Hope & Krsi- you guys are hilarious. It's ok though. At school we refer to these behaviours as 'aspie' as in just a little bit asperger's! We are all a bit on the autistic spectram, some of us are just further along it than others...(lol!) as for numbers I am an even number girl too, but I can usually rationalise. 2011 could be 2+0+1+1=4 so still an even! just a bit aspie, as I said!
Jules- current FS is Dr Gronow and I'm book in with Dr Kate Stern in August. Both are with Melbourne IVF. Kate is supposed to be a bit of a PCOS expert and she also has done studies on recurrent miscarriage too. I'm not holding out for being UTD by then, but maybe... Interesting you said about the psychic. I'm going to book into to a lady in Bacchaus Marsh who's apparently fantastic. I fully get your fears about m/c. I'm almost dreading getting UTD for fear of m/c again. I'd rather not get pregnant than suffer it again. Yah for an earthbaby next time! Sorry (and congrats) that lap didn't turn up anything. Like Kel said maybe it's just a clean out that's needed? FX fr you & GL for your IVF appointment.
Porsche- Thanks so much for your boost. I think you deserve it more than anyone with the year you've had. Maybe you'll o later than usual? Apparently that can happen on clomid. GL for your appoitment with IVF and nurse.
Keli- so glad your scan went well hon. I'm totally living vicariously through your pregancy you know, so keep us up to date! I can't believe that women at work said that! I thin I would've had trouble holding my tongue.
Liz- How exciting; a new nephew to cuddle! Enjoy the cuddles, I'm told baby vibes can run off (my MIL insists that it's true. I'm not sure...) GL with the provera.
I know I've missed something important, but I can't get back to the other page to check! Hi to all, GL to all no matter where you are in your cycle, and FX to those heading to IVF cycles.
AFM: Thanks everyone for you kind words. I'm still feeling down becasue I had to start to Primolut N to induce AF, but I'm looking at it as a fresh start. I'm having tomorrow off to spend time with DS, we might do something special to cheer us both up! Just planning a weekend away for Dh and I for our anniversary in July (maybe I'll ovulate an it will be good timing ) so I'm looking forward to that.
BRING ON THE BFP's guys! GL to all
Bec
How is everyone going? I see you all found a common subject in querky traits. BAHAHAHAHA it gave me some entertainment tonight reading through them all.
Well I am starting to lose hope on Femara, DH and I are discussing going straight to IUI now. We have there referals to go and get all our blood tests. Still more discussion to be had, but I will keep you informed if I am moving into a different forum.
Good luck to you all, I hope we all have success this month.
So funny that many of you have similar little 'habits'. I was having a giggle & thinking, yeah I do that too!
Liz - Congrats on being an Aunty! GL on the Femara I hope you get your BFP.
Nelly - Sorry to hear you are on a downer about Femara, I would probably just go to IUI now too. May as well get the ball rolling. GL
Bec - Definately book in - it certainly helped me deal with some emotions about ttc # 2 - I had a bit of a cry when she asked what my q was.... I hope you can get some positive affirmations about # 2. I hope if you end up having to see Dr Kate Stern that she can give you a different perspective & approach. It is definately a bonus she has the knowledge of PCOS & recurrent m/c. GL
Keli - I go back to work at the start of July but I have to take half a day off when I first go back b/c I have the FS appt - they will love that! lol Not on Clomid this round Dr Tarrant didn't want to give me anything incase it interferes with what the FS wants to do. Sort of glad about it cos the side effects were not pleasant for me.
Well DH & I have talked about really going for it next cycle (waiting for AF to come tomorrow) whilst we are waiting for our FS appt. I asked him did he really want to & he said yes, so we will be busy DTD every second day - we had success with conceiving DD that way. (I am not really looking forward to the every second day) I am hoping the lap 'clean out' will be our saving grace but I am not going to get my hopes up too high.
Better go, got a real estate appraiser coming out later today & the house is a mess
Nelly - I agree with Rhichichi. Maybe you need to move on to other treatments now. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Rhichichi - FX you get that illusive BFP before your FS appointment.
AFM it's time for me to move out of this thread and into an IVF thread seeing as we are doing that the end of this month. I'll keep stalking you all and praying for your BFP's!
Porsche: GL with the IVF. I have everything crossed for you. Please keep us up to date.
