, you can announce some exciting news

DIR I have read people AF being later, mine was a couple of days early. So I think it can go either way. Glad to hear the job is going well and no more headaches

oneday86, my nurse told me (cant rememeber the word she used) something stays in your system, plus when I was going to do a back to back and couldnt my ovaries were still active and I had about 3 or 4 follies whilst having my period so I think your back pain etc is just left over hormones etc in your system.

amy-jellybean blahhhhhhhhhh rude nurses and docts, get some bedside manners or find another profession. I know I seem to get more follies on the side I am due to ovulate on. Your FS should be able to answer your questions about the inactive side, obviously you want to know why. Glad to hear your results have gone up.

one day I have everything crossed for you.

springlola the spray made me feel like I had a bad sinsus infection

Kass I sometimes, have no trouble with injections, no pain, no bruises and then I hit a spot and think ouch that hurt and end up with the worst bruise.

    hi saffy welcome.

ATM, feel tired and have a bad headache which I think is from lack of water yesterday

    Hello Ladies,

I am back AGAIN lol. Need to try and post every few days because my posts end up being stories.

Question to start off with... For those that have used Synarel, did it delay your AF and for how long? I know a delay doesn't occur with everyone but just trying to work out how many people it does affect as I have booked my trip to Brissy and trying to work out if I should alter the dates.

Trishy: How are things goin with you? Good luck with the scan on Monday!
I was so annoyed when the government restricted the amount we get back, its like they are playing god sometimes with their stupid policies. Include the dump policy in Melb which requires police checks and dhs checks,
I have to agree with what you said. Also I think it is wrong that those going through IVF have to have police and DHS checks, I think it's BS and it's not people's fault that they can't conceive naturally. They go through enough without having to worry about Police and DHS checks.
It was great timing with the job, I started the new job on the 6th (Monday just gone) and I haven't had a headache or felt sick all week, so definately the right move.
It's annoying when you go to post something and it disappears, now before I hit 'submit reply' I copy it, that way if it diappears instead of typing it all again I just hit paste and it's there.

Amy: How is the cycle coming along? That's annoying they put you on the wrong dose, but it's on the up. FX everything works out though. Hope you mum's feeling is correct. FX FX FX!!
I have been hearing a lot that the needles cause bruises after being in the fridge.
Thanks for the advice on the Synarel, gee I hate that burning feeling of chlorine but you are right it is all worth it.

Loops: How are you going? How did your trip away for the summit go? Hang in there as your little miracle is hopefully not to far away, keep up DTD as much as possible and if that doesn't work, remember October is only around the corner and it will be here before you know it.
I did my temps and mine was always up around day 21-22 and I also used the OVU saliva test, which I bought both online. Do you have regular cycles?

Kaybee: I can't get over how long it took the doctors to to a D & C. Glad you have finally got it sorted now and are on your way to babydom.
The new job is a Sale/ Administration Role and it's great, I haven't had headaches or felt sick at all this week, so definately the right decision.

    Coll: How are things going?

Trueblue: Hoping everything is going well for you! WooHoo for the ICSI cycle coming up. It's less than a week away. Exciting times!
Yay on the first lamb for the season, hope it's a good season all around.

Hello Kimmi and welcome! Good luck with your current cycle, FX crossed this is the one for you.

Terry: How are the things going with you? Sending you lots of , hope this is it for you!
Thank you, I hope the change is a sign of things to come.

Trubabe: That's not good that the tablets were making you sick, you will get there.
How are the pups going? Getting big I bet.

WAMM: How are things going with you? Everything on track again?

Porsche: YAY on the PUPO! FX that this is THE ONE! Sending lots of PT's your way! GL Sweetie!
Sorry to hear that the embies were fragmented. Hopefully you will still get a few to freeze.

Mindhugs: Sorry to hear of what you are going through, it is devastating. Thinking of you!

Tantee: Congratulations! Sending lots of PT's your way that everything stays on track.

Danni: Hello and welcome. Good luck with your TTC journey. Hopefully this cycle is it for you. No need to apologise for the questions, that's what we are all here for.
Each case is differnt for when they send you for scans. With myself the FS told me I will be having my bt around the 7th-8th day of injections and the scan will be around the 11th-12th day of injections. My cycles normally goes 32 days so the amount of days in your cycle can also alter it (does that make sense or help you out).
It can be very hard being around people that have babies, are pregnant, etc. You can also start questioning "will it ever happen for me?", stay positive because it WILL happen for you and when it does happen you will make a great mum and it will be very special to you and mean so much because you know what you had to do and wouldn't let anything get in your way of your dream of having a family (if that all makes sense).

One day: FX this is the the one for you! GL for the transfer and the TWW, hope it goes quickly for you. Sending PT's your way.

JBM: Hello and welcome back. Even if nothing is happening with TTC with you at the moment, don't feel left out, we are all still here if you need a chat, etc. October is not far away, wishing you all the very best for it.

Kass: Good luck sweetness! Hope this is it! FX for you! How are you finding this cycle?

Inshell: Congratulations on the BFP. Don't feel guilty about sharing your news because it gives us all hope and keeps us from giving up! Hope it all goes well for you xoxo

Spring: Hello and welcome!! GL with your cycle starting tomorrow. Ask away and we will do our best to respond. Looking forward seeing you around.

