Sorry it's been a few days since my last post but i've been trying not to think too much about things the last couple of days. AF still hasn't arrived and i've been quite a bit anxious. Gave in today and did a HPT and got a BFN, so not sure whats going on. Very disappointed though. CD36....you think that if i was pg that it would show by now. I might give the clinic a ring tomorrow and see what they say, coz i assume that it is too late now to start another round of clomid (given of course that AF comes this month) due to them being closed for two weeks over xmas.
According to FF, my chart reckons that i'm in a fertile patch again. Can you start producing eggs and ovulate without having a period between the last one????? Well DH and I decided that we wouldn't leave it to chance and have been BDing like crazy just in case. It's all good fun though so we're not complaing.....well yet anyway.
Chele.....i know how you are feeling regarding xmas this year. Although mine is for another reason, which is that this TTC is really starting to get to me and that my sister in law just announced she's pg, i can't seem to get into the xmas spirit. People keep asking me if i've put my tree and lights etc up, but i just can't get into it. I haven't even decorated the shop and I usually do the house and the shop on the 1st Dec. If we had other kids, then yeah i would, but it's just me and DH and i don't feel we have anything to celebrate this year. My would have just turned 1 back in Sept and it would have been his 1st real xmas where we could watch him open presents etc and that's something that is really going to get me this year.
Not to mention that the family will all be going on about my SIL and brother and their exciting news and that they will be producing the 1st grandchild in the family blah blah blah.....it is going to be very hard.
Well thats it for me for now. I'll going to go and hop into bed. DH is already sound asleep (luckily for me i got in for a quick BD earlier this evening \/ )

I had my appt today & start the nasal spray on the 21st of Dec....anyone have any advice? I am sure I have read it tastes gross. Can I take a big drink afterwards to get rid of the taste? We are going ahead with an ICSI in January.
I am a bit worried about injecting myself as I hate needles! HELP!!

To be honest with you, I was expecting the synarel to taste pretty revolting, and after being on it for almost 3 weeks, it's really nothing. The taste of it isn't overwhelming, it's brief and over with within a few mins.

Skye, I used the spray twice a day for almost 3 weeks. You do get that taste for a few minutes so I would drink a glass of water. I did the injections myself, DH was keeping away when I was doing them. The first one took me close to 20mins to putting it in.... it was like.. 1..2.. and then I'd stop. But once it was in, I was fine. I found by putting it in and then looking away helped. When you are doing the injections don't rush it as you can bruise.
I am so very excited for you!! This is it!!! The balls starts rolling soon!! AT NGF they give you a Companion Guide. It tells you everything you need to know regarding dates for the next procedures which was great and will help you understand more about ICSI.

Starbright I am very anxious about the injections 8-[ A friend has offered to do them for me as DH is certain he won't be able to do it [-( We are really excited as well! Thank you for being so excited for me as well!
Just wondering if anyone would know the answer to this query I have......
DH & I are still going to TTC this month. What if I fall pregnant *touch wood* & then start the nasal spray on CD21 but don't find out till later IYKWIM? Can the Syranel (sp?) be harmful?
Should we bother with TTC ourselves this month, or just wait till ICSI?
Hi Skye,
It's not recommended ttc before you start taking synarel. Remember that it's suppressing your hormones, which if you are pregnant will be withheld from the embryo. Better to err on the side of caution.