Rhi: Fingers crossed that what worked for you once before will work for you again. I am sure the lap was a good starting point.
epayne: Enjoy your visit with your nephew. Hopefully the baby dust will rub off onto you.
AFM: I got my 21 day prog results today. NOt as high as last time but still pretty good. It was 54.5, ovulation occurred again this cycle, woohoo. Just waiting now to see if AF arrives on Monday or there about. Hopefully not but if she does I make an appointment with OB to go for a lap and than we move on to IUI. I'll be sure to keep you all up to date. I'm kind of glad that OB has decided to not go on with clomid for months and months and just wait and see if it will eventually work. I feel confident that this is our year to have a sticky baby. Baby dust to all of you.
Thanks for the welcome girls. Tomorrow is the day I start clomid and I'm feeling a bit nervous about it all. Its been a while since I was on it last and I didn't become pregnant while taking it but did O each month and it did help regulate my cycles so am hoping for something along the same lines this time as well as a bfp if that is meant to be. I just don't want the hyperstimulation and ovarian cyst this time round. Oh well I guess time will tell of what's meant to be. So wish me luck for the next however long its going to be. I don't temp or anything either. I'm trying to keep things as "normal" as possible for DH and I as last time things ended up feeling very pressured (as in when we NEEDED to dtd and not for fun or enjoyment) and its taken its toll on us in that area of our lives kwim.
Anyway I'm sorry for no personals but I have to be honest and let you know I haven't read the previous posts yet but I'll try to catch up on what everyone is up to very soon. I hope we see lots of BFP's in here and all in the not too distant future
Rhi you didn't offend me lol! You girls couldn't get me outta here if you tried!! *Grips door frame* lol!
I was reading about those injections and *shudder* gosh i hope i don't have to do them! I can't handle needles ... let alone doing them to myself!!!
Hi and welcome back to the new ladies!
I better scoot! Im at work! hehehehe!
*baby vibes* for everyone!!

: spelling errors!! oops!
wow Mez, congrats on being 16 weeks, must feel awsome.
Welcome Mako, hopefully your time in this thread won't be long and you will be posting a BFP. I know what you mean about being pressured, my last cycle I don't think DH and I didn't DTD as often as we should haave I think (sorry forTMI), but I didn't O anyway so wouldn't have made any difference. Anyway GL with TTC and FX you don't have to bad of side effects and you get a BFP soon.
Rhi and Porsche, best of luck with your IVF journeys hopefully you will get a BFP soon, and please keep us informed on your journey's, you're always welcome and it will be great to see how you are going.
Bec hopefully when writting this AF has started for you and hasn't been too painfull.
Hope, big hugs coming your way for the BFN, and like Rhi said, at least you know which step is next for you, so FX it works out ok.
AFM I finished taking my provera tablets on sunday so now just waiting for AF to arrive and then start taking clomd for 3rd time. DH is hoping that the side effects are the same as my last cycle which were nothing. I am too but aren't getting my hopes up. Well I'm off for a snooze before I have to go back to work, I'm on split shifts for the next 2 weeks (6am-9am then 2pm-6pm).
Babyvibes to everyone and hopefully we see some BFP soon.
Hey Rhi..... regarding you lap question...to my surprise my lap didn't affect my cycle at all. I had the op on day 8 and AF arrived on day 32, which is usual for me. And it was on the next cycle that we conceived, so I have my fingers crossed it will be the same for you. I got the all clear on my lap too, so I guess I just needed a spring clean, a reboot, and hey presto! MY FS said I should wait 3 cycles after the lap before trying IVF as he has seen so many women fall pg after the lap. GL!!!!
Hey Rhi, yeah I was quite similar to Mez, I got my AF early infact, it started about 2 days after my lap. I'm not sure if that is normal though, are you able to call your FS? Were you on Clomid prior to the lap? Do you normally ovulate without clomid? Maybe you will need drugs to kick your cycle going again. Even after my lap I still went back on Clomid and it was the 3rd cycle that we concieved. I have every believe that this is going to be your answer. Sorry about all the questions hun! GL Xxoo
Oh yeah....I should have said I was back on clomid for my first full cycle after my lap (the one we conceived on). I was only on 25mg though which was great as no side effects and happy to report no octuplets in my belly!
