Bec that is great news about you app. Oh the fun of jabbing yourself, what sort of cycle are you doing, IVF or IUI?? sorry can't remember if you have said anything. goodluck with it all.

N2L poo on AF showing up I was so thinking you were going to post your BFP this cycle. And like Porsche said, IUI is alot cheaper than IVF and alot less invasive. And IKWYM about DH's not been comfortable with IVF, I am thinking I am going to have an argument with my DH about IUI soon. I was wanting to do the full IUI cycle next time if this cycle doesn't work, and he keeps saying but "nothing is different, all they do is squirt it up there instead of us DTD". I know it shouldn't matter but I just want to move forward, as if we do have to do IVF then I want to start saving, due to us not having an ubundance of money we will have to stop doing everything and save for a year or 2. (sorry for that little rant). I have everything crossed for to to get UTD this cycle so you won't have to worry about it all.
Well I am day 3 of my TWW and already I am dying to do a test. This cycle has been quite different to my first assisted cycle, it took more jabs to have my follie the right size and last time my boobs were killing me after I had the trigger shot and this time there is nothing. Hey I'm not complaining as it is so good not to be in pain, but man I wish I knew what my body was going to do. Hope all of you lovely ladies are having a good week, yay it is nearly over.

I am not even going to attempt persies, it's been so long! It didn't help that I lost the thread, but also everything has just been so crazy! I hope that everyone is okay?
This cycle has been better than last, I am far more relaxed and not as full on in thinking I am pregnant everytime I feel a twitch! I am CD18, but no idea if or when I ovulated, so can't say where I am really. I have had some light pink spotting when I wipe, which I think might be related to ovulation, but can't be sure. Other than that, just hot flushes and headaches in the last couple of days (not sure why the headaches). Basically I am just waiting for AF this month, rather than worrying about where I am in the cycle etc. I guess I am trying to pretend I am "normal", IYKWIM?

Am new to this thread my df and i have been ttc for 16 months now and have been on clomid for the last 4 months 50mg days 5-9 and what a whirlwind that has been with all the side effects i got from it. Am back to the fs next week to see what we will do from here. Not sure if we want to stay on clomid anymore or move onto something next as my cycles are still all out of whack. Am on cd30 wanting to test but holding off as my last cycle was 35 previous to that was 34 then 37 so a little hard to know when to test as we are over seeing a negative result.... Just seeing if anyone can give me a little insight into what i could be expecting next after clomid....

Hi Mooz and welcome to the thread, the ladies on here are just wonderful and the support and advice is fantastic. I am guessing from what you have said about your cycles, that you are infact ovulating, so that is why your clomid dosage hasn't gone up. I'm not sure about what your FS will say, but I know for me the next step was IUI, but I myself didn't ovulate on clomid by itself even at 150mg. GL with your journey and hope you get the answers that you want.
WBM IKWYM about trying to think you are "normal", but with what we are going through, what is normal, not every cycle is the same. Oh I just realised that we are in the same part of our TWW, GL with the waiting game.

Hi epayne thank u for your kind words and yes what is normal when each cycle can be so different. Yes i did ovulate on my first cycle with clomid i had a bt on day 23 and my fs said i had ovualted and there was no need to put my dosage up as the levels from the bt where high, he also didnt think he would see me again {nor did i} but he sure will be next week lol. GL with your tww aswell i hope your af stays away with mine

hope everyone is doing well whatever stage of your cycle your on, hoping to see alot of BFP really soon from you all
as for me i have had a horrible last couple of weeks, as you may know i have been on metformin since 02/06/10 and got AF a few days after starting, i have had AF constantly the whole of this time apart from 6 days when it stopped at around cycle day 30,and i got high hopes that maybe it was working and that i was going to start to be somewhat normal but sure enough 6 days later it started again and has been going ever since, and this past week has been super super heavy, and to top it off i had to get a referral from the doctor for my appointment next wed with sydney ivf and he was just a rude arrogant man, for starters we kept telling me i seem stressed why would i be stressed i have nothing to stress about, and man i dont think he knew that i was going to yell back at him, i replied with " i wonder why i am stressed this has been going on for over 5.5yrs with everyone telling me im young it will happen and no one really wanting to help me even though every doctor knew i had pcos and was going to need help to achieve being pregnant, and every year that they keep telling me im young i keep getting older, so yeh i am stressed and i have a valid reason to be" he then went on to tell me even fertile couples only have a 30% chance each month and even if i only get my period 2 times a year then i have 2 chances and not to worry, that sent me even more angry and i just thought to myself where on earth did you get your doctors licence because you sure lack on the caring and helping side of it, he didnt even care when i told him i have had AF for going on to 5mths, and then he tried to tell me that the endocrinologist i am seeing is wrong to have put me on metformin as it is going to do nothing for me, i told him that i think i will take the advice from a highly regarded specialist over a local gp, i finally got the referral after walking out of there crying and also fuming in anger, and i see dr hilary joyce next wed so hopefully she will get the ball rolling and actually care and take and interest in us and actually want to help us achieve getting pregnant.
I am so sorry for the long rant i just needed to vent to someone as i am still angry today about the doctors visit yesterday. Also i dont know if i should post in here or somewhere else but does anyone know what our first appointment with sydney ivf will include and how long after your first appointment do you really start to tackle the problem, i really want to take it by the horns and get it going straight away.

Kristie you need to get your self a new GP. It may take a month or so to start any treatments but they will take a whole heap of blood from you and they will require a semen analyisis done on your DH before they will start any treatments.
Do you need to do police checks in Sydney? I'm in Brisbane and we don't. Maybe get the ball rolling on that as well for both of you. Maybe call the clinic and ask what paper work needs to be done before treatments can start and that way you can get the ball rolling and not sit and wait to be told. Unfortunatly you yourself have to be a little pro active in this stuff.

I just wanted to thank everyone on this thread. We were TTC for 3 and a half years and after 8 (horrible) months on Clomid we has success!!!!
During the 8 months on Clomid, I felt very alone until I read about people like myself who were going through the same thing.
We are now due to have our first baby in February

Sounds promising hun! Awesome news. When I had my scan prior to trigger the follie was 17 & they were happy to trigger me, so hoping the egg releases & you catch it! GL.

WBM - Sorry I can't answer your Q but I did take Vitex for a little while but had no success, whereas my GF did. Not sure if you can take it with Clomid as well - you might need to speak to a Naturopath. In relation to upping your dosage, that is something that your Dr should be able to consider, but like one of the gals said, it isn't their speciality IYKWIM?

AFM- Progesterone is 57 & they were umming & ahhing whether I should do another 'booster trigger' or not..... They did say it may make my cramping worse (I have lower minor abdo cramping ATM), so I am to do another trigger anytime tonight & back on Thursday for a pg test.
Hope everyone enjoys their w/end. Weather in Melbourne is suppose to turn nasty
