    Jane.
Yeah, He did two tests to say this, Each about a week apart, one for the day after you have DTD and the second one 4 days after you have DTD.
And they both said the same thing.
The Dr never told us what to do next, We tried asking him other times and he said there nothing you can do, Just be harder for ya's.
****s me off. Now being over 3 years, after this cycle we are going to go and talk to someone about it we think.

Bambi, some doctos aren't at all helpful are they :-k , I swapped over gyneas about 6 years ago and haven't looked back, my current one is wonderful. Might be worth getting the tests run again. Our guy told DH that even having a cold can effect the result and they normally do the seman analysis 70 days apart as that is how long sperm take to form.

Hope you get some answers, 3 years is a long time and they shouldn't tell you they cant do much as there are lots of things they can do to help. Is there a good womens hospital nearby? You're in QLD aren't you? I know the Royal Womens here in Melbourne have some of the best doctors working out of their public clinics as my surgeon does public clinics there as well as his private clinic.

I have been having little naps off and on today but I cant believe how well I feel considering. I am so impressed with the anesthetist from this time, if there is a next time (which I hope there isn't) at least I will know what to say.

    Hi Ladies
Jane glad to hear the op went well and endo has been removed. My last op was almost 12 months ago and I've had only one painful cycle since. My SIL ttc for 2 years and when she had her lap done she got her BFP the next cycle. That didn't happen for me, but like you at least I had confirmation that tubes and uterus were all good and they had confirmed I had o'd that cycle.

A little frustrated at the moment I think I have ovulated but I didn't get very much fetile CM.....and the OPK wasn't a definite so the only way of knowing for sure is to wait for the three days of raised temps.

Bambi - I thinking of finding a new Dr as I not happy with the options he's giving us of late - ie none. He just says to keep trying and relax aaggghhh. Dh and I have decided to give it a go for another 3 months or so and then we go see a specialist.

Have a good week and remember to tell yourself WE CAN, WE WILL and WE ARE READY.....I've decide I'm going to brainwash my own brain (subconscious at least) LOL :smt082

Question - what is Royal Jelly?

    Hi sk

Royal Jelly is basically a type of honey. Bees jst get ordinary honey, but only the queen bee gets Royal Jelly, as she is the only bee in the hive that reproduces. Chinese Medicine says that it is full of vit E which is good for cell maintainance and repair and is therefore ideal for ensuring great quality eggs. They also say that it is just wonderful for fertility in general I think just because that is what it is made for by the bees. I've been taking it for about five weeks, and my skin is the clearest it has been in 15 years and CM is good.

Try it (but brace yourself, it tastes foul!!!)

Ladies, I wrote a full on essay to you all, was about to submit and my comp crashed and lost everything! NOT HAPPY JAN!!

Need to ask this question... to anyone who has had a transfer... did you suffer from period pains? Did you do a preg test before date for clinic?

I feel really blah.. having dreams of babies.. even had a dream about an old friend stopping me and asking if i was pregnant.. I denied it and she said I was cause she could smell it??!!? Bizarre I know!!

I'm getting alittle anxious as I'm due to know in a few days, but with this period pain and my face breaking out in a real bad way... I just don't know.. Should I hang out and wait for the nurse to test me? OR should I do one myself? Is what I'm feeling normal?

Any advice right now would be great!

    xxx

Starbright - when are you due to have the nurse test you ?I haven't done AC yet but I imagine it would be the same as regular TWW where the HPT brings up the false negative when in fact in could be a positive if you test too early. If you can hang out as long as possible that would be better. You dont want to test and then worry that you test too early.

Sounds promising though dust: I hope you get a BFP I'll keep everything crossed for you

    Thanks Jane for responding.

Well, I spoke with a nurse at the clinic (funny, I was calling her the same time she was calling me..talk about ESP) and I told her about my concerns. She said period pains can occur prior to testing. When I told her about my pimple problem, she went on to say "oh dear, that is not good"..."it's OK..we can try again next month" - " hormonal breakout is not normal as that only happens with periods are on their way".

I love this nurse and she is an absolute gem and has helped me these last few months... I'm really hoping shes wrong but my heart of hearts I know she's right.

So I'm feeling pretty shyte right now. I tried through this 2nd process to be positive and was feeling fab. I felt calmer and happier.

Maybe... just maybe... I could be overeacting and just maybe it could be a wonderful ending afterall.

Sorry guys, wish I was in better spirits for you all.

Starbright... Period type pain is quite normal before a BFP so are pimples. Do you normally get pimples b4 AF? Any other symptoms? BTW when is your beta due? [-o< for you and me both this cycle

Shezabelle, was hoping you would respond.

Yes, I normally break out before AF but nowhere near this bad! This is shocking, I can't use concealer as it makes it look worse!

AF due Wednesday. But it hasn't been regular since last IVF attempt...so who knows?!?! Blood test is Friday morning.

Tell me how your feeling? Got any pain? When are you due to find out?

I have been praying for you since Wednesday! I have a great feeling that your going to be just fine! And my feelings are normally spot on!

Starbright :flower: I'm sorry to hear what the nurse said. Like Shez said though pimples can be from either. I think our bodies are really mean with the confusing signals and symptoms.

Hope you are feeling a bit better

I'm not sure how I'm feeling. I have periody type pains yes my AF isn't due til 15th same day as beta. I think my bbs are a little heavier but I'm trying not to overanalyse anything. The dr doesn't seem too optimistic but hey you just never know. I really hope this is the one for you. When was your transfer? I thought it was the same day as me.. how come AF is due so soon??
