Hi everyone!
Looks like everyone is either just starting a cycle or just finishing one. Good luck to you all!!! Hope to see more BFPs in here soon.
Just a quick note to all
clomid is to grow the follies and sometimes is doesn't actually make the body ovulate, hence the ovidrel shot. It is quite common. My advice to all of you is INSIST ON BEING MONIOTRED CAREFULLY! Scans or BT on day 21 at the very least.
2nd: In between clomid and IUI is a drug called FSH (can be gonal f or purogen) and it's injectable but it does the same job as clomid only more direct. clomid works on the pituatary gland to make it produce the hormones to grow follies, and FSH works on the actual ovaries. It works the same, you do it at home and then have scans and the give you an ovidrel trigger to o when they are happy there is only 1 dominant follie.
Then after that IUI amd IVF.
I've found success with FSH after 3 m/c with clomid pg this round, and I only kept going with the clomid becasue I was scared of the needles! But they weren't bad! I just wanted to let you know that there are other options.
Good luck ladies, I hope your BFP is just around the corner!
