Liz & Claudette - Just want to echo what the other ladies have said. *Hugs* I remember the FS telling us they go slow, slow with the meds then up them if they need to, so they might be just trying to figure out what dose is right for you. FX

Liz & Claudette- I know what you mean! It's so disappointing! hugs guys* Just give it a little time and it'll happen
Thanks Jules, Liz, Hope & Rai on your best wishes to Xavi. he pretty good, my little trooper! He isn't in too much pain, which I am amazed at, and I really hope it's not becasue there is nerve damage or something! We have another check on Monday, so hopefully still going well.

AFM: My scan today was not all good, although not all bad. Nothing at all on my right, 1 biggy (not mature enough yet) and 4 smalls in the left. Up my dose to 112 (like you Liz!) and rescan Monday. Although my FS isn't working Monday so she is sending me to the u/s place at melbourne IVF, which also isn't open Monday! So I don't really know what to do. I'm waiting for FS to call me back. I'm feeling a bit niggly so I think I'm coming up for o, but we'll see, I've been wrong so many times before!

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Thanks everyone for the warm wishes, I think I have just gotten a little overwhelmed with eveything I think. Oh I don't think I have written it down bout I am CD22 for me today.

Bec that is good to hear the Xav is feeling better. Also great news about the follie. For the last week I have been getting niggling cramps and since yesturday having the larger dose it feels like my ovaries are having spasims. I think that is why I was disappointed at the scan, thinking that I was moving forward in the cycle from what I was feeling.

Hope everyone is travelling well and we get some good news on here soon, think everyone needs to hear good things can happen.

    Hi all

I agree with you epayne. It's been months since we have had a BFP. I think Porsche was the last one. Unfortunately, good news isnt going to come from me this month. AF is definitely on her way I have cramps at the moment

I can totally relate to how you feel epayne. I feel the same way. It is good to have youth on your side though (sorry, you are probably sick of hearing that). But there are new processes and technologies being developed all the time at such a rapid rate. By the time you are my age (39) I think there will be a way to fix all fertility problems! Not sure if that helps at all, but keep your chin up and take care

Bec- hope you sorted out where to get your scan. I am kind of in the same boat. I was meant to have a scan on the first couple of days of AF (for the endometrial hyperplasia investigations) but because of FS being away on Monday and Cup Day I will now have to wait until next cycle. Very annoying! Good to hear your little boy is on the mend. I have had DD to the doctor this week too. It must be the season for it! Good luck with Monday's check up!

Everyone else, hope you are feeling well and not letting this whole LTTTC thing get you down.

    Take care all x

    Hey all,

    Sending everyone tons of *hugs*

    We definately need another BFP!

Not much to report here - had my first u/s to see how my follicles are coming along and they are about 10mm. She said that they should grow approx 2 mm per day, so it sounds like I am on track. Have to up my dosage to 67 and go back Monday for another u/s. Hoping that the follicles keep growing 2mm or more a day so they will be above 14mm when I go back.....

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all well

    Hi everyone,

I am excited to start BD on my first round of clomid. I'm CD 14 today so now is the time to start!. Haven't felt any O pains yet, hopefully in a few days i will. So frustrating not knowing exactly when to BD as it is hard to fit one in all the time!

    Wish me luck
    And for everyone else!

Tasha- yah! GL with pinpinting o, I hope it doesn't make you wait too long! FX for this round

Jules- Glad things are happening for you! So they would be expecting you to o about Thursday? How are you finding the jabbing? I had a doozy yesterday; huge bruise! Other than that I'm not findinf them too bad?

n2l:bugger about AF, I hope she stays away!

Liz: I'm sure things will start happening, sometimes it just takes time. I wish we had some exacts!

How is everyone else? Porsche, how are things going? All good I hope? Claudette- how was your appointment? Shan? All our lovely graduates? Hope you are all well!

