    Hi girls,

I had my LH suge yesterday so my FET is booked for next Saturday- yay!!
Interestingly, I was doing my own OPKs just to double check and even though my BT was at 10am and picked up a surge, my opk at 4pm was neg and only became positive today! Weird, it must only pick up a really high level.

Yogi- best of luck for a good result today, its so nerve racking isn't it!!! You only need one as everyone says, so hopefully this is the cycle that gets you over the line xx
loops- any sign of AF?- hope not!! Have you caved and poas yet??

I think we're the only ones in here @ the moment, so the pressures on us 3 lol!

I have a hell week at work this week then once I'm in the TWW, its couch time/dvds/knitting and implantation (FX)

    Hi ladies,

Saffy, Good luck for Sat. Hope you get all your work done so that you get to indulge in some guilt free relaxation.

Loops - how are you going? Have you managed to refrain? I think that when you sign up at the clinic, you should automatically be given shares for an hpt company. I know I have spent an absolute bomb on them over the years I hope this is the month for you

Yogi - How did you go yesterday? I so hope that you had success. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Kaybee - so nice of you to pop in and check up on everyone. I hope all is going well for you, I hope you enjoy the exciting time that is coming up for you, best wishes to you xxx

N2L - How are you going chick?

Melissa - How are you feeling. I hope you are feeling much better. What is your next plan of attack?

Hiya Happybaby - hope you are going OK. Where are you up to at the moment?

AFM - same old, same old. Still in the land of confusion... argh! Had a nice, albeit very quick, trip to the ACT and took in a lot of the sites all in 2 days. Had never been there before (unbelievably as it is not that far from Syd) but found it an interesting place.
Just trying to plan out little things to look forward to and cross a few things off my to do list so I feel like I'm achieving something.
Hope you are all having a good day.

Hi girls! thanks for your well wishes. I got a surprise 5 eggs yesterday, thats the most we have had since my very first cycle 4 & half years ago!!....but this was short lived as 2 were immature, so just 3 were injected. But 3 is ok as is our 'magic' number!! Anyway, am now waiting impatiently by the phone to see if they fertilised ok? Still not sure whether they are going to Day 3 or 5 as they take it day by day and see how they are progressing before making any decisions...personally i just want them back in me ASAP, maybe i'm just an over-protective mummy!!

So Loops have you done the dreaded pee yet??!! I hope you get two lovely lines come up

Tantee, good to hear you had a nice time in Canberra. You are right i think its important to plan enjoyable things to look forward to, otherwise this whole ivf ttc thing can take over and get too overwhelming! So what do you have in stall next??

Saffy, all the best for saturday . So it that Day 5 embryo transfer? I think we are timed together in our cycle exactly!! ...we can go crazy on the 2WW together!!

    Hi to you all
    Yogi

Ok, we are just hangin in by the skin of our teeth...just the one fertilised normally! For all the extra $$$ spent on the 'wonder' drugs this is the same as our result doing regular ivf over 6 mths ago!! Feel cheated and let down and most of all feel like a failure! i know that every time I do a cycle it always makes me feel like a total failure, why cant my body behave nicely for once!! Anyway, we have transfer tomorrow, hoping of course that this one survives the night! I think i am going to write this cycle off, just too much energy to keep having hope.
Sorry for the downer, i know i am still in the game but i just feel like the end is finally here. Think i just need to accept it and get over it and move on!

Yogi ((big hugs)) You are NOT a failure. The strength and determination you have displayed for so long and so often is incredible, it is no wonder that you feel cheated. You deserve so much to have your dream come true and become a parent after all you have been through. Your little mite may well just be a real fighter and cross the line for you (My best IVF cylce yet happened with just the one little embie ferilising normally and a Day 2 transfer)
I don't pray every day but I will say a little prayer for you and your little embie tonight.

Loops - to you hunny, that sucks . Nope we didn't get 18 eggs, only 6 but 18 follies were drained with lots and lots of little ones left, hence the giant big bloat.

Yogi - FX that your little one is a beautiful one. I totally hear you on wondering why our bodies don't behave normally - it is SO frustrating and heartbreaking. Hang in there chick, it only takes one.

