I am on my second clomid cycle now, 50 mg CD2-6 with a scan and trigger on CD12. Last cycle was an early loss. Hoping for something stickier this time.
Rai: i haven't really discussed whats next with the specialist (but am seeing him beginning of feb), as clomid had worked for me before i was hoping not to have to go further than that but it doesn't look like it will go well this time. i hope af arrives for you soon so you can get onto clomid
tasha: what would be the next step after clomid ? how are you coping with the 2ww ?
mum2onesweetbun: try and hang in there til 10 dpo, i always say i won't test early but always cave, its so hard, hoping for a bfp for you !
maruschke: interesting that you have the scan and the trigger, is that common with clomid ? i have only ever been left to ovulate myself....
afm: im already having niggles in my ovaries after only one tablet, when do most people take clomid, im doing it day 4-8 but last cycle ovulated on day 24 !! so late in the cycle

I have just taken my 4 Clomid pill for my first round I am cd 2-6..
Maruschke - When you say scan and trigger... Do you mean like a BT and ultrasound? My FS has me getting BT's cd 8, cd 12, and so on and so forth...with the odd ultrasound here and there.. Im so confused lol
minniemouse - I don't know much about all the other things to try, but I do know that they can increase the mg of clomid up to 100 and 150mg. Then there is trigger shot, I think it's a shot of hcg that makes the body ovulate if the clomid doesn't, but i'm not sure about that one. Then theres IUI and of course IVF. They say that you should ovulate 5-10 days after your last tablet of clomid, but i ovulate about 12 days after and i take it days 2-6. HTH
Hi everybody! I haven't posted in forever. TBH i haven't really been wanting to think about (or talk about) anything to do with ttc. It got to depressing. I am on cycle 3 of clomid and 9dpo. i have a little secret to tell hehe.

And yes, I get an internal ultrasound CD12 to check follie size, and an ovidrel (hcg) trigger so they know for sure when I ovulate. Last cycle I got 5 follies, 1 mature and 1 borderline, the rest too small.
Minniemouse - I was set to take clomid days 3-7, but this month I changed it to 2 - 6. I have had lots more niggles in the right ovary. Which is great as that's the side I need. I normally O around cd13 and have a long LP. Well wee what happens this time? I have no idea so really checking the signs. Gonna start the opk's tomorrow just incase.
rai - You amaze me! Right back there. I suppose you really didn't have a choice, but your strength and positivity is really showing through x

Mollie - Try not to panic. Just listen to your FS for now. Let them do what they need to do to help you. 1 step at a time hun x
So CD9 and still feeling the effects. So hot last night the air con didn't even help. Great little twinges in the right side (come on follies!). Good luck ladies!
