Hello all the lovely ladies of this forum. Please pick up the conversation of the old thread HERE
Also I'm going to try to get the front page up to date, so if you would like to send me your most recent info by email, I'll sort it out. It will also give me an idea of where you are in your cycle so I can keep on top of it from now on!
Hey guys, i wonder if i have been ttc long enough to belong in here?
i was hesitant n joining here but i think i need the extra added support. (omg i sound like im selling a sports bra here)
ttc #1 for over 18 months now....looking forward to getting to know each of you a bit better and hoping to graduate from here very soon with a lot of you guys.
bring on the BFPS for april and bring on the first new year babies for 2007!
hey Danni - You most certainly are welcome over here. LOL at the sports bra, I think we all need extra support from time to time and you will definatley find it in here. Hopefully we will all graduate this month
Welcome Danni. This forum is the ultimate sports bra LOL - you'll get all the support you need I hope your stay here is short and sweet.
Bec - so sorry to hear that your girly bits need a bit of a prod Hopefully it will mean you'll be in with a better chance next month.
Same old same old here ... more hot flushes all day. Actually, I was in a meeting this afternoon, and everybody was going on about how freezing the air conditioning was, and they were getting endless cups of coffee to warm their hands with ... I sat there perfectly comfortable LOL ... it turns out hot flushes have their uses after all!
Danni - you are more than welcome to join us in here. It's funny, when i read your post i was thinking to myself 'has this girl gone mad, she's already in this thread' and i even went back a few pages to find your last post....... well me and my TTC brain, we just seem to chat so much in the other threads that i just figured that you were in this one too.....what a dag i am ....
Cherie - I know what you mean about the hot flushes. When i was on 50gm clomid i got them mainly on the days i took the tablets (and during the day), but this cycle since i've gone up to 100mg i only got one or two whilst taking the tablets and since i've stopped seem to be getting heaps of them, and mainly at night whilst i'm in bed. DH can't figure out whats wrong, coz we've had a few cold nights here, and i'm throwing off the doona and putting the fan on LOL...... the things we do huh...
Well i'm off to the clinic in the morning to have a scan for my follies. Fingers crossed the up-dose of clomid has done the trick and there is a nice big one/s. (secretly i'm praying for two, but one good one would be great).
I'll jump on tomorrow night when i get back. I figure that if i have to drive an hour, then i'm going to go shopping as well. We don't have department stores or clothing stores for that matter in our little town, so Albury is the place where we go for a day out. I'm taking a friend and two of her kids with me for company as DH can't get out of the shop for the day, so it will be a nice girls day out.
Have a good night..... (not long now for Desperate Housewives hehehe)
As for me, I have 2 on board. They used 6 of my eggs but only 4 fertlilised. the doctor said this was a good percentage given that it is ICSI, but I have my doubts. Anyway one of the embryos was starting to degrade when I got there this morning and one was 4 cells which is a bit slow, ans 2 were 7 cells. I was more than a bit diasppointed really. I think because we had such a good response last time but I suppose every cycle is different and I was on a much smaller dose of FSH this time. I have heard a well that odd numbered embryos don't do as well as even ones, which made me even more worried, but as we went in to the theatre, the embryologist said that there had just been another division and we had 2 8 cell embryos to put back, so I'm alot happier now.
thanks for all the good luck messages I really appreciate it.
Inspiration I hope the flushes aren't too bad
Perpare yourselves ladies. I have a tendancy to rant, and never more so than in the 2ww.
Sararms - Thats fantastic. Just stay positive. You need those happy endorphins to get those bubbas to stick. You now know that you have two embies in there and you just have to think of it as being pregnant with twins.
Rant all you like over your TTW and know that we are all here on this journey with you. You know we will be sending you out all the 'positive vibes' to help you along the way and to stay positive....
Danni - of course you can come in here, welcome. 18 months is long enough I hope your BFP comes this month and your stay is short. LOL at the sports bra, that is kind of what we are the 'sports bra thread' !!!
Cherie - glad to see those hot flushes were of some good use to you!!
Shan - I have my for you that all went well today. Hope the girls shopping day was lovely too, what did you buy???
Sararms - sending lot's and lot's of positive vibes to you across cyber space. We are here for you in the 2ww. *sticky vibes* for you.
Well I am back to taking temps this months. DH has decided he wants to take his temp every morning too as a show of support. He cracks me up sometimes!! We are very competitive at times and I have to keep telling him it is not a competition as to who has the highest temp LOL!!!! It's good though because he reminds me to do it every morning. I am still feeling positive (yeah!!!), clam & happy.
My latest 'ttc brain' thing to do - put my clothes on backwards. Stupid, I know!!! Sunday it was my jumper, yesterday it was my t'shirt & this morning it was my pj pants when I got out of bed!!!!
i agree that our "ttc brain" is worse than "preg brain"
i bet no one would believe us though!!
glad your hubby is helping you along..they are our bras at the best of times!
i forgot to take my last clomid tablet last night. OOPS. i will take it as soon as i get home, 6pm. and hope its ok.
this month is VERY busy for us so im hoping i forget about ttc so much. Yesterday was our first wedding anniversary, tomorrow is Dales 23rd Birthday, Saturday we are going away for the night to celebrate , then there is easter, my birthday party, my MILS bday, Dales SA and then we go to bali!
i hope my baby implants this month cos it thinks im not expecting it (wishful thinking hey)
Danni - Congrats on the 1 year wedding anniversay. I had a look at your pics, it looked like a gorgeous wedding. You have got a busy month, it just might be the thing to take your mind off ttc and make it all happen