AFM: Well I haven't managed to sort out scans so I'm just gonna wing it and go on Wednesday. If I o before then, well so be it! I'm not sure how those of you who've done the FSH injections found them, but I've found my mood swings are shocking! I am a blubbering, angry, anxious mess, and I am barely managing to deal with even the smallest change in my routine! I feel aweful! I just want to o and get it over with so I can stop the jabs. I was like this when I was pregnant, but at least I knew I was getting a baby out of it! My FS said I may not even o this cycle, and she'll be happy if we get an o in the first 3 cycles! ah, no, I WILL NOT BE WAITING THAT LONG!!!!! Sorry for the rant, I'm hoping I can get on top of things this week!

    Enjoy the weekend ladies,

    Hi Ladies,

Sorry I haven't been on for a while, rest assured I check in to see how your all progressing. Every time I see a new post, I jump on and see if it is a BFP.

Yas, PX, Tasha - welcome! Starting on clomid is such a daunting and overwhelming feeling, there is so much emotion from frustration to hope that runs through your veins when you start off. Add to the mix the side effects that drive you insane. From my own perspective I found this forum and the group of girls who post here to be a godsend. Everyone is so lovely and supportive and really helpful. It's important to be able to vent and share your feelings with people who truely understand. There is no else out there that will understand as well as these lovely ladies. To give you hope I got my BFP after my second cycle on clomid, I was TTC for 12 months prior to this. I hope your journeys are as successful as mine! Good luck xx

N2L & WBM - I was a raging maniac on clomid, it actually reminded me of when I was on the pill Diane. One minute I was nice, the next minute a total b*tch, the next I was crying like a total baby. Clomid does this to you. I remember on my last cycle, DH and I had a massive fight about me going to Melbourne for his friends fiance's hens. We fought all morning and then we went to the movies with a friend of ours, and spent the whole time scowling at each other (our poor friend). It did settle down for me when I got my bfp - so something to look forward to. How are you guys going with other SE. N2L, how did you go with your specialist apt. Will be good for you to have a next steps action plan, although I hope you don't have to use it and you get your BFP this cycle.

Kris - was good to see you pop your head in and say hello, I have been thinking about you and wondering how your going. I hope that your next steps are succesful, but I am pleased to hear you are being kind to yourself and giving yourself a break. I know how much you want this. It will happen hun!

Bec - How are you going? How is your DS? You & Jules are always on my mind and I always jump on when I see you two have posted in hope that I see your BFP post. How is your weightloss going? I had a little giggle at your post about DTD and thought that would be murphy's law if you ended up with triplets!! Would be exciting for you though. How long have you got to wait now before you can test?

Liz & Clamage - I was sorry to hear that you both had no follies that must have been devastating. Liz, I know it feels like you aren't "meant" to have children, but believe me that isn't true. I honestly think that this all happens for a reason. For me, I was feeling really down about it, but when it happened looking back on it now the timing was perfect and everything fell into place it was like it was all meant to be. You will be a great mumma and this will eventually be behind you and it will just feel like a bad nightmare. Hang in there sweetie.

Jules - sounds like your progressing well, when is does your TWW commence? GL xxx

Kelli, Tammara, Hope, Porsche - How are you lovely ladies going? Kelli, haven't heard from you in ages. Tamara - I can't wait to hear how you go with the birth. Hope - I hope those two little bubbas are thriving (do you know what you are having, you must have had your Morph scan by now).

Shan - How are you doing darling? How did you go with your resistance training program?

AFM - I am well, I am 20 wks on Saturday, am already pretty big so who know what I will be like at the end! Take care ladies and I am hoping that you all get your christmas wishes of BFP's.

    HI guys,
Sorry I haven't been in for ages! I just have so much on my plate at the moment. I won't attempt to catch up, becasue I don't know where you all are in your cycle. Welcome to the newcomers, I hope you all have a short and sweet journey!

AFM: Well after all the hoo haa with missed scans and the like I'm not sure what is happening with me. I think I ovulated last Mon/Tue, but who knows. I got a blood test Monday to see if I did, I'm just waiting for the results. I think nothing is happening, and it'll just have to induce an AF. I'm also sick with the flu, so I'm all over the place.
I will be in more often I promise!