AFM: Things are still on track, the FS has brought start date for Synarel a day forward, so I now start sniffing on the 27th of September. I am looking forward to it, also get a bit of a break from the Outback as we have to go to Brissy and will be there for 3 weeks, which will be good as we don't need to concentrate on work or anything and we can relax.

Well sending lots of ss to everyone's way.
Also a big hug (used to many smilies) to everyone.

Thanks danni_girl and dreams into reality i have my blood test on the 26th of august although if it dosn't work i will know on the 24th (when AF is due) im on a natural cycle so my period will come through if i don't concieve but fingers crossed this is the one. I honestly think the fertility drugs have really messed with my body, i have lower back pain AGAIN!!!! i always get it during a cycle but this being our first natural (no medication) i thought i wouldn't get any pains this time? Im really confused, AF isn't due for over a week so it cant os shouldnt be related to that. I had a blood test today and having another one on monday before the transfer to keep an eye on my progesterone level. Best wishes ladies and goodluck xxx

    Hi girls,

Shell - Thats is fantastic news congratulations!!!!

Trishy - Yeah DH bosses know what is going on but he is using all his sick leave up now and we cant afford for him to be in unpaid leave

Porsche - Your new avvy looks stunning, god Sarah is good at what she does!!!

Loops - Thanks for the well wishes hun, im going ok over here x

Spring Lola - Welcome, I hope your stay here is short and sweet for all the right reasons!!!

Oneday - Good luck for Monday hun, im sure this will be your sticky bubby I have been getting really bad lower back pain while on these injections, I just wish I could take something decent!!!

True Blue - Congrats on getting a start date, it made it feel so real when we got ours.

Danni - I try to take my syneral every 12 hours, but some days its 8 hours and other days it might be 11. My FS said this was fine. I take mine about 7.45am in the morning just before I leave for work and then take it at about 8pm at night. I just had a look at my sheet and I have been on Syneral for 19 days and ive been on injections for 10 days so far. Im guessing ill prob be on them a few more days and then go in for egg pickup. I started on 100 of Puregon because of my age but they have found out that im a slow responder, on my day 8 blood tests they doubled it to 200 and now my numbers are going up nicely.

Dreams into reality - Syneral delayed my AF by about 2 days, not long. Thanks for the well wishes love, ive popped where im up to in my cycle below, and updated my blog if you get 5 mins to have a look.

AFM - I had my bloods taken again yesterday and it was DH's dads birthday. He lives 3 hours out of the city and we were going to stay the night at his pub (yes jackpot, he owns a pub!) haha. I said to DH I bet you I ring today for the results and they tell me I have to have my ultrasound in the morning. Sure enough, I called yesterday afternoon and they said I did and also repeat bloods. My bloods yesterday were at 900 so going up!!! So we had to leave at 5am this morning to come home I had my bloods repeated and the results came back at 1700!!! Woo hoo! The ultrasound was horrible, the nurse was a b*tch and very clinical, rushed and just rude. The doctor was ok but I was a bit shocked that they didnt warn me id be having a male doctor, not that it mattered but a bit of warning would have been nice. I heard him say to the nurse "one the right side 14, 12, 9 and 8" obviously talking about the size of them. Then on the left side he said "left ovary inactive"

When I rang to get my results the nurse said they dont normally elaborated on the details of the ultrasound, it just gives them an idea of the size of the follies in comparison to the E2 levels. When I asked about the inactive ovary, she said it is quite common to have one more dominant than the other but im still not convinced. When I inject myself my right hand side cramps up but the left one doesnt at all and I feel more swollen on the right hand side as well.

Im going back tomorrow to have bloods done again and fingers crossed my levels are still going up!

Sorry for the mammoth post, hope you are all well!

    Hi ladies

Well it seems as I took time out on the weekend this page went into overdrive

Hi and welcome to the newbies hoep your stay in here is short and sweet. Ask any questions you want the ladies in here are all wonderful.

Oneday glad everything went so well for you today come join me in the other thread its quite lonely in there at the moment.

loops I so hope you manage to catch that little egg before your next transfer. Don't stress if it doesn't show up on tests I can never get a line when I test but when I have bloods done they can always find the surge

trishy hope your feeling better today

Kass hope your still travelling well with your injections

Amy hope your bloods are showing that everything is now travelling nicely for you and hopefully you had a more sympathetic nurse. Don't they realise how stressful all this is on us.

Hi to veryone else I've missed

AFM waiting is ok at the moment. Hopefully my little embie is still growing and getting ready to snuggle in. Have a sore back and pretty bloated though and my throat is killing me to the point of me wanting to rip it out. Nearly one week down with one more to go

Trishy ~ 12 follies so far - that is great!! GL over the next few days, FX

Oneday ~ Excellent! GL in the TWW hun

Terry ~ thanks heaps hun xo. Maybe baby is the saliva test - i usually just go by that and also normally extra CM as I usually get a fair bit. Im not too worried and as it so happens earlier today I had quite a bit of CM (sorry if TMI) so perhaps im just O'ing late and coming into it now. Think we'll have to go to bed early tonight Im hoping all those things are pg signs for you, FX. GL for the rest of the TWW and hope to see you with BFP next week!

AFM - think my body is finally starting to O now ... CD20, although feeling slightly lightheaded this arvo so maybe already caught the eggie. Wouldnt that be great! Wont hold my breath but.

Just a quick question, I had to make up my cetrotide injection tonight and I had a bit of trouble and lost some. It kinda bubbled up out of the vial, has this happen to anyone. Stressing a bit that I havent got enough of a dose and may surge.
