    denied backside

    Hi KMond

My BT was today but I knew it was negative - I was upset on Friday but OK today. We have 6 frosties this time so i'm going to do an FET. I am demanding that we put in 2 this time - all my other cycles have been only 1. My FS really doesn't want me to do this and is making me see a high risk obstetrician for a pre-pregnancy review before she will put in 2.

I just don't think they understand that I grieve for the ones that don't stick as well.

Yay Jodz... Congrats on your BFP.. I really hope they can get the progesterone level up and that you can go on to have a H&H 9 months..
Boc - Yay for second line... Can't wait for confirmation for that BFP.. The only drug that will affect the line is if your on Pregnyl (I think that's the only one)
Bridget.. So sorry that your BT was a BFN.. I really hope you get a sticky one on this FET.. Good luck..
mitf - I hope you are going ok with the TWW
Emerald Star - I really hope this cycle is the one for you but the BFP's are from the Pregnyl shots you are having.. You have to wait a certain number of days after your last dose for a HPT to be accurate but I don't know how long that is.. good luck any way hun hopefully soemone else can tell you...
AFM - Feeling kind've calm.. I have been for the last couple of days... If veins standing out against my skin all over my stomache and BB's are a sign then I can't wait for next Monday... I have a good feeling but I guess I just have to wait...
Good luck to everyone and sorry if I missed anyone..

    Hi Everyone

Jodz - great news on your BT results - congratulations! Sounds like your FS is on to things and getting you the extra support you need. Fingers crossed that all continues well for you.

BOC - fab news! Done any more POAS yet? that this is the one for you

Bridget - so sorry to hear you have not had good news. Sounds like you are trying to be very brave and looking ahead to your next cycle which is great. Well done you. Why are you being referred to a high risk obstetrician for a pre-pregnancy review - any reason in particular?

Possums - GL with your cycle and hope to see you in here soon

Lilmiss - sounds like you have some positive signs happening - lucky you - hope it continues.

AFM not long to go now thank goodness - I have my BT on Wednesday morning so only 2 more sleeps to go. Still not really feeling anything but don't feel like AF is coming either so it's anyone's guess what Wednesday will bring. Have had a better week this week as I've been busier than the first week when I tried to take it really easy and stay home however it also sent me completely around the bend. Come on little embie please please stay with me!

Sending everyone lots and lots of

Hello, I'm finally here - FET was on Friday so am now on day 5 of the TWW. My BT is next Friday - right now that seems so far away......

Hopefully some of the BFP vibes in here will rub off - congrats to Jodz and tentative congrats to BOC.

Bridget - so sorry about your BFN, I understand grieving for the ones that dont stick 'cos I do it too. Good luck for your next FET.

Kmond - have you lost your mind yet? Best of luck for tomorrow morning - I'll make a wish for you tonight. x

lilmisshavachat - yay for good feelings!! I am a huge believer in intuition so I think there is a reason you are feeling positive - good luck.

Good luck to everyone else in their TWW.

    Hi Ladies,

Hope all is going well, hope none of you have gona loopy yet with the wait Thanks to everyone for the tentative congrats, let's hope it becomes proper congrats in 2 sleeps time eeeeek!

Bridget: So sorry to hear of your BFN hun, with the double FET, I asked my FS to do that but he flat out refuses unless you're over 35 and have extenuating circumstances

KMond: A huge for tomorrow! I'm not really feeling anything yet either, although my skin is an abomination, huge zits all over my face and chest! Never ever thought I'd be excited about that!

To al you other ers, wherever you're at! Let's make the month of May a BFP Bonanza!

AFM, as before, not really any symptoms apart from the bad skin and an insatiable hunger, seriously I'm scoffing everything in sight! But then that could be becasue I was so sick for 10 days after EPU that I barely ate...

Anyway DH hit the roof when I told him what I did, took me about an hour to talk him round. He's worried I'll get my hopes up then crash if it doesn't work out. But I'll get my hopes up regardles of POAS or not.

I've done 2 more POAS (1 each day) and this morning the 2nd line was a little shade darker (or at least I hope it's not my imagination)! Please God please please please let this be it!

Praying for you all as well...

hi ladies - always keeping track of those in the TWW and wishing you much luck.

Bridget - a thought from me re wanting to put 2 frosties back. I was in a similar situation - I had 2 frosties left and just wanted to use them both so that I could get back onto a fresh cycle. My FS explained that a twin preg is a lot more high risk / complications / possible defects, so, being totally risk averse, I opted for just 1 (I figured, it would only add one more month to getting back to a fresh cycle if it didn't work out, which wasn't too long in the scheme of things). Well, I was very glad I went for one, because it did stick and I'm not sure my body would have coped with twins (and a lot of ladies do have a very tough time carrying twins). Anyway, just some thoughts.

    all the best girls.

Kmond - Good luck with your BT today. I hope you have been keeping your mind busy.

Jodz - Congrats on you BPF and good luck keeping your progesterone levels up.

Emerald Star. Welcome and congrats on the POAS BFPs. Good luck for your BT tomorrow.

Lilmisshavachat - I hope you managed to stay sane for the rest of your week and good luck on Monday.

    Hi girls,

Sorry I haven't been in touch I have just started a new job and have been also sick with the flu. Geez such a lucky girl.....when it rains it pours.