    Hey all,

Hope everyone is well, sorry I haven't been on posting - I have been stalking as such then run out of time to post! lol

Welcome to the thread Princess Xanthe and Yas, you'll find tons of information & support here

Tasha - Starting Clomid is a bit suck it see unfortunately :S It is hard to gauge what is going on without monitoring. I only had bloods taken on CD21 to confirm I had O'ed, which showed I did but I had no luck on Clomid, so that is why I am doing IUI (I just hand around here cos the IUI thread is soooo quiet plus I love all the gals here!)

The side effects I had on Clomid were insomnia, hot flushes & the really bad emotional stuff - I was particularly prone to 'losing it' at the drop of a hat :/

Pumpgirl - Glad to hear all is progressing well for you, 20 weeks has flown by

Gosh, I have just realised how far back I have to go for perssies.... crickey time flies

I will just post hellos to Tammara (Where is that baby!?), Kris, Liz, Bec, Claudette, N2L, WBM, Keli, Jope, Porsche & Shan plus any lurkers or anyone I have missed. Phew, there are alot of us

AFM -Tomorrow I get a blood test to see if I have ovulated and if so, back on the 24th for pg test.... I hate the tww :/

    Hi all

Havent got much time for a post but thought I would stick my head in and give an update re: our review appointment with the FS yesterday. DP did an andrology test and the results were really good so that is a bit of a relief. We have booked in to start IVF in February (antagonist and ICSI) so that's a pretty big step. In the meantime, I will continue with clomid. The big surprise when I was there I had a scan to check follicles. Although I was only CD13 I had a 20mm follie on my right ovary. In a nutshell, this means my follies are getting bigger earlier. I am about to surge (according to HPK) so it will be a weekend of BD-ing for us ; - )

Anyway, just a quick update - as I said.

    Write more later (or tomorrow)

    wishing everyone well x

    Hi All,

Well I need some help (as usual)! Anyone have LPD? I realised that the two months that I have now ovulated, my period is coming way too early! The first month, my GP told me I probably just ovulated twice, once earlier and then the time I picked it up with OPK+ (which was a nice thought), but I don't think that is the case and the same thing happened this month. I got AF last night, and I was only about 10 DPO, maybe 11. It was exactly the same the last month I ovulated 10/11 DPO. I realise this is treatable, but I think it has highlighted the need for more a more hands on approach with blood tests/follie scans etc. I guess that's what I find frustrating about doctors. They love to give you some advice and a prescription and send you away for a few months and hope you don't come back! I have my next appointment with the OB/GYN in two weeks, and he said he would refer me onto a FS is I wasn't pregnant by then, and now I am definitely going to pushing for it!

I read too, if the LPD is related to a the Coprus Luteum, that a higher dose of Clomid may actually improve the follicle and there fore CL quality and fix the LPD? Has anyone here had success with lengthening their lutuel phase with Clomid? I am only on 50mg, thinking that maybe it's enough to get me ovulating, but not enough for good quality egg formation...?

Congratulations Tammara. Were you told you were having a girl, I can't remember if you said you knew definitely or just had a feeling. It just goes to show that we never know for sure until they arrive.

Bec have you got your results yet?

n2l hope you had a good weekend that will result in your BFP

Mel can't really help with your question but maybe you should ask your specialist about it

Porsche how did the announcement go? You must be the best secret keeper ever.

