Oh my god I'm first. YAY!!!

Shan - I am so sorry for your results. I so wish that you were able to hear some fantastic news. But congratulation also for your very brave descision.

Congratulations on your weight loss plan girls. I too have been told to lose 10% of my body weight. I've never thought of myself as overwieght. I weigh 70kg and am 160cm tall. I am pear shaped. I carry a little bit (being nice to myself) around my waist and bottom. I have been going to a personal trainer for about 2 years now and she's setting a 6 week plan for me to follow. I have to lose 7kg. I did get down to 65kg but I let myself go and put the weight back on. I'm determined to lose weight. I am not going to let weight come between me being able to have a baby or not. THAT IS NOT GOING TO BE THE DECIDING FACTOR!!

We can all support each other and have a weigh in day. We can do this. GO TEAM!!

I hope everyone is really well and lookng after themselves. At the moment I'm a little bit drunk as I've been drinking Cosmopolitans all night. Need to relax, unwind and destress after this week.

I'll pop in and catch up on personal tomorrow. Need to refill my glass (giggle, hiccup, giggle).

hehe Dan, I have been in the red wine, AND writing an assignment, I think it is the most inspired work I have done in ages LOL...wait til I read it back tomorrow

I tell you though and I am sure I won't be alone here, how hard is it to lose weight when you have a tendancy towards emotional eating. I have been oinking out all week and had to take stock again the last two days (whoops with the wine tonight). Mind you all it does is make me feel worse, especially when I have PMT and feel nausious anyway.

ETA - do you think we could do a new role call, I was checking the details on the front page and mine are a bit old and there seems to be a few girls who have dropped off along the way?? as well as some new starters

Morning Dan & Jane...

I was reading through your posts this morning and thinking how true it is, and how much support we will be to each other etc etc etc,

And......then i look down to my plate of bacon and eggs for my breakie and i realise that i'm a very naughty girl...LOL

Mind you i did finish it off. I think this was the end of my Sunday morning bacon and eggs. Maybe i will have to go to poached egg on multigrain toast..hhhmmm yum???

Anyways i'm sure they are going to tell us that if we want to continue with our discussion on weight loss to join the weight loss threads, so i'll see you all over there...

Although, it makes sense that we'd be all trying to look after ourselves better while TTC weight issues aside.

Well I am counting down the days until I see Lyndon Hale my new FS, July 18 seems quite close now, only this lot of PMS and one more until I see him gosh this is hard trying to hang in there, I am so over the PMS and pain. I reckon this TTC business makes it so much harder to cope with, plus I am so sick of being in limbo not doing anything, it is extremely frustrating.

Chookie - I will try and keep the coals burning on the BFP express altough unfortunately the one I am on keeps stopping all stations. (I can see myself with one of those little blue caps the train drivers used to wear)

Dan - I hope your relaxing night helped and that those cosmos did the trick

Very True Jane....i guess we'll know soon enough if the mods tell us to take our weight chatter to the other threads....so i guess until then we'll just have to wait and see what they do, coz i agree, it is part of TTC and i would hate for us in here to get lost amongst all the other girls down in the weight loss thread......Maybe we could start a sticky in the conception threads somewhere for those wanting to lose weight whilst LTTTC etc....what do you think Mods...

Jane - Your appointment is getting so close! I know I am putting the BFP express in good hands with you driving

I hope we can stay in here and talk about our weightloss. It is a really hard thing to have to accept that weight may be playing a factor in not being able to concieve. It takes courage to say it out loud and set off on a journey to do something about it and it is important to me to still be surrounded by all you lovely ladies. For me I am happy as I am, my DH loves me and my life is good. If I wasn't having so much trouble TTC I probably wouldn't be doing this. But I am and having a baby is my TOTAL motivation for getting healthy & losing weight so I still feel like I belong here.

So as far as I see it, it is a part of LTTC and I would be sad if we had to go and talk about it somewhere else.

Good morning Ladies,

My head is a little bit fuzzy this morning but I feel a lot better now and tomorrow is the start of a new thinner me.

Well on TTC today is CD34 for me and I have absolutely no idea when AF will arrive (bloody PCOS). Each cycle seems to be getting longer by adding a few days each cycle. So working on this theory my last cycle was 52 days so I still have a long time til AF, in theory anyway.

My next gyno appointment is the 3rd July when we will be getting our treatment plan to get us pregnant. I'm so excited but it is taking so long to come around. Isn't it weird how it takes so long to get your doctor to start working sorting out what is going on and then when you know you can't get things going quick enough. I just want to be able to see the look on my husband's face when I get to tell him he's going to be a daddy.

I completely agree with you guys on how us losing weight is totally a part of the TTC journey. I can't really see any difference between temping, checking your CM and talking about how we are going with weight loss.

Jane - I really hope that the time flies until your FS appointment. It is only 29 days. It will go so quickly especially when you think we're already in the middle of June.

lil_chookie - do you still have a seat available on the "Weight Loss Express" I'm standing on the platform ready to jump on.....great idea to support eachother through this.
At least I will have something to work towards whilst waiting for our next IVF attempt. This sitting around not doing anything is driving me nuts (OMG - am I having IVF Clinic withdrawals ????)

Hi everyone

3 days left of my TWW !!!!!! Im in 2 minds about the test. i wanna know but i wanna enjoy the feeling that i might be for as long as i can before i get any bad news ( if that makes sense

)

Im panicing because i am feeling lots happening down there, AF type feelings but after reading that thats alot of girls symptoms for the first month or two im trying to stay positive !! I do seem to have some other symptoms that they listed sore bbs, reflux, peeing all the time, and gas. Not sure if they are just side effects of the progesterone gel or not ???? Guess i will just have to try and stay sane til Thursday arvo when i find out for sure. Please keep your