Sounds like there are lots of sticky vibes floating around?.lets hope they continue for all!

Mahli09 - whooaa, I hope Friday is the best day of your life!!

Mitf - good luck...are you a struggling progesterone person too. How do they boost your prog levels?

Boc - You must be close now..I hope it is high numbers!

Infinity - Goodluck with your wait

Kmond - Goodluck tomorrow...thinking of you

lilmisshavachat - All the best...sending positive vibes

For all you 1st time 2WWers I hope all your dreams come true soon...goodluck to anyone I have forgotten!

AFM I feel a bit like I am back to square one, I am back in tomorrow for another BT to check my levels. I think I am more nervous this time than I was on Sunday!! I have A LOT of history and I am terrified it will be repeated. My wonderful FS has managed to find a chemist that makes injectable progesterone and I am going to have one of those tomorrow when I visit the clinic. (Apparently they really hurt!!) But I am willing to do anything at this point to get me further in this pregnancy. Sorry for my rant....I am trying to stay positive but it is hard sometimes, as you all know.
Will let you know how I go.

Nearly at the end of my first IVF TWW and think I am going a little loopy. It is just me or does it consume most of your thoughts? We have resisted doing a pregnancy test, BT is scheduled for Thursday. Waiting, waiting, waiting...

KI- good luck...it is all consuming in my experience

jodz- good luck- I know how stressful it can be when you've had losses and you are just so scared something will go wrong again. I hope this time though all is smooth sailing!

    Hi all

I have just come across this thread so thought I'd post a message to say good luck to you who are in 'imbo' for 2 weeks and very sorry to hear about the BFNs. 2 weeks feels like a life time and to get such a disappointing outcome is devastating. A BIG to you. And to those of you who have received BFPs... CONGRATULATIONS to you, that is fantastic and I hope all goes well for the coming months.

We had our FET yesterday so are now in the wonderful TWW process. This is our 3rd FET, but our first with a different clinic in a different state... the photo we were given with this one is really different from the others, so we are hoping that's a good thing.

I was wondering... do any of you get a little extreme when it comes to what to eat & what not to eat etc during the TWW?

Well, that's it from me, I am keen to hear how you are all travelling so will continue to check this thread.

Again... good luck to you all!!

Just a quickie but Congratulations Kmond what wonderful news and also to Jodz for rising levels Yay..
Hi to all the newbies and good luck..

AFM - AF arrived yesterday afternoon and the clinic has moved my BT to Friday instead of Monday... Pretty gutted and I wasn't expecting it so soon so it floored me a little and had to keep working as well when all I wanted was my bed and the room dark so I could think clearly (and cry in private).. And now I have to have a cycle off before FET... So more waiting...
Good luck to everyone else in the TWW...

Wow it's so busy in here. I had a strange feeling seeing as this is the first time I've participated in a TWW thread that there would be a heap of BFP's - I seem to be a bit of a charm for those around me!! If you want to be pregnant have some sort of contact with me - hehehe. Seriously - huge congratulations to Mahli09 and Kmond - fantastic news and wishing you H&H pregnancies. xx

Jodz - hooray for rising levels!

Mitf - i think we are the same - day 7 for me (I count ET as day 1) of my TWW. BT on 15/5 - when is your BT? Here's hoping we get our BFP's!

K1 - good luck with your BT today, I cannot believe how strong you were to not POAS. Please drop back in here with good news!

BOC - huge hugs to you. I'm sorry you think AF is arriving but hang in there - it's not over till its over. Hoping you woke up this morning to no AF and some positive vibes. I'm wishing for this to be your BFP! Fingers crossed x

Hi to helene & Chellie88 - best of luck

kittycat27 - did you POAS yet?? Please be good news!!! Thinking of you

Jozza72 - hi, good luck with your TWW. Re: food in the TWW, I've done so many TWW's that sometimes I am very careful and other times more relaxed. I always avoid the definate no-no foods and try to go for healthier options but still eat basically what i want.

lilmiss - so so sorry AF arrived. Hope you are feeling a bit better today

AFM: I have a cold!! Could this ruin my chances? I'm miserable 'cos I cant take anything for it and scared it means my emby wont want to hang around. I'm also on Prog pessaries and a bit down - bit of cramping yesterday and the day before - which would normally make me a bit excited about implantation but with prog pessaries it's probably them and not my emby.....agh so over this and it's not even a week in yet....

CONGRATULATIONS Jodz and Kwond I hope you have a H & H pg.

Boc - that your levels rise. Thinking of you.

Mahli - GREAT news Look forward to hearing your levels tomorrow. I waited till my DP got home from work b4 I told him the news. Like you, wanted to tell him face to face. Its hard though sitting there waiting till then! Good luck.

Infinity - I too got a cold during the 1st week of my TWW and thought the same as you that my embie wouldnt stick because my body was unwell. However, I got a BFP, so hang in there and take good care of yourself. Get as much rest as possible.

lilmiss - sorry to hear AF arrived

Good luck to everyone else. Lots of

Thanks for the sticky vibes....they worked!

BT confirmed BFP with good levels all round. I'm still in shock but hoping that sharing the news will help me get it through my head that its the real deal!

Sending out loads of those good sticky vibes to everyone still on the TWW.
