it does tend to get a bit quiet sometime. Im not realy sure about the timing and ovualtion kits but i do know the sperm can stay active for up to five days so as long as you dtd within five days before ovualtion you are within the window - hope that helps.

I seen the surgeon and i am going to have the surgery i just need to get the date from the hospital ohhh bugger i just remembered i was meant to get a blood test oops i better get it done today.

What surgury are you off to get? Is it the laproscopy? To get your tubes cleared?

    Hey hope everyone is well,
Yes keli i'm doin ivf After a long while on chlomid this is what we had next.
Ok so i had egg collection on Monday they collected 12 follicles, out of the 12 they injected 10 of them, and 7 survived over night. i call up each day ( we are now onto day 3 ) Just to check on how the kids are growing, hehe.. 6 are exactly where they are meant to be and have separated into 8 cells and 1 is a ittle behind on 6 cells. The nurses in the lab said they are going great. My mum is a little jealous and rekons that she should be babysittind them not some strangers hehe.. I go back in Sat for them to pick the best one and put it back in and then will freeze the rest. So fingers crossed for me. I then have blood test done on the 20th to find out if it has worked.
I have been in so much pain since the surgery, really bad cramps, i could barely move for 2 days and was in a daze for the 1st 2 days, so drugged up, mostly slept. DH has been amazing taken time off work to look after me, he doesnt let me leave the lounge, I feel alot better today but as i had to start the gel ( To make the lining thicker) yesterday plus all the panedine forte i have taken i am not all blocked up, yes cant go to the loo, so am now in pain from that. The nurse gave me some stuff that i have to take tonight to help me out.
We just keep telling ourself that this going to work which wil make it well worth it.
I hope this makes sence to anyone reading it, im still having to take panedine forte so im not entirely with it
Good luck with the drilling 2
Hope someone has some good news for us soon...

    taking clomid - help!!!

hi i am just new here so i have been ttc for 1 year now i have low porgesterone and my gyn sent me for blood tests. So on day 14 my prog level was 24 and day 21 it was 15 he said it should be around 40 for ovulation (on day 14). I went for a blood test on day 21 before starting clomid it was 33. So after taking clomid I have been for a blood test on monday day 21 and got my results on wednesday and he said prog was 120!!! So either i am pregnant or had a very good ovulation and about to get period. Any way last night i wiped and there was a few spots of pale pink blood only once and havent had anything since implantation bleeding?. My period is due on mon/tues that is a 27/28 day cycle. I just wondered what anyone else has experienced? I have really sore boobs and nipples i think they look swollen! and i have been really cranky and irritable and very tired. Sorry for the long post any comments similar experiences would be appreciated

    7 days and counting

    Hey Guys,
    Any news on anyone... ???

So i went in for my transfer on Sat all went well, hurt a bit as my bladder wasnt full enough. But went in and thats all that matters. They ended up being able to freeze 4 of my embies which is apparently good

Now is the hard part, waiting another 7 days for my blood test to see if it was successful.
I have been told not to be to hopeful as it was our first attempt, they say that it may take a bit to get the body used to all the drugs for it to work. You would think for the amount of money that they could be a little more reassuring..

Since the transfer i had light cramping yesterday for a few hours, and today a few little nigglings pains in my lower belly. My nurse told me that i would prob get cramps as if my period is coming and said this even if it works is very common. Was lso told that there would prob be no preg symptoms at all before the bloods. Apart from the cramping, i have had sore nipples but that could very well be from all the drugs that have been thru my body....

This waiting is killing me each day seems to do for hours, i took the entire week off work to relax now im relaxng but watching the clock for each day to pass..
I cant even contemplate the fact that this may not work, DH is already so excited at the thought that there could be a baby in there now.. we are both just trying to be very positive.

    7 days and counting......x

I have my fingers crossed so hard for you and hubby
I had my ovarian drilling yesterday and im surprised how good i am feeling. Ive not had the need for any pain meds not even panadole which im happy about. I have had a tiny crampy feeling but thats it. Have an appointment with FS November 5 to see how everything went and when to start on the injections again.

Hope everyone is doing fine, take care

    Hi everyone
I just came onto this site tonight to research Clomid as I have been prescribed it today. My story is very similar to many on this site and it was reassuring to know I'm not the only one. After reading your threads I am desperate to find out if you are pregnant and look forward to reading your next threads.Good luck everyone.

    Question

hi everyone..so i got my period on monday i really hoped i was pregnant but started my 2nd round of clomid today so fingers crossed. I dont know what happened the clomid made me very fertile if my progesterone levels were 120 and we done everything right and i knew when i ovulated so i was a bit confused but the symptoms i had was probably an effect from the meds and i dont know why i spotted days before i got my period? oh well if its meant to be it will happen just hope it happens this month good luck to everyone hope someone has a success story to share soon...baby dust!!

Aw Bella its horrible isnt it going throught the month hoping so much that it worked then that dreaded day when you get your period. I hope and pray for you that this is your chlomid is your answer, afte months of me and dh trying, we are now onto the ivf..

I'm onto day 9 i go for my blood test tomorrow to find out if the ivf has worked. I;m so so so scared. This last 2weeks has been the worst the waiting has been killing me.
I had been nauseas, really sore boobs and very tired but these are also sight effects from all the drugs that are in my body.I also feel like i'm getting my periods, but the nurses said that i would get the pains like im getting a really heavy period.
I'm so a nervous wreck i am going to be absolutly devo'd if it comes back neg. i go for bloods in the morning and will find out in the afternoon.
I pray every second that im awake and asleep that this has worked for us..

    Update

Hi Bella, sorry to hear your period arrived, it's no fun at all is it. First you have to deal with no baby this month then you get to go threw the horrendous pain of a period.
You said you has some symptoms, what were they? Yeah often the side effects of Chlomid mimic the symptoms of being pregnant, totally confusing isn't it.

Hey Tamara, how's everything going with you? When do you get to start your next cycle? Have you got any results from the drilling? Did they say that the tubes were blocked previously? Hope it is all going well for you.

Myself, Got my wrecked period last Wednesday, so needless to say had a pretty lousy end to the week. Is it just me or does anyone else manage to drown there "not pregnant" sorrows with alcohol? Works a treat I must say.
Anyway, so I am back on Chlomid again now, onto day 3 today. Really really hoping this is our month, 2 and a 1/2 years and still trying, not sure how much more I can take. Some day's a just a little too much for me.

Frustrated, still got my fingers crossed for you (from 10 minutes ago). Would be great to have a new success story on here.

Hope everyone is well and not letting it get them down too much.

Lots and lots of Baby Dust to all

    Hey guys.

Ok finally i have some fantastic news.. I AM PREGNANT.. OMG i cant believe it. Had bloods done yesterday and they came back great they want levels to be any where from 80 and higher and mine were 280. I am still in so much shock. Still so early though 4 weeks 1 day today, so still very scarey.I thought for sure i must be, real bad back pain, sore boobs and nauseus the past 3 days.
I cant believe this has worked for us 1st ivf round, me and dh were in shock and tears all day after the phone call.WE cant believe this has finally happened for us, all the hard work (IVF) has been well worth it.
Sorry guys i hope this doesnt get any of you down just wanted to share with everyone as you all have been fantastic, this sight has helped me so so much.
I pray for each and everyone one of you that it is your time soon. Anyone having real trouble or is over chlomid really consider ivf this has changed our life forever. Such a miracle..
