Ladies, thank you very much for your answers. You put my mind at ease a bit, at least I know I will not necessarilty get triplets on Clomid :-)
I live in the US, and the doctor I am seeing is a fertility specialist, the best in the area. My friend just went through IVF cycle with him and now she is pregnant with twins. The problem is, and she agreed with me, he is not really that interested in you until you decide on the ivf. And they specialize in women who have trouble conceiving, not keeping the pregnancy, so I do not think I quite fit there.
Bec - I am so sorry for your loss, it is horrible, isn't it? I know you were devastated to lose the tube with your baby, but from what I know now, I really think it is a better option. First of all, as your doctor said, your good tube can "catch" the egg from the other side. And then, even if you get to keep your tube after ectopic, it may be opened but damaged and it just increases the risk of another ectopic. If I knew what I know now, I would opt to have it removed. Good luck with your TTC, you have very good chances IMHO.

.

ugh I just hate that. I mean, I'm (kinda) happy for them, but an accident from oopsy sex... after a break up, on the pill, and twins? And she is 8 weeks and no fear of miscarriage and telling the world already?