    Rhi good luck for thursday

Tasha FX'd that you caught that egg

Pumpgirl I haven't started the resistance class yet as I have been away the last couple of weeks but I start this Thursday. Took a while to find music and then to get the timing right but I think I have it sorted. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to clairesmummy and welcome back bumbumg

To anyone I forgot sorry and hello

AFM CD 58, day 5 primolut. Had Dr's appt on Thursday and seeing as my chart was all over the place he did and internal US. Right ovary covered in lots of little cysts and a huge cyst in my left ovary. Started me on Primolut for 10 days to bring on AF, upped my clomid to 150mg for last try. I ahve an appt on the 23rd December to see if the last try worked. If not the next steps are Laparoscopy and needling my ovaries and if that doesn't work it is IVF. Dr didn't sound very hopeful either after doing the US.
Went to Brisbane for the weekend (Powderfingers last concert was awesome) and of course every where I turned there was pregnant bellies and bubs. After Thursdays appt it was a bit depressing and I was glad to get home.
Sorry for the gloomy post but if I can't vent to you guys who understand the gloom then I will just keep it bottled up until I lose it.
Thanks for the feedback on Primolut Bec, really not looking forward to AF now though, it is painful enough already and I don't know how I will function if it is worse. Doesn't help that i have had crampy stabbing pains for the last 2 weeks already and they keep getting worse. Also did you get a constant hot flush from it? I don't seem to be able to cool myself down.
Will be interesting to see if the increase in the clomid dose increases my SE. It did las time so if it happens again noone will be able to even look at me without getting their head bitten off, lol.

Long post sorry but it has been a while, (sorry it was mainly about me, lol)

GL to everyone in their TWW and anyone about to O. We really need a BFP in this thread.

    Hi Ladies

Tammara - OMG a little boy!!!! I hope you didn't do an all pink nursery lol. He might get a complex. Congratulations anyway. Sounds like you had a tough labour and YAY for the epidural. Gotta love the epi!. And 9 pound whooly dooly. A nice um healthy weight. Enjoy it while you can. And good on DH for being an angel. He must be proud as punch.

Bec - Ah if you forget to call, you forget to call. No biggy. So you call a day or 2 later. You do have a life and I'm glad it slips your mind because you aren't thinking about TTC 24/7 IYKWIM.

Rhichichi - When is your BT? Must be comming up soon? FX

Hi to everyone else. And good luck for your current cycles.

We did the annoucment over the weekend. Started by sitting the kids down and putting the ultrasound DVD on and asking them what they thought. So they are excited. We then went down the coast and told the BIL & his wife. And as predicted she wants to do the baby shower lol.

We then told DH's Grandma and one of his aunts and now the whole world knows lol. We hadn't even walked in the door at home from telling them and we were getting TXT messages lol. Cat's out now. Who's idea was that??

Tammara!!! A baby boy! I hope you weren't too shocked with all the drama, and are coping ok. I had an emergency c-section too, Xav was a whopping 10p 1oz, so I know it's not easy to come to terms with! But he's here and he's healthy and you are finally a mum. Awesome! Lots of love to the three of you!

Porsche- I'm glad the big reveal went well, and I'm sure everyone is so excited for you. It's great the kids are so excited, they will be a wonderful party of your pregnancy this time I'm sure.

Shan- now that you mention it, I did have hot flushes on the prim. It wasn't as bad as the clomid ones though! I am the same as you, I see preggo ladies everywhere! I went to a friends house warming on Saturday, and EVERY SINGLE COUPLE has a baby under 1 or a big preggo belly! I felt very odd one out! Soon that'll be us though!

BumBumG- I'm glad you're finally able to start the clomid! GL with no SE!

Hi Tasha, Clairesmum, and JEnniesmum, so I haven't formally introduced myself and said hello! Hope you're all going ok!

Hi Jules, Pumpgirl, how are you both going?

AFM: I still forgot to ring and get my results! I felt vaguely AFy today, so I might not have too! At least I'd know I ovulated. I have been sick as a dog since last Wednesday and I'm finally on the mend, so I feel like I can manage the phone call tomorrow.
    I'll keep you posted,

    Hey Ladies..
I hope you dont mind me joining the thread.

Ill give you a little background.. My DH and I have been TTC since June 2009. I have been diagonsed with PCOS, and have an appointment with the FS next Tuesday. At this appointment I am going to talk to her about starting Clomid...

I was wondering who is on clomid? and how you are finding it.. How long you have been on it?
