No im a peg girl as well! We have red and blue pegs lol and hubby runs out and switches them to be a little bugger! lol!
I have this thing about being touched, for instance, if you were to poke me on my left cheek, i would (very inconspicuously) (sp?) poke my right cheek ... the feeling has to be even, lol so when for say, i stub my toe, you will find me holding both feet instead of one lol!!
I also am a straigh fanatic ... i bought paternless plates for that reason LMAO! Annnnnd my desk at work, is a laugh, lol my wall has paper pinned up on it, all with the same coloured pins and in an orderly fashion lol and there are either 2 or 4 pins in every page, never less, never 3 lol even though i like the number three!!!! OMG! I am feeling so weird right now!
hehehe, you got me there with the touching thing. That made me laugh. I can just see you kicking your toe and grabbing both your feet in agony, lol.
Why is it that DH always wants to do things the opposite way that we like it just to get a reaction from us. It must be in the male species make up to go out of their way to bug their wives.
Before starting my own photography business I used to work in a bank. Fitting really as I am a numbers girl. It did get a little stressful at times though when customers would bring in their deposits and have all their notes facing in different directions. I think that the bank started my plate obsession cause you have to place all your notes in the draw with the window on them facing the same way. It's funny how things stick with you.
WEll, I am glad that I am not the only "different" person here. Thankyou so much for that.
Thats ok! Lol! I find the only way i can handle all these little "control" issues i have is to laugh at them ... lol
oh one more for ya, i can't STAND it when power points are left on and nothing is plugged into them ... if they have something in them im fine, but if there is nothing and they are sitting on i will go and kick them off ... i got away with it until one day my FIL noticed it and now he runs around and turns them on to see if i will notice ... he gets a good giggle out of it, now its an on going joke ...
must be a man thing, whether they are your hubby or not!! Bahahahahaha!
I hear you. Another thing is we have two way switches for our lights down our hall. You know the ones that you can turn them on at one end and then turn them off at the other. Well I don't like it when there is no lights on but there is a switch facing upwards like there should be a light on. If DH uses the two way and the switch ends up like that, I'll go and turn the lights on and back off again until all the switches face the right way. It's a bit silly really and really pointless but I let it get to me and I really do not know why. Maybe I should try to learn to ignore this stuff.
Wow, we nearly filled up this new thread with this stuff, lol. Sorry everyone else for having to witness our unusualness.
Well i keep thinking of things i do and i am beginning to sound like a real mad woman!! We have a halway switch like that, i also have a ritual before i go to bed, andt drives me insane if i don't do it just right! Yep ... im mad!!
ok i have an app on the 30/06 with the FS to get my clomid!! YAY!
Oh ladies you have been giving me a right old laugh, Miss Kris I totally understand the power point one, I can’t stand them being on with nothing plugged in. I’m not a coloured peg person but I do pick the pegs up in even numbers. The TV and radio volume used to have to be on multiples of 5 (since 5 is my favourite number) but I’ve grown out of that one. Oh the things we do, I used to think that I was just highly strung, but the more women I talk to the more I discover I’m not alone. Thanks for the laugh, just what I needed for a Tuesday afternoon. Nice to not feel alone!
Hi Girls
Just wondering if I can join in on this thread again. I used to "chat" in here way back in 2006 2007 when ttc my DS. Now I'm back about to start Clomid this week(af arrived yesterday) and have been taking Metformin since February too.
As you can see I have a healthy little 2.5 year old and have 5 little angels playing in the clouds and am hoping for 1 more earthside bubba. I have PCOS and a few other things going on. I'm just looking for some support during this clomid journey as I remember its a bit of a tough gig to deal with at times.
of course you can join Mako! Your journey sounds quite similar to mine actually. Lokking forward to getting to know you.
Jules- Isn't it funny that we can feel we know someone whom we've never actually met? I feel like I know you guys, and have shared so much with you all. I'll bet a few in here will be in a BB thread with you, when you get UTD! (when- not if!!!) You will get another precious Earthbaby becasue all of the patience and pain and grief has to amount to something wonderful!
Ahurani- I always thought 6 cycles was the max, but my FS seemed to think becasue it was working (I did fall pregnant 3 times over the 12 months, but none of them sticky) we'd just keep going with it. It wasn't until the last m/c that he put me on gonal (injectable FSH). He's never mentioned a lap, IUI or IVF. I am giving the clomid another 2 rounds or so until I have my new FS appointment in August. It does seem way to long doesn't it?
AFM: I've finished the Primolut N to induce AF, so now I just wait for a very painful period. Hopefully will arrive on Monday so I can deal with the a=ouchies at home and not at work. 19 rambuncious 5 and 6 year olds don't meld well with cramping! I best be off, I'm supposed to be writing reports and I'm stalling (again!)
Down but not out,
Bec