Saffy - YAY for this cycle being more hopeful - wishing you all the luck in the world for Saturday hon

Tantee - how are you doing? Have you been able to talk to anyone about your clotting issues? Or can someone point you in the right direction at the very least? Interestingly for us, it wasn't my FS that even referred me to a haem, it was a rheumatologist but I have always felt my FS doesn't particularly like having to ask for others opinions. Hope things become a bit clearer for you soon anyway. How is your hand going?

Mia - welcome chick and hoping you are one of the lucky ones who succeed first go. Good luck to you

Me - finally starting to feel normal-ish again. Best weight loss ever, have lost 6 inches off my waistline in four days!!!! I did end up ring the clinic and yeah, ohss which they weren't at all surprised about. I can finally eat again which for me is a huge thing cos I like my food but it was just so damn uncomfortable and didn't want to stay put once I had. Gross. And I am SO sick of powerade!!! However, all is good now, thanks for all your concern. Was probably a good thing we had no embies for transfer, given how I felt last week. Next plan is a few months break before we start all over again in October. I'm having a few weeks off work right now too which is a really good thing because I need to get back into the right headspace plus in between working fulltime, I am studying parttime and have assignments coming out my ears, have a research project I need to get sorted plus a month of teaching in August. How I ever thought I would cope with all that at the same time as ivf is totally beyond me now so break is good

Mia ~ sorry I must have missed your post the other day, . Sorry for you m/c and wishing you all the very best with IVF - hope it works first time!

Mel ~ oh please excuse my ignorance LOL - that sounds horrible. Glad you are feeling better and 6 eggs is great. they are all of great quality!!

Hope everyone is well today. Thanks for the hugs - really apprciate it. Feeling pretty low and down today and frustrated with DH - probably PMS, hopefully it will pass soon, still waiting on AF but I do have spotting - so maybe starting the pill in couple of days and hoping we can get the IVF money together by mid-August.

Hey Loops, I hope your day has improved.
Yogi - I am hoping that your absence from here today means that you were out getting PUPO , have been checking for you all day
Hi Melissa - Glad to hear you are feeling better and a little more back to normal

Hi girls, thanks again for all your thoughts...means a lot

Yeah i made it to transfer yesterday, after a 2 & half hour drive to sydney in the pouring rain...was pretty hairy and must admit i was not exactly nice & relaxed going in but thankfully we have our precious one on board, was only a 3 cell and to be honest am not holding out much hope. I did get to sneak in an acupuncture afterwards so if nothing else it helped me relax and i've been trying to get things back into perspective again. I have to be grateful that after 9 egg collections we have always made it to transfer, even if we are just down to 1 now, i know others struggle sometimes to get this far so i cant complain...i am still in with a shot!!!

Loops, so sorry to hear it didn't happen for you this time. I hope the money pressures are easing for you and that you can try ivf again soon. It totally sucks having the financial strains through all this as well, sending you big hugs

Melissa, glad to hear you are feeling better now, what a bad time you have had lately. Sorry that this cycle was so unkind to you, but sounds like you have a great attitude and looking forward to trying again...you are a strong woman and please be proud of yourself Enjoy your time off and good luck with the study too, what are you studying??

Mia, welcome and hope your ivf journey is short & sweet.

Happybaby, tantee, Saffy...thanks again for your thoughts and support. I'm sure you will help keep me sane over the next few weeks
Saffy, all the best for saturday, will be thinking of you xxx

Have a great day ladies, good things are just around the corner.

Thank u all for making me feel welcome

    Just a quick comment/question:
I recieved a letter from my fs which incl d bt form she forgot to giv me d oth day but also had a letter for my gp. All d letter said was pretty much wat we discussed in d apptmnt BUT then it said that she though i may hav insulin resistence and /or ovulatory problems??? Wtf!
She said all my results wers good now all of a sudden i hav issues?? I know my testosterone level was a little high in one of my bt rsilts but that was ages ago so shes gettin them done again now. Now im stressing that im d issue?! anyone had this experience?

    Thanks lovely ladies
Yogi ~ you sare definitely still in with a shot!!

Mia ~ sorry havent had those kinda concerns as ours is a male factor issue but I hope it turns out to be nothing. whatever may be wrong though hun, is definetely treatable. It's harder when its male factor as there is not much that can be done.

AFM ~ pretty down as it looks as though we wont be able to afford the IVF and AF is definitely on the way
Can anyone tell me what their bodies have done after a chem preg: following cycles - long etc ?? ta xoxo
